hello everyone!
Im a little knew to the blog as far as posting, but Ive been reading from the beginning. I have 2 questions/comments.

1. In the interview with the towing company, the manager said that as ga and her were walking to the car, GA kept apoligizing for CA behavior and kept saying, we cant find out granddaughter, she is missing. Well, I thought the 911 call came in about her being missing AFTER they got the car home. whats up with that!! Why didnt they call 911 before the car was located and picked up

2. GA said in his interview, that the last day he saw CA W/baby, that she said she was spending the night at Z's because she was working late and the baby was going to stay there also, but isnt that the same

Maybe he just meant missing in the sense that they had not seen her. By this time weren't they likely suspicious of Casey's actions and in
keeping Caylee from them? Casey had avoided them, may have texted Cindy but had avoided coming home.....that was why Cindy drove to AL's after finding out his location from Amy. I know myself during such times I can imagine many things......even work myself into a panic if there is enough time.........

They just did a blurb on CNN that during the Prime News segment at 5pm EST they will be discussing the witness list and how LE will go forth with a homicide charge without a body.

I'm trying to find a link now. It was just a blurb they did on upcoming stories this evening.

This quote about George and KC on the 16th is soooo questionable...........I really don't think George is lying but I do think he has his Mondays mixed up ...........like I said in a previous post.............on Monday, June 9th, KC would have been planning on staying at Ricardos so she wanted to let her Dad know she wouldn't be home that night (so that is why she used the "crashing at Zanni's" excuse.  But I really believe that was on JUNE 9th - NOT June 16th.

The woman falsely named as missing tot Caylee Anthony's baby sitter — and kidnapper — said the child's mother has cost her a job, her family's privacy and life as she knew it.

Zenaida Gonzalez told FOX affiliate WOFL-TV in Orlando that her world was turned "upside down" after the little girl's mom, 22-year-old Casey Anthony, gave her name and other details about her life to police.

"I lost a lot. It changed my kids' life. I lost my job. ... I've had to hide out," Gonzalez told WOFL. "Why me? Why drag me into your mess? Why drag my family into your mess? She ruined my family. She ruined my life. Simple as that."

Gonzalez, a Kissimmee resident who has filed a defamation lawsuit against Anthony, said she had never even met the family or heard of them until she got the call from police that she was under investigation in Caylee's disappearance.

The child has been missing since mid-June. Anthony claims she left 2-year-old Caylee (whose third birthday came after her disappearance) with a baby sitter named Zenaida Gonzalez, who snatched her. After investigating those allegations, police say they don't believe the young mother's story.

Gonzalez thinks Anthony gathered information about her by going to the same apartment complex Gonzalez had visited to look at a vacant unit. Police have confirmed that theory.

"I looked at an apartment for 15 minutes and those 15 minutes changed my whole life," she said.

In addition to knowing her name and learning about her visit to the complex, detectives also had information about her two daughters and what kind of car she drives, Gonzalez told the station.

She said she was let go from her job as a direct result of her unwanted involvement in the case because her boss was "scared of the media."

She declined to elaborate on the type of company or its name, describing it only as "a place where people go a lot" and explaining that her employer feared the swarm of reporters was hurting business.

Gonzalez's interview and lawsuit have come after the release of about 600 additional pages of documents in the case, among them the transcripts of text messages, voicemails and depositions with Anthony, her family and her friends.

In one sexually charged instant message exchange, Anthony tells an apparent lover ("nyitaliano3") that she's "so sad," feels like she has "cabin fever" and craves freedom.

When he invites her to dinner, she tells him she'll have to bring her daughter, whom she refers to as "the little snot head."

She also talks about a nanny she refers to as "Zani," though most of her friends and acquaintances have told police they'd never heard her speak of a baby sitter or of Gonzalez.

The Orange Osceola State Attorney's Office has made about 1,000 pages of discovery available to the public and the press in different increments, which is unusual in an ongoing investigation.

On Monday, a judge denied a central Florida homeowners association's request to keep protesters out of their neighborhood, where Caylee was reported missing in July.

Anthony's neighbors had asked the Orange County judge to force protesters and members of the media away from their homes.

