Went again to my Dad's apartment today (( I requested all the carpet with odor be removed and they did do that - so the smell is gone))) -


HOLY Sheep Dip the HEAT today was like trying to breath Cotton- which was 10:30 this am - I think it was 100 with the heat index. It was good though. My friend David met me there and he was able to take the bedroom set from my Dads spare bedroom. Has never been used - My friend David just went through a very ugly divorce and has two young teens. David a product of Michigan " Laid Off" .. so his resources are quite limited. He took the bedroom set and put it in his place for his son who just turned 14. It was a Win Win today ... very good.  It was good. 

I thought today of all days though with the temps high and the Canada/Detroit Fireworks there would be Tunes flying on the radio. I live 55 mins one way from my Dads. All I got was commercials on every station going back to my house .. It was killing me. You know me - I am the Music Kid.

I was able to enjoy ONE Song on my Drive home. Me DJ Smile
It was fun, because I know all the words .. and I sang it loud and Proud all the way down the Southfield Freeway ..

Did I tell you all that she tree'd a snake yesterday? My son was silly enough to ask me if I killed it..........   

I said, "sure, I just waltzed up to the tree and shook it off the limb and then killed it when it hit the ground......... " yeah, right!
