Hard to tell for sure what color her hair will be.  The dads is blonde and the mom is naturally brunette.  I'm betting on blonde.

OMG, Klaas! Look at those precious little fingers and what a head of hair! She's going to have her Grandma's thick, blond hair I'd bet! Her hair is pretty light for a newborn and I really do think it's going to be blonde. You're going to get to feel those little fingers wrap around your own and when she does, she's wrapped your heart up for life! Oh, Klaas, I'm so excited for you!! 

Let's see now............ My son gets married in May. Hmmmmm............. if she got pregnant now, do you think it would show in the wedding pictures???   

So, fess up, Klaas! What is that bundle of joy going to call you? Are you a Grandma, Memaw, MeMe, Grammy, Grandmother, or a Mumsy?  You could be a Mumkey!

My sister's grand children call her "Nana".  Maybe Klaas could be Nana.  Monkey.  Nana.  MMM Maybe not...   

Awww, j/k.  I don't have any grand children yet.  Just a grand birdy named "Bird".  I'm so happy for you and your family Klaas.  She's a beautiful baby girl.  Maybe she'll help choose what she calls you.  "Gran"?  "GiGi?"  Those are a couple more names I've heard grand children call their grand mother.  What about Mr. Klaas?  Pops?  Gramps?  Gran-da?  What ever the names are, I'm sure when she says your special name it will sound wonderful.

I am partial to Nana myself, that is what my grandbabies call me(hubby is Papa). I love my sis in law's the most though..."Noni", started with their oldest g baby, couldn't pronounce gramma. Funniest? My youngest girls kids call the other g-parents "Meemaw" and "Peepaw"( that peepaw cracks me up, I guess papaw.long a, was taken?) I got a phine call the other day from 18 mo old grand daughter(first time she talked to me on phone, ALWAYS calls Papa)...I understood the "hi", "Love You", and then , "Papa?"       Robin says they are working on that one!   LOL! Hey, at least I got a call , although I still maintain 2000 miles away is just wrong!
Whatever  your moniker ends up being though, will be the sweetest word you will ever hear!

She was 8lb 14oz 21in long.  She was actually about a week early but mom was showing some signs of preclampsia so they decided to schedule a c-section knowing that she was a big baby.