In her decision, she wrote that the association again failed to adequately notify the protesters of the pleading and give them time to defend themselves against the allegations.

Investigators say Anthony is a "person of interest" in the case and evidence indicates the girl's decomposing body was in her mother's car.


But Anthony has repeatedly said she doesn't know what happened to the girl after she allegedly left her with Gonzalez.

She has been charged with child neglect, making false statements and obstruction.

Anthony also faces unrelated check fraud charges and is currently at home with her parents on house arrest after several stints in the Orange County Jail.

Probably not taking lie test on attorney's advice, imo. 

If being brought into the spot light ruined her life, why is she doing so many interviews on tv? She's just making herself more recognizable

Well If I remember correctly, The grandparents were goign to and Lee Adivsed them not too and her also refused. I can see attorney telling them not to at this point in the game but something's gotta give soon.

The following words of Leonard Padilla are the reason I keep flip-flopping in the theory.  Was it George or Lee who assisted Casey in the coverup?

LEONARD PADILLA, BOUNTY HUNTER: Well, Casey was spending a lot of time in her room. When Jose Baez, her attorney, would come over, he`d make sure that she wasn`t around the other people in the house. She was solitary in her room. And one day, when the FBI and some local officials came over to ask the Anthony family to take a lie detector test, Lee became agitated. We were sitting out in the RV. And at first, they agreed to, and then he came back out and said, No, we`re not going take lie detector tests at all.

GRACE: Whoa! Whoa! Wait! First time hearing of this. I`ve asked you 50 times what goes on in the house, and suddenly, I`m hearing they asked the Anthonys to take a lie detector test and they did not do it?

PADILLA: That`s correct. We were sitting in the RV and we saw -- first, there was a child protective services individual that went in, and then later on, some law enforcement went in.

GRACE: Wait. Are you talking about George and Cindy Anthony...

PADILLA: Yes.

GRACE: ... were asked to take a polygraph and they declined?

PADILLA: At first, they agreed. And then when Lee went back in there, he came back out and told us that he told them, No, we`re not going to take lie detector tests...

GRACE: Why?

PADILLA: ... and neither was he. I don`t know. I told him that was the best way to get cleared by the FBI of any charges or anything like that that might be coming down the road. And he said, No, I don`t care if we`re not cleared. We`re not taking them.

Sorry for all the  typos... trying to multi task. So if she is somehow able to not show up for the check fraud charges, is there a chance the same thing can happen with the Z.G. case? I would think not but we never know with this family.

I agree.  It sounds to me like she's seeking her 15 minutes.  I also recognize that she has the right to sue for defamation, but the reality is that a lawsuit is only worth the amount of money that can be recovered for damages.  I don't see much money being recovered here.  Additionally, she will need to show actual damages, and I have some doubts about that.

June 13 Friday Roy House, Lazzaro’s roommate says he saw Caylee on June 13 at the Fusion bar with her mother, when Casey attended a party thrown by House and Lazzaro. It was noted because several people noticed and commented that it was inappropriate to have Caylee there. I think this is important, that Casey was told by her friends that Caylee shouldn't be at a night club on Friday night, three days before Caylee goes missing. Why didn't she have a babysitter on that night, if they were so freely available? I never knew this.

Janet, I wonder about this, too.  I strongly suspect there are family secrets they are protecting.

Simple explanation--Casey had no money to pay a babysitter.  There may be other, more complex explanations, but this one provides motive.

I believe that Lee helped cover up and while she was in Jail, Lee confided in the parents and now they all know what the truth is.
Also I believe by now that Bias (?) also knows the truth and to my understanding he is not allowed to break the confidentiality all he can do is encourage her to tell LE the truth... BUT in their eyes, it is no ones business but their own. "to keep Caylee "safe" "... ::MonkeyNoNo:: Do not believe any of it!

If Casey Anthony had implicated AZLady in the disappearance of her daughter ... AZLady who has never had any negative media attention in regards to character directed on her in her entire life. ... I believe that in itself could be considered defamation of character ... with or without any actual damages.

I'm no attorney, but help me understand how ZG has a case. I know Casey used that name, I know ZG visited Sawgrass. If she said Mickey Mouse was the phantom sitter would Disney be able to file suit? Not joking, just trying to understand why every ZG in FL would not be equally involved in suing.

