good to see you Seahorse...see you tomorrow night!

Hi Monkey's and Cookie!

Thank-you, Cookie!  I am glad to have been invited to the party.  I found no snacks,

I am whipping up some phantom mini bagles with sides of scallion cream cheese and cinnamon raisin cream cheese.

See you guys, later...love the new avatars, love the old ones, too.Smile

I think that Maks and Hope will be leaving.
her attitude and his mouthiness to the judges may have been the final straw.

did you see the video of Maks mouthing off and saying that it was his show..blah blah..
notice Derek Hough in the background just shaking his head..

'Dancing with the Stars' Week 6: New York dance experts judge the contestants

BY Kathleen Perricone
DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER
Tuesday, October 25th 2011, 11:08 AM

The judges of "Dancing With the Stars" -- Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman -- sometimes judge with their hearts and not their heads.

Other times, it may be because a certain contestant is needed to remain on the show in order to boost ratings (cough, cough Bristol Palin).

With the help of some of the best-skilled dance pros in the city, each week we judge this season's contestants solely on how they perform -- did they kill it on the dance floor or do they have two left feet?

Mariana Parma has a B.A. in dance from Rutger's University and was the 2008 USA Tango Champion. She specializes in Argentine Tango and Salsa and once coached Chita Rivera in tango for her role in the stage production of "Venecia."

Steps on Broadway's Pamela Pribisco teaches ballet and was previously the rehearsal director for the American Ballroom Theatre Company.

Ney Melo specializes in the Argentine Tango. He originally was a Wall Street investment banker until the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11 when he decided to pursue his love of dance full-time. Now a world-renowned tango star, Melo is the guest maestro at the upcoming Firenze Tango Festival and Zadar Tango Festival in Croatia.

ROB KARDASHIAN
WHAT THE 'DWTS' JUDGES GAVE HIM: 22
WHAT OUR JUDGES GAVE HIM: 23

Mariana Parma: 7
Great choreography, well done. Rob looked confident and had clean lines and footwork.

Pamela Pribisco: 7
Disappointing performance. Rob's mental process is showing too much. He looks like an obedient student. He lacked vigor and struggled with coordination and musicality this week.

Ney Melo: 9
This was a very confident performance by Rob Kardashian. The judges criticized him for lacking rhythm and power but I think that this was because the song was difficult to perform to. (A cha cha cha to "Walk Like A Man" is a stretch!) Rob is good-looking, charismatic, and has decent dance technique. He could go all the way in this competition.

NANCY GRACE
WHAT THE 'DWTS' JUDGES GAVE HER: 24
WHAT OUR JUDGES GAVE HER: 23

Mariana Parma: 7
She is definitely improving, but her frame and footwork was not quite as good as it could be.

Pamela Pribisco: 8
A pleasant surprise. Nancy exhibited more flair with her movements and had a relaxed performance quality. Overall solid performance.

Ney Melo: 8
Every week I say how Nancy is in the group called "not the worst of the lot" but this week she is pulling away from that group. Her foxtrot to "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" from the Monty Python musical was a fine performance. She looked confident and showed alot of personality. I don't think that she will make it all the way but she will live on for another week.

Darn it ~ I saw Maks bellyachin' but I didn't see Derek .  Was Derek shaking his head in disbelief . . . surely not in agreement with Maks.

I'm disappointed in Maks' attitude . . . and frankly, I think he's kind of had it with noHope and *her* attitude

Can't wait 'til tonight !

Len Goodman on 'Dancing With the Stars' feud with Maks: 'You can't be a judge at your own trial' -- VIDEO
October 25, 2011

Dancing With the Stars head judge Len Goodman has taken to Access Hollywood to address longtime professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s claim on Monday night that the celebrities on DWTS are judged on their “so-called potential” instead of the performance of the night.

“How often, in the heat of the moment, we say things where we think why did I say that? I think Maks is going through one of those period right now,” Goodman said.

“What they have to understand is: They’re on trial. We’re the judges,” Goodman clarified. “You can’t be the judge at your own trial.”

Muffy ~ Thanks so much .

I watched the whole video twice, and I am impressed with Len ~ maybe it's just me, but he was *very* gracious, and *also* said he may have gone too far . . . paraphrasing here.

Good evening to all my dancing monkeys!!!

J. R.'s dance looked as great the second time around....glad he is safe.   Given the upsets, I never take anything for granted.

Hi y'all !

So, are Nancy and Rikki the next ones to find out their results?  I'm wondering since that goofy Brooke just did what she calls an interview with them.  hee.

If that's the case, I'm thinking Nancy's in jeopary.  I just want her to be safe right away for one more week.

Did y'all watch the video link Muffy gave for the interview with Len ?   It was GOOD.

I think I'm wired on caffeine tonight. . . need to settle down .

San,

I had no idea she was adopted.  I love hearing those success stories.   I have three adopted monkeys and I hate it when people say "they are so lucky"....nope, there are no words to explain what those monkeys brought into my life...including this monstrous little six year old currently stanind in the living room window ( yes, IN the window. on the window sill ) and keeping the dog chasing him through the living room in FRONT of the television.  Never a quiet moment here...
