I am glad you got your microwave, and I am secretly snickering at your "warming up to it." Not using it yet, but cleaning around it ...kind of like getting to know it on your terms. LOL

  As you know I don't have much luck with microwaves  It does look nice though.  JSM that's great you lost weight.  Northern I do hope your daughter gets to do her science project over, that isn't fair.   Those men's jackets looks like something Ward Cleaver would wear

  I can't sleep and feel rotten. My head is so stopped up when I lay down it makes my head hurt so bad.

6.0 earthquake off the north coast of Cali.

Magnitude 6 rocks Humboldt coast

A strong magnitude-6 earthquake rocked the Humboldt coast at 12:20 p.m. today off the coast of Petrolia.

The quake comes less than one month after the destructive 6.5 magnitude quake that struck on Jan. 9.

It was located 35 miles west north west of Petrolia at a depth of 7 miles.

The earthquake appears to be a large, late aftershock to the Jan. 9 quake, said Jim Goltz, earthquake and tsunami program manager for the California Emergency Management Agency. It is in roughly the same location as the larger quake, Goltz said, and it's smaller. "It's unlikely that there's any additional damage," Goltz said.

  I can't sleep and feel rotten. My head is so stopped up when I lay down it makes my head hurt so bad.

I'll tell you what has been a miracle for me. Saline drops, I use little noses for babies and kids. Amazing how it loosens things up. Sometimes it gets so bad I can't lay my head on the pillow, my head feels all swollen and pained. This has helped me, maybe it will you, less then five bucks at Walmart or Target.

Been watching a local TV station's weather blog forum thingy, and looks like we are in for at least 12" and possibly up to 24" starting tomorrow morning, ending Saturday evening, with some sleet sometime in the middle of this time-frame.

Time to hunker down yet again!

Hey Tevye how you feeling? I have acute sinusitis. I thought it was just a cold, but I had 100 fever and I never run fever. I feel guilty leaving Josef, but it is so cold and rainy that I didn't want to have to walk him in this crap.

Thanks, JSM. I'll have tha camera at the ready to share with you all. Actually, Brandi loves the snow when it is like 3-4" deep (we recently found out) but when it is higher, she gets a bit upset like, how could you do this to me? Where did you put my yard?!

hahaha. Silly baby.

JSM, please get some rest and get well. BTW, my mother always made us kids stay home from school when we had a fever and would not let us go back until 24 hours after our fever passed too. I hated staying home when I did not feel sick anymore.

That's how mine started, bad sinus and ear infection, then it waltzed into bronchitis. I sure hope that doesn't happen to you. Believe me when I tell you that saline drops work, I have had allergies and sinus problems since I was very little. It helps release the pressure, and then I sneeze and sneeze which helps. I'm sitting here with a generous glass of Baileys, my head is spinning from these cases

I"m cold, tired, and I seem to have a cold. But I"m good, last chemo is the 23rd. Big movie nite with grandson tomorrow after jail..I'm going to bed shortly. I'm pooped.

YOu, missy, should be in a hot shower, letting that steam do it's work. Drink lots of water (you don't want to hear my scientific explantion about water and colds) and sleep on the couch with your head up. Oh, and EAT MORE ICE CREAM!! You can never have too much ice cream...and after your great weight loss (way to go!) you deserve it.