I would do the same thing...after the shock wears off of being accused of something when you are innocent it makes a person very angry.  Once they "prove" themselves innocent the person wants restitution...I was in a situation (nothing as disturbing and serious as this) and I felt that way.

I have to agree. Lee knows. He can not take a lie detector he will fail. He can not refuse or he alone looks guilty of knowing something. So they all refuse collectively-or LE zero's in on Lee.

And there was one time that she was actually supposed to go meet with her mom, but I think she forgot or she got held up doing something and she couldn't go. So she was on the phone with her mom saying, OK, I'm sorry, you know, I missed this, but you know, I'm not going to be able to make it.

VAN SUSTEREN: So you never heard anything bizarre like, Caylee is here with me, Mother, or anything like that, anything peculiar.

HOUSE: And Caylee not being there?

VAN SUSTEREN: Yes.

HOUSE: No, ma'am. No. That -- never heard anything like that .

VAN SUSTEREN: So obviously, this is -- you know, as you've said, an insane situation. But is there anything now, looking back, that you think might have been a red flag, something weird?

HOUSE: No, not really. Everything seemed normal. I mean, she was around the apartment. She was happy. She was bouncing around. She'd be cooking, cleaning, you know, just hanging out, and you know, goofing off with us. But it just -- it seemed normal.

VAN SUSTEREN: This is just so weird, you know -- you know, that she's, you know, so seemingly normal. You know, it's clear that she's got a problem. There's some problem, you know?

VAN SUSTEREN: And poor you, being dragged into this. I'm sorry you're dragged into this.

HOUSE: I just -- I wanted, I guess, people to know, you know, the story of our friends, that we were all just getting to know Caylee and Casey. We -- you know, we had been there for -- she had been there for a month-and-a-half before all this really happened, so we were all just as flabbergasted as everybody. It was -- you know, when the story broke that Caylee was missing, we were all just, like, What? You know, how did we not know? Especially with the first date that was said was June 9, her missing, you know? I thought back right away, and I had seen Caylee after June 9, and that's what I told investigators right away, that I'd definitely seen Caylee after June 9. So I knew that date was not true.

VAN SUSTEREN: So you never saw Caylee, though, after the 16th, which is Monday, the day after Father's Day.

Lie detector or not, they WILL all have to be witnesses and a good jury will discern. They will be chewed up by the prosecution.

I believe Lee has helped in the "coverup" - but I have to wonder what "truth" they believe.  I don't think Casey would tell ANY of them the real truth.  She has either convinced them Caylee's death was an accident or is sticking to her kidnapped story.  If anything Cindy & George have figured out on their own what probably happened.  They are in turn trying their best to protect Casey.

Where were they when Caylee needed protection?
Were they concerned when Caylee needed someone to look out for her?
Did they EVER put Caylee's needs ahead of anything else?

These are the things that burn me up.  The focus should have ALWAYS been on Caylee!  They ALL failed miserably!

All I could find

In Mike Kozak's statement he says after Casey got pregnant she was transfered to office duty....there she  worked with personnel people - applications etc. I wonder if ZG ever applied to work for Kodak and if Casey ran across her application there?? Her name is unusual and Casey might have remembered it?

I agree Sunny. Plus, if she were still staying behind the scenes, people would be saying, "Why is she hiding?" I think it cuts both ways, and her attorney probably thought it best to show her face and say, "Yes, I am ZG, and I am not a kidnapper." Just my thoughts, anyhow.

I was reading his fathers MySpace last night, and his most recent blog where he was stating the Monday night interview on NG.  He was upset having been cut short by NG, but I loved what he had to say in his blog.  "There is only one victim in this case, Caylee".  IMO it was his way of lashing out to those who are all defending Casey and have completely forgotten the true factor in this case, Caylee.

She states that the Anthony's are looking for Caylee?  Standing at the same publix every day is not getting the word out.  She is right about one thing and the focus needs to be on Caylee, but then again if Casey would just tell the truth about what she did to Caylee and where she put her the people that are really out there searching for this beautiful child can find her.

