I don't think Lee was prepared for the deposition, I think ZG's lawyers tricked him and led him to think that the press was going to be in the room. I think Lee's lawyer came prepared to serve papers as soon as that happened but the press did not enter the room and he couldn't do it. Lee had no choice but to answer and this became a showcase for his complete lack of empathy for Caylee. With the exception of the very toxic relationship with his mother Cindy and sister slore he cares for nothing and no one. 

YEP!!!  Cause Lee's lawyer said he had another appt. at 10:30AM. 

I think he may have heard that an ambulance would be coming at about that time so he needed to go chase it.

You know, honestly, I guess all the As are kind of stuck ... and will have to say they believed this Zanny nonsense ...

To do otherwise would put them more in LE's crosshairs than they already are as far as obstructing ...

This past summer I had an unfortunate encounter with a sociopath very similar to KC. I won't go into the hows and why's she and her husband and 3 kids ended up at my house for over a month, but I will say that I had no idea she was bonkers.

It only took about a week and a half before I saw that almost everything that came out of her mouth was lie, at first they treat you almost like you're in on the stuff, she told me enough that I was able to see how she was duping her father out of money, falsifying job apps and rental apps etc.

The point is that when I started confronting her she would immediately change the story, (as if she had never told me otherwise before) and when I started pointing these unbelievable lies out to her father, he still was in huge denial. I guess families that have lived in massive dysfunction for years find it much easier to go with the fantasy than make a defiant narcissist be accountable because they won't do it. It's easier for them to constantly clean up the messes than to cut them loose.

The A's are stuck in the imaginanny story, but CA was pretty clever by early on, saying maybe the nanny was whoever was watching Caylee at the time. I think that shows she knew kc was lying but instead of demanding the truth, she went to the default position of cleaning up the mess. will never understand how kc's value was worth more than Caylee's.

I watched parts 1,2 and 3 of Lee's depo from the Wesh site.Part 4 and 5 seem to be on the WFTV site and for some reason videos won't play for me on the WFTV site.Does anyone have parts 4 and 5 from any site except WFTV?TIA

At first I thought ... no way!  No lawyer would take that chance ... then I remembered we're talking about Luka!  Where do the As get their lawyers?!  You'd think as many as they have ... they would have lucked out and got one decent one!  What are the odds?!

I agree mizjay I think they've lived this "way" for so long, it's all they know. I think they probably dealt with things the way that would cause the least amount of turmoil for all involved. Instead dealing with it the way it should, they just did what they had to to make everyone happy. Unfortunately over years I think it all just turned into one big downhill snowball, and they all got caught up in it, Caylee being the ultimate victim. They can only blame themselves for this though, because they didn't handle it properly. Maybe they tried, maybe they didn't know how? Anyhow, I'm just speculating this is what happened, of course I don't know for sure.

Good Morning monkeys.  Have my coffee and I'm all caught up.  Next week should be very interesting!  We may get to see Casey in court and we will be able to critique her weight gain, itching, and loving glances at JB.  Then there are all those documents and pictures to look forward too.  When will the judge decide if Lee has to answer the unanswered questions, do we know that?  Hope there are no more crabby trolls.  Happy Saturday to everyone.

I have now watched four parts of this deposition, I have no idea how everyone didn't pack up their briefcases while laughing hysterically at the most absurd story that was ever heard in a court room or a mock court room. I am stunned, but one thing that hit me like a ton of bricks while watching the fourth part, they are covering for Casey, but what they are covering and I believe have been covering for a very long time, is Casey's mental illness, is it at all possible that Casey is Zeneida? I no how so many have called her a sociopath, but help me here, I really am believing she has a split personality or whatever fancy term they have for this now. Let the nanner throwing begin, but be gentle, it's been a long day.

Oh Gosh Wyks....you have been thru it. Hope you get to feeling better. Will keep you in my prayers. I know from experience how bad the broken ribs hurt. Binding them really tight helped me.

MM, I totally agree with you.  However, I don't think "any" of the family cares about anyone other than themself as an individual.  IMO, when they appear to care, it seems like it's because Sin cin has thrown the fear of God into them.  Maybe, KC, too, but not sure since she's found her comfortable home in a jail cell and we don't hear anything from her.

To Mrs. Peel:  We're getting a lot of snow here in MO.  One of my two little dogs loves to put his whole face into the snow and go barreling around.  He's 15.  My other little "princess" doesn't like to get cold or wet.  In addition, all of the birds I feed are having an awful time getting to their food.  They're doing a lot of buzzing around chasing each other from the feeding areas.  Kind of reminds me of the Red Baron cartoons.

To JAA:  Although you're finished being able to post here, I assume you can still read the comments.  I only stick with reading & posting at SM, and have been so fortunate to be a part of such a wonderful group of people.  "You" either have some real anger/hate issues, or you're one of the As's.  JSM is one of the sweetest people.  For YOU to attack HER, was one of the most nasty, out-of-line things I've seen here in quite awhile.  Thanks Klaas for being on top of the situation.

Now that I'm caught-up and have said my peace, I want to THANK ALL OF YOU MONKEYS for taking the time, patience, and stomaching yourselves thru LA's tapes and sharing them here.  I haven't had the time, nor, from what I've read, would be able to stomach listening to the spewing lies from LA.  What I keep thinking as I read all of your posts, is that the As's have lied so much, that they can't remember what lies they've said or what lies go with what other lies.  KC appears to be the only smart liar.  She has one story, however stupid it may be, and she's stuck to it.  So, she doesn't have to remember anything else.  (Does that all make sense???)

OMG  I hope that's not the case.   On one of the tv shows that idea was thrown out but the psychologist said that a split personality would usually involve a facial/body visible change, it couldn't be summoned up at will and that kc most likely would've been treated or diagnosed already.

Also it seems like Baez would've had doctor after doctor in there with her by now........................oh I forgot, he's busy shopping mega deals, so maybe when he actually decides what defense to use, he'll start interviewing doctors willing to say what's needed

AK, I love to watch it when KC grits the back of her teeth, which makes the vessels on her temples swell.  (There was a pic of she and Bozo in either this thread or the past one where she's doing it.)  It tells me she's peod about something.  But, I don't know for sure about that.  I'm not a specialist on the subject.

My gut reaction response to the post above would be YES. 

I didn't see posts about dogs jumping out at me but I did see this post, go figure    There may have been some off topic chatter while people were waiting to see Lee's deposition.  I tend to let that slide when it's slow in the case, I suggest you do the same.

I feel for ya Wyksy.. I had the same thing since the second week of December... ditto on the rib too.. I got more magic cough medicine the other day too .. I hate vicks... glad I didnt try it
