Beth has been thru alot. More than we can possibly know. If she can find some happiness for herself, then go for it. She deseves to be happy.

I totally agree, Kat_Gram. Anyone who has suffered so much pain deserves any chance she can get at happiness. I hope she does end up in a loving relationship with someone who will give comfort and support to her in the future.

Has anyone here ever spent a few minutes looking at Aruba Today and the Image, something or other, publication Renfro is involved with? Those aren’t exactly hard news type publications. Aruba Today looks like one of those throw away rags that are left on the night stands of hotel rooms and the image things is a pure fashion mag. How did she get involved with this case in the first place and why would networks like Fox, CNN and MSNBC turn to her for info about a missing person case? In this country that would be like asking Martha Stewart what happened to Jimmy Hoffa. WTH?

Dear diary,

I am writing to you because I was told way ahead of time that the KLPD would be coming to confiscate my diaries.  I hope the KLPD enjoys my thoughts especially the ones I write about my psycho son Joran.  He is such a good boy  and I hope that my words won't be taken out of context.  I think the KLPD are the smartest people in the world and they would never go against my husband.  In fact I have it on good authority that once they take this diary they will inform us nothing was found.  Can you believe they searched and dug up my driveway.  How dare they do that to my beautiful tree.  By the way I just wanted to inform them not to dig up the pool because they might find something.  Oh well it is good to right my thoughts down for these people because they are really the ALE disguising themselves as the KLPD.  Take care diary until I write again.

PS. I still have the see through blouse, they can not have that.

I just wanted to let everyone know that just because I haven't been here, not a day goes by that I don't think of Natalee or her family. It is just something that touched me in a way that I cannot explain and I will never give up hope that she will be found and her assailants will be brought to justice...

June 16, 17 - BETH TWITTY: I know on the 31st that Paul van der Sloot stated that he picked Joran up at 4 a.m. At McDonald's. It was also said to me by a police spokesperson on June 16 and June 17 that Paul van der Sloot stated  that he picked up Joran at 4 a.m. on the 31st at McDonald's. But I noticed on the day that I visited Paul van der Sloot at his home, all of a sudden, it was changed to 11 p.m.

Today the local language newspaper Diario (which is owned by frequent MSNBC guest Jossy Mansur) published what
the newspaper says is a signed police interview (or "declaration") with Joran van der Sloot in which van der
 Sloot says Deepak Kalpoe raped, killed, and burried Natalee Holloway.

Deepak panicked. He panicked when the gardener gave that testimony. That very afternoon,
he called an Aruban girl to help him establish an alibi. She, in turn, panicked. She called FBI.
