I'm not sure I've ever seen a dog like that.

it's very late, and i am not sure i get the turkey comment... do you think my pup looks like a turkey?

anyway...
she's a aussie/lab mix.  we got her from a rescue in south carolina.  that was her as a tiny little pup - 4 lbs when we got her... shes 53 lbs now... her name is kiah jane.  she's my best buddy.

this is her now... she loves to read...

     Oh, she's beautiful - I just want to cuddle her.....

she's the best dog on the planet.  when she is being good.
but she's a herder... so she can be a bit of a PITA.

It was just reported on CNN that the hurricane has claimed its first victim.  A large wave wash up onto road where a man walking and the undertow took her out to sea.

A 10 yr old boy was killed when a tree fell on their house.

   Gosh, that is just so sad.  Even worse is the fact that this storm is just starting.  That poor family still has to ride out the rest of this storm before being able to really do anything.  Sad, indeed

I am at a loss for words, this is just so sad.

and I can see that companion can steal a turkey LOL he / she is up on the counter... It's a long story that older monks all know...

I had a sheltie named Reggie that ripped off the thanksgiving turkey...

Our local news reported this afternoon that a 3 or 4 yr. old child was killed while their father was trying to cut down some trees at their home in Galveston. Unfortunately, i am afraid this is only the first of things to come. So sad.

ah, yes.... though she prefers raw bacon wrapped shrimp that is waiting to go on the barbie...
and my husbands birthday cake.
and my pad thai take out.

i am impressed that a sheltie could make it all the way up to get a turkey... but then again... i bet he's as smart as his daddy
