Re:  West Virginny.  Think Rachel Ray.  Talk to some locals and ask about restaurants.  Go to the interesting one that's been in the family for generations and makes a special gumbo or apple pie or something that everyone in the area goes there for.  Then find some colorful place for a drink.  Maybe one with a patio.  There may not be much to do, but there's got to be some local "color" that could be fun.

I think that is what we are going to do.  We really want to just chill anyway.  I'm sure we can find some kind of trouble to get into.

You probably saw this already but I figured I'd throw it out there..

Greta touched on the April/May activities - but if she thinks she is reporting news she is totally wrong.

Like Red says, no MSM is on the pulse as to what is happening in Aruba.  Red and SM have the latest regarding upcoming searches.  And I agree with Red that there would be no chance that the Dutch would be broadcasting their intentions.  Perhaps MSM info is that someone saw a few Dutch investigators there - that in no way provides the actual number remaining.

Smile I saw that Dana popped in to say he may have a show Tuesday.  I was hoping they are anticipating some news and will have Jossy on.  I'll add that I like his shows and guests even if they're not about Aruba, but given the Dutch investigation and the anniversary, I was hoping that Red, Tim, Dana, Dave and Jossy know something might be coming down the pike.

Hi LilPuma - I like Dana's shows too.  He might be tired of me calling in all the time, though Wink   Other monkeys should plan on calling in.

I agree Sleuth.  She is unprofessional.

Yep.  But she can repeat the old stuff over and over as far as I'm concerned.  The more it is in the news, the better.

I did like the way that program outlines three different answers to the same question and also points out that it was a flopped investigation from the beginning.  That basically sums up the story.

I agree that it is giving the case more news.  But this was never a flopped/bungled investigation.  This was a well planned coverup from day one.  I can't stand that they are using that weak excuse just to protect the ALE.  No one is that stupid.  A first grader could have solved this case.

Greta always has to give credibility to people like Tito trashing Natalee, however.  That just burns me up.

Talking about Joran's blotches and flaming ears, if you see it tonight check out the flash of anger on Tito's face and the slight flush when he says Natalee was "acting wild" then later on he says she was acting just like all of them.
He is lying and he knows he is lying even if he is just repeating what he was told to say.  And he needs that anger to fuel him in doing this.

Another liar.  Show me the photos of Natalee "acting wild"!  Then I will believe it.  Those girls in the casino sure don't look wild to me!  Yes, she was there 83 hours and was so wild that they still remember her until this day?  Then they are all liars.  If not for seeing her photo a thousand times, I would bet not one person there could have picked Natalee out of a line up of six other blond American girls her age.

Exactly!  There were no mistakes made at all except for not counting on Beth arriving when she did.  They thought they had until the first commercial flight the next day.  Too bad she surprised them.   Evil or Very Mad That may have prevented their taking Natalee off the island so there is still that slight chance that she is still there buried somewhere.

Why doesn't Paulus leave and move away or go back to Holland?  He has no real job in Aruba now and no future there any more since he flunked out as a judge.  We don't really know why, probably something to do with morals and dirty reputation.

Joran is in Holland and so is Anita so why does Paulus stay in Aruba with no future there?  They could just pack up the two younger kids and get them away from all this bad publicity.

Why is he staying right there in the Sloot compound like this?  Others have moved but not Paulus.  I wonder why.

Back to work but I did think, all in all, considering it was a repeat, it was pretty good.  I would give her a C+.  A six out of ten maybe.

It has been a year since I saw it and I didn't remember some parts like AB or AD actually being a witness brought in for questioning.  Wonder who that is.  Also had forgotten Michael Dompig's blathering.

And I guess in light of young Sporter bragging about being a pathological liar, she didn't want to say again she was inclined to believe him.  She admits they are telling different stories AND that not one person has come forward to say they saw them on the beach.

It could have been worse and more biased toward Joan I suppose.  No mention of the book or Paulus being denied the money strangely enough.  You'd think she would have at least mentioned those two things.

Natalee could not even approach what some punk like Joran considers wild.  This a guy with the nick name loverboy and pictures of himself plastered all over the internet biting crotches, passed out drunk, leading his gay boyfriend around with a belt around his neck.  This a guy who has a girlfriend with sexual interest in canines and who knows what other animals.   This guy brags of being able to drink 22 beers and 151 rum does not even get him drunk.

The things that Natalee would consider wild would just bore Joran as mere childs play.

Yeah, Natalee acted wild.

Good points, Anna!  I'm thinking she missed all of that during the time that she was covering the Ann Nicole stories..  She probably hasn't looked at the case for ages and then got the newest blips from April/May.

Sorry about that, fixed it now.  It doesn't blow the margins if you use IE as your browser which I do.  So I didn't know it was a problem  Wink
