Penny - Yes I am local. I will check on my walk tomorrow for the Vinson signs. Here is another little thought for you smart monkeys to process. If they know the area where the garbage was taken from, and we all assume she was placed in a dumpster, then why do we not see the police out checking all the dumpsters within a 1-2 mile radius? When the truck comes, it takes the garbage, not the dumpster (unless it is a construction dumpster). We have only heard of them looking and testing the dumpster at the house. What do you guys think?

Evening Monkeys. I just got back from a walk, and something interesting going on. This afternoon the guys in the white suits showed up again to the 1080 Gano house, tonight there is a police cruiser parked there in the yard guarding the house. Something going on????

Haven't read anything today about it.

I didn't notice any crime tape up this afternoon, and this evening I didn't want to seem like a lurky loo (even though that is what I was doing). I will check again tomorrow.

I don't believe it is standard protocol to search trash.  If so why was it days before they did so for Annie Le?  What about everyone else that goes missing?  I think  a lot of dead bodies do not get found because their bodies do end up in the trash.  That may just be MO but I really think it is the case.  Either we have one very smart detective that went with his gut feeling or they had a tip that led them to search the trash, usually that is the only reason they do so.  Did they check the trash for Haleigh?  What about Caylee? And if so, did they do it right away?

I read that they did check trash for Haleigh.

Caylee was not reported missing for 31 days, but I also think they checked landfills for her as well.

But as you said, it could have been on a tip as well. They did check RIGHT AWAY!

Thanks Brandi! This community will not heal until this creep is caught. It is comforting though that every business around has signs that say "Please keep the Thompson Family in your thoughts". It's hard to drive by them and not start to team up. Then walking past the memorial across from the house, sepecially at night when you can see the candles lit. It just hits home, that this poor little girl is gone and her family will never be the same.

Don't know if that has been found yet or not. Sheriff Besler said a lot of evidence has been recovered.

But Mary Justino mentioned that it had not been recovered in a 4 PM briefing last week.

It's very possible it has been recovered since that briefing.

They are being so tight-lipped right now. For good reason, I believe.

Yes, I believe they have them, but they are not releasing that information. The sheriff said they have alot of evidence. Funny how you never even hear the backpack mentioned in any of the news briefs.

Another thing that is bothering me is CWG being on the police report. I wish there was somehow a way to connect him to either CP or DT. I have a reason, but, don't want to start any rumors.