NG has not been on the ball lately, I am not sure if the Monkeys have just one-upped her or what, but all the news she is spittin out is old.  I was upset that Mr. Grund was cut off on Monday, and I am not liking that she does not let Padilla speak freely either.

Does anyone think she will go after Casey for an interview? Or is it still too much in the shadows of the Melinda Duckett fiasco?

I have always believed Casey was drugging Caylee when she needed a sitter.  So why would she take her to a party at Fusion instead of drugging her like always?  imo

As for ZG being on NG, she has an attorney to help her defend her innocence and her good name.  She is not taking money for interviews, and has stated she has turned down people who want to pay her. She didn't ask for this 15 minutes of fame- Casey put ZG in the spotlight.  And has pretty much ruined this poor woman's life in the process. 

This is only an arraignment.  She already pleaded by written notice, so she does not have to attend this arraignment.  The next court date she will have to attend.

Welcome Osucowboy.  I am guessing if this is true, that will come out in court.  This was the first I heard of it.

Welcome Cowboy!  You raise a very valid point.  I would think maybe she ran out of her stash and was waiting on more supply?  With Casey anything is possible.  Quite possibly it would be compromising for her to put Caylee "with the nanny" that night due to time restrictions, having to bring Caylee so the nanny looks real by having to "take a night off"...not sure, but again good question.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Casey Anthony is the first -- and so far only -- person to be called a suspect in her daughter Caylee’s disappearance, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office told WESH 2 News on Wednesday.

She is the only one who can lead investigators to the truth about what happened to Caylee, who has been missing for 79 days, an agency spokesman said.

Until now, investigators did not call Casey Anthony a suspect, usually calling her a “person of interest.”

But Capt. Angelo Nieves of the sheriff’s office said Casey Anthony is a suspect because of the evidence the agency has received from the FBI indicating that Caylee’s body was in her mother car. He also said she has repeatedly lied to investigators.

“Well, she was the last person to person to see her daughter, and we are continuing to follow up on this information, and granted she would be a suspect,” Nieves said.

Casey Anthony is out on bond on a variety of charges, from child neglect to check fraud. She initially told investigators her daughter was last with a babysitter.

Attorney Jose Baez, Casey Anthony’s attorney, said it doesn’t make a difference whether investigators call her a “person of interest” or a “suspect.” He declined a request for a further interview.

Us monkeys are much more up on this case than the rest of the viewing public.  If NG would bring her entire audience up to speed she would not have much for future shows.  A little at a time works for her show.

CA would never appear on the show.  Baez would never allow it.  Can you imagine the things that would come out of her mouth

I did not even think of the attention she would get having Caylee around.  It would be sort of like how men take babies and puppies to the park.  (Well the perverted kind..LOL) 
She listed her preference as Bi, so Caylee would help attract both men and women alike.  Tony did say that people liked to be around Caylee as she is a cool kid!

TES had hundreds of volunteers on the ground eager to search for Caylee and Cindy got out there and told TES to go home.

This is good news! Baez says it "doesn't matter", but it oh so does. LE is starting to ramp up and they are tightening the screws. It's just a matter of time now... hopefully sooner rather than later.

Ok, so everyone here knows about my sister and i will share what i saw .  My sister's body laid on the ground for between 7 - 12 days before she was found.  I went to area afterward and there was a very dark black stain of her body on the ground.  Like you could tell it was her body.  I could even see black stain of her arms and legs.(sorry for being gross, but it is ok for me to talk about. It doesn't bother me).  The coroner would not let me see her body and told me when a body lays in severe heat for that period of time, the clothes become part of the body, so that everything that is on her has to stay with her.  I can tell you more if you want to know, but i dont want to gross anyone out.
My point is.......can you be more specific where you are seeing a stain on the ground???  I dont see it.  Also, the stain in the trunk they talk about must be from Caylee's body.  I dont know why a body leaves a black mark.

I don't see a stain in the mulch, just darker in color just above the guy's head that's on the right in the bottom pic, sorry, don't have the pic now. I know for me, when my mulch looks dry on top, I'll go rake it to get the underside up because I prefer it darker so to me, that mulch in that pic looks disturbed, there is also a guy just above him, more in the bushes with a shovel, it's possible they found something there because I've seen a pic of a woman officer up in the woods and she's holding something, looking at it, I just can't figure out what it is, here's the link for that. Also, this is wierd but I always see faces in cases like this in pictures, look to the man on the left, then right about where his hand is on his hip, follow it to the right, between him and that white line in the pic I see a face, 2 eyes, nose, lips, very eerie, even seems to have a circle around it.

