Does anyone else think maybe this pic is photoshopped?  I'm not really good at spotting it, but the girls shirt just didn't look right to me.  I sent the pic to someone else and they thought photoshop.  I think I remember seeing that shirt on someone from earlier pics, can't remember if it was the same girl or not.  Pita posted it just as it appeared on the website, but could someone be trying to fool us?

Thanks TM...I found some info on the timeshares for 2001, but I am looking for the info on the rest of the place and the casino for either 2004 or April/May 2005. I thought I recalled it went over to the government before it was sold off after that.

IIRC the Aruban government was sold off some of their hotel interests. Found later info on La Cabana.

The mother of Ryan P, suspect in the murder and kidnapping of Marlies, was saying no body, no case prior to her remains being found.

This is the legacy that Paulus van der Sloot has left to the islands.  He must be very proud!  Now every sick predator SOB there thinks all he has to do is hide the body really well just as Joran did and he is on "free feet" just as Joran is until this day.

Just intolerable that no one brings Paulus to bear any responsibility.  I hope Peter de Vries can nail him on this at the least.  Just hide the body really well and you can do anything you please?  I don't think this is acceptable at all.

I think this may be known as the "van der Sloot" defense in the future...maybe "Sporter Defense" or just plain "the Sloot".  imho

What is Joran known for?

We would get breakers from all over the country – little gangs of bubbly cuties looking for a local boy to corrupt them.  I’m no Joran van der Sloot, but I still always tried to be accommodating.  Once we would engage in initial conversation, one of the first questions would always be where they were down from.  "Ohio" would be their reply more often than not.  I couldn’t explain it, but I also wasn’t complaining.  Sometimes I wonder if I had grown up there if my nickname would’ve been Wilt Chamberbread.  The state of Ohio used to be very good to me.

Friday Night arounf 21:00 hours, Kralendijk confirms the news that the head that was found on a peace of terrain belongs to Marlies van der Kouwe. This is a semi closed case, becuase they still have to confirm the person or persons responsable for this case. They also found her bank card, 1 of her slippers. This saturday, the Dutch Forensic Investigators will continue their investigation and with this trying to find th rest of the girls body.
