JSM's BEGGING FOR BAN THREAD #20 8/27/10 -

I hope both JSM and Josef are doing better today,

Made meatloaf, carrots, mashed and gravy for dinner also swiss chocolate cake and apple pie for snacking on.  Lets see how long it takes before they disappear. 

Meatloaf, baked potatoes and green beans here LOL

This morning JSM said Josef seemed better.

Haven't heard from her tonight.

Pot of coffee, jar of peanut butter and a spoon.

That's why you are so slender. And I am not.

 

I don't cook. I was married all those years and never cooked Paul and I always ate out because we both worked and it was our winding down time together.

One of nephews and his wife have done the same thing. I always wondered when he remolded their home why he put in all top of the line stuff in the kitchen when neither one of them cooked or spent time in the kitchen. 

We had the kitchen updated and we had a Jennaire down draft range with a convection oven. My sister always said she was just going to stop by on the way home to use the stove. I still don't understand a convection oven or why it was better than aregular one. Never used it but the people who bought the house were impressed.

I don't know the difference either. Am sure my nephew and his wife were thinking the same thing. To not just remodel their home to add value. 

When we remodeled our kitchen last year, we put in a convection oven  not so much to add value, but because:

He is a bossy doxie.   

Today will be fun.Hubby is going to pick out the blinds for the big windows in the living room today.    He actually has good taste.The flooring is where the tug of war will come in.   
when I get Sidekick bedroom painted I will be done downstairs.

I found out yesterday she has been admitted to a Alzheimer's unit for an open ended stay until they get through working on all their projects.I feel much better about her now.The other day I saw her walking around the lake side of the property over there for several minutes.She could not get back in the house,and was trying to crawl up the steps.    Finally they caught her.I was so scared for her.I despise those people,but I am praying for teh mother.    Bad part is now they plenty of time torture everyone else.

I must say I think of Digger as more like Hobbs than Otis.
As far as the lady next store, I would report them if she comes home and appears to be in danger. I would give the world to still have my Mum here to look after.

Morning all. Very behind in the cage, hope to catch up tonight or this afternoon. FYI, Josef was very lethargic last night that's one reason I didn't get in the cage last night and I spent a lot of time talking with the assistant manager at my apartment. She is on the hunt for the dog lady. Showed her the picture of Joe to her, she really got pizzed. Thanks for all your prayers, he is back to his evil ways this morning.

Trimm I saw what you posted about the elderly lady next door. Glad she is going into a home until work is complete.

Digger is gonna give Hobbs a run for his money today.He just came running in here and jumped up at me and knocked my drink over....he wants to go outside.   
He has already knocked all the cushions off the couch in the den.,after he drug freshly folded sheets out in the floor.     WTF?

Lol thats halarious, whenever peanut goes to the store with me i will put her blanket in the child seat part of the cart and she sits there, she always tries to be as inconspicuous (sp?) as she can but every person who walks by she leans as far over as she can trying to brush up against them so they will see her and pet her, it cracks me up!!

Scarey..that is awful about your truck! did you leave right after that? I would have been afraid to stay there after that, but I am a big chicken ...

No we tried to enjoy the rest of our weekend as we knew after that it was gonna be last camping trip of summer, we also both had our handguns with us for protection.... oh and of course my big farocious attack dog..peanut