The only thing in movies and TV they have resolution in say a couple of hours or episodes. Hollywood makes real life seem way too slow.

Well, isn't it horrible enough that Caylee could have been killed accidently and the family reacted the only way they knew how, which in our eyes was deporable but to them was completly normal. I have a girfriend that when she tells a story about a mouse getting in her room, she screams, throws up her hands, rolls her eyes, you would think it was a ZEBRA......and she's a doctor!!!  Im just saying why do we add to the story- things like incest, etc.......

Hi - another new monkey jumping in the cage for a second. Just wanted to add my two cents...

I think Casey takes things from real life and uses them later for lies. Like maybe she did hit a squirrel near June 5 and decided it made a good lie for later in the month. And she did run out of gas the first time and that made it a more believable lie the following week at Amscott. She did have a job at one time and used those experiences to lie about still working.

I think Lee suggested the family to stay away from the lie detector test because maybe he's heard the same rumor I've heard - that if you feel somewhat responsible for what happened, you will show up as lying about being involved. For example, if Cindy feels guilty that Casey left with Caylee after their choking incident, when asked if she is involved in the disappearance of Caylee and she says "no" - the lie detector would show that she's lying. I'm sure they would ask other questions to clarify, but then the dirty laundry gets aired.

I think the reason everyone sounds rehearsed in the tapes is because most of them had already told their story at least once before taping. For example, George had already described the clothes Casey and Caylee were wearing on the 16th to FBI. It also seemed to me that LE was encouraging Lee and Jesse to do their own "investigating".

I think that JP is the father of Caylee and she is NOT the result of incest. However, I do think that Jesse was hinting at past abuses that Casey endured at home. Could have been verbal or physical. I don't have the transcript in front of me, so I can't really tell you his exact phrase that sparked that thought. And I kind of think it won't really matter what she told him because she's already proved herself to be a skilled liar. Maybe she lied about abuse in her past.

Whew. Had to get that off my chest! This is all my opinion and it doesn't mean too much as I have no experience in law enforcement! Just a mom who wants justice for a precious little girl who is an innocent victim.

I just read some of the Prarie Chicken timeline.  I didnt realize the coincidence in ZG looking at Sawgrass on the 17th AND Tony looking for a new place to live.  Interesting.

Whats more interesting is that I read somewhere that ZG was googled months ago by Casey.  What are the changes of her googling that name AND then the same person showing up to look at an apartment that is the alleged residence of someone with that name?  strange.

The Prarie website says the workers swear that the customer ZG was definitely Latino and was not Casey. 

This piece of the puzzle has me, well...puzzled!  Anyone have any guesses on whats going on with this piece?  TIA

A parting thought before I head out for today....

I have known people that have grown up in abusive situations (sexual and otherwise) and they have exhibited very similar traits to what we see from KC. Her altered belief in the truth, her overwhelming need for ANY kind of attention, her sexual escapades, and her seeming inability to truly connect with real people (living on the internet). I not trying to defend ANY actions that she may or may have not been responsible for. It's just sad if she had to grow up suffering through something like that...... it's sad that ANYONE would have to grow up like that.

Above contains my comments in blue.  These creatures are spewing 95% LIES.  They had plenty of time to prepare themselves to deal with LE.  None of the actions make any sense, it is misdirection much like was practiced on Aruba.  Deny, deny, deny.  Religious, mother of the year, close family, takes the definition of dysfunction to a different level, wouldn't you agree?  Also believe that it is necessary to understand that we can never really understand what is being seen in this case as none of us have these characteristics for we possess integrity, respect for people, pride, love, disdain for evil.  This group sees people like us & in LE as suckers, that they can win their way with.

The only reason GA comes across with some truth to OCSO is he knows they have knowledge that he has to take into consideration so he throws them some bones to fool them into believing that he is being straightforward with them.  The only thing straightforward about GA is the part in his hair & the crease in his pants.

