Northern have you never seen Lancelot Link the famous Monkey Detective ... Oh I used to watch him when I was little...  I loved him so.

Nope never.  When I was little we were on a farm in the middle of no where, had little money for something as useless as a TV.  I think I saw my first TV when I was in grade one at the neighbours and it was B&W.  I even remember the first show I saw, the Redd Skeleton show.  I cried when that man passed away God rest his soul.

I love Red ..specially when he was the HOBO ..lol ...

Gertrude and Heathcliff were my favourites.

Klem Kididdlehopper (sp?) ring any bells?

Yes it sure does!  I think later in life Redd painted clowns and I am pretty sure he did one of Klem.

You're right, NR, he did paint clowns and those paintings are worth a LOT of money now!

and even when I was told to leave the room - My Dad would play Lenny Bruce and Redd Foxx * do I remember them. Not from their albums. I just remember being told " go to bed" lol... but I do remember the album covers and Redd Foxx had some Hum Dingers in his day.

thanks...geeze the Monkee's not Monkey's..my dads current wife is the BIGGEST fan named 2 kids DAVIE and MIKEY...ugghh..i had no issue until she came around (they were before my time but i got to watch the re-runs..she had them all TAPED!!)

good luck .  I like all kinds of music, and I mean all kinds from funk, country, classical (not chamber) but mostly classic rock. Pink Floyd- Wish You Were Here holds a soft spot in my heart for a dear friend I lost.  Can not wait to see what you come up with!