3:21 p.m.: Casey Anthony's arraignment for check fraud -- initially set for Thursday -- has been rescheduled for Oct. 14 before Judge Stan Strickland.

Her attorney, Jose Baez, has already filed a written plea of not guilty on the check fraud charges. That means neither she nor her attorney will appear in court on Oct. 14 and Strickland will set later pre-trial and trial dates.

Those dates will probably be set for the same days as Anthony's other case for child neglect. So far, prosecutors have charged Anthony with 13 counts, including child neglect and check fraud.

June 27th is the day KC ran out of gas at Amscot, right?  I remember AL saying she called him at noon to come and pick her up, he recalls the time because he had class at 1:00 and was concerned he would be late (please correct me if I am wrong on the times, but that is what I recall him saying).

So in reading thru Amy's texts:
KC sent her a text on the 27th at 11:34 am saying there was definitely a dead animal plastered to her car

KC sent Amy a text on the 27th at 11:49 am saying she ran out of gas.

Thoughts ~ if she texted amy she ran out of gas why didnt she ask amy for a ride home then instead of waiting til noon to call Tony?

She claims someone pushed her into the parking lot - what I got from the tow yard man's he mad it sound like the car was parked "in a stall".  if it was pushed to the lot, how could they have gotten it lined up in a parking stall?

If she ran out of gas, at the time the texts were being sent wouldnt she have been standing in traffic right about then?  I mean its not like it only takes 30 seconds to push a car out of the street, manuver a turn without power stearing, etc.  im guessing that would have taken several minutes, like 10 at least??

So tied in with what out4bull said a little earlier, im thinking O4B is right, the car was never supposed to be part of the story / coverup.

I responded with a comment on that blog today and used my name.  I wanted to tell her that the only a person would believe that Casey did not do something to Caylee would be if they've had their head in a dumpster for the last 49 days.  I tried to be a little nicer about it, in hopes that she'd post my comment, but I know that will never happen.

Just to comment on my previous post regarding GA seeing KC & Caylee on the 16th - I don't  personally believe he deliberately lied......  or even that he didn't see Caylee after June 9th.....However the fact that he mentions that KC said they were going to stay at Zannis that night (16th) makes it too coincidental that the week before (Monday, June 9th), they did, in fact, stay at Ricardos. KCs mo to her mom & dad when she was keepng Caylee out for the entire nightwas that they were "crashing at Zanni's (per Cindy's interview with LE).

I am not following you.  She had to get rid of the car because 1.  it smelled bad and 2. it was supposed to be a kidnapping.  and she just wanted to see Tony instead of Amy, right??????

It is a morbid curiosity of mine as well.  I have always been fascinated with forensic pathology and how the clues are put together.  I actually wanted to go into that field until I found out that the smell of decomp can get into your clothes and hair.  Yuck!

Well it's official, if you're horrible, so are we,lol, I agree, with the others, it a natural curiosity, especially for those of us who share this detective mindset. I used to think I must be the most morbid person having thoughts and curiosities like I do but then along came CSI, City Confidential and all the other shows like it and I realized, I am not alone here.

Maybe it's because I've served on a jury before and we deliberated for 5 days before convicting the guy, but one crazy thought I keep having is that I wonder for how long the jury will have to deliberate in Casey's trial. 

Even just the amount of evidence we've already seen is probably 20 times the evidence we had presented to us.  Considering there's likely lots more that we aren't yet aware of, I'd say it won't take a jury long.  I think the penalty phase will take longer than the first deliberations.

I would take that as an insult to my cooking!   ::MonkeyLaugh::  (It would probably be well deserved, though!)

Hahahahah, Wreck, I was thinking about about I could call the morgue, pretend I was a relative searching for someone, just to see what it was like.......

When I was in high school/first year of college, I seriously considered going into mortuary science. I took a job with a local funeral home in our town. They averaged 4-5 services per week. My job involved helping with "grunt" work, including body pickup. The ones from hospitals, nursing homes, etc. were usually quite easy... Accidents and victims of violence were not so nice, and even worse were the ones where someone died and wasn't found for several days/weeks.... I will never forget the sight or smell of those!

It convinced me that being a mortician wasn't for me. It wasn't worth putting up with that kind of carnage just to drive a big black car!!!  ::MonkeyNoNo::

Umm..I have seen grown men turn green and puke their guts up..it smells like none other...also, its hard to autopsy kids....kids are really hard..
We did one little 10 year old mentally disabled child..he was out playing with his dog and his grandma went in to get him some tea..when she came back out, the chain from the dog was wrapped around his neck..the dog was playing with him and just kept running around him in circles until he asphyxiated..That was a hard day..

And skin slippage isnt pretty either..it just pulls right off....

I love forensics..and actually did a career jump and changed my major..until I realized that I was sad EVERY day..I
just couldnt see death daily....
I had a case once where a teenager that died right out of high school..it was about 2 weeks after graduation...he got a new Vette and his brother wrapped it around a tree  when he took it for a drive....the brother survived (driver) ..the new grad did not...
When my boss looked at me and said, " you know what to do"..I had to unhook all of his tubes....and of course he was dead..only half way looking at me...beat all to heck....and then, his pager went off..one of his freinds looking for him...

Then, i had the task of telling his mother..who's husband had just died...I said right then, "ok...I am done with this"...and even though I will ALWAYS miss it, I cant ever go back..for my peace of mind....

If the car was indeed "out of gas", she probably parked there and let it idle 'till it died.

Just like Jackie Peterson, wouldn't co-operate with Noreen Renier, didn't share the report that Renier with Modesto LE, think it was a sneaker that was sent, iirc.  Noreen Renier came pretty close to where Laci had been placed, imo but of course Peterson murderlover didn't like the conclusion as it definitely pinned the murderer as being the suspect that Modesto LE was pursuing.  I just really hope that Detective Corporal Melich becomes aware of the offer & gets this in the works.

The manager from Amscot said the car was there at 7 am when she came to work yet
Casey didn't call Tony til around noon to come pick her up due to her car running out of gas.  Who brought her back later that morning to that Amscot parking lot?  Didn't she have groceries with her, also?

It is hard to imagine they don't - considering that the evidence released so far is only in regard to charges that have already been filed. I believe that is why the puzzle seems to be missing so many pieces. They have withheld any interviews and evidence that is of more value to possible future charges.

As has been said so many times, there is no hurry to file more serious charges, and they have only one chance at it once those charges are filed. It doesn't make the waiting any easier - especially when that infuriating family continues their huggermuggery <I love that word>....  ::MonkeyConfused::

Gizmo , you brought up a very interesting point. I also have smelled dead bodies.Not ungodly awful. From what I understand it is different if a person has been dead for awhile.

So just because Cindy said it smelled like a dead body had been in the car. That could have just been an exaggeration on her part.I doubt if she had been exposed to a dead person who had been dead for awhile.  I also know I have exaggerated on smells just meaning something really stunk.

Not really a defense of Cindy. I also would like to know where LP got his info about Cindy trying to strangle Casey. If it came from Casey, I would find it highly suspect. JMHO

Okay.....I was thinking about the times that Casey had left messages to friends on MySpace, and I decided to test something out...I live in California and I left a message for my husband's nephew....who lives in New York. I posted the message @ 3:48PM PT....when I looked at his profile the time the comment posted was 2:48 PM! Can some body please explain why this happened, and would that mean that the times Casey's comments were posted would be wrong?

Casey probably made up the story about two guys helping her push her car into the AMSCOT parking lot.  It is one of those little details she loves to include in her lies.  The big question is not how or if she ran out of gas but where the heck she had been that early in the morning when she does not work.

Well, you had me curious about time zones. 

Yesterday, I posted a comment on my husband's myspace.  His page says I posted at 1:39 PM  EST (I'm in the Eastern time zone). Hmm.  just after I commented, I IM'd him and said I'd left a comment.. the times match up.  I can only assume the clock on my computer matched up as well...  :smt102

If MySpace uses your computer's clock to set your time zone, I don't see how these could be off an hour, unless the computer's clock didn't change over- OH!!!!!! You know what? The computer doesn't necessarily know (or does it??) that the time change is off this year?

I'm curious as to what his mother knows.

That still doesn't explain why when I look at his profile the time is one hour behind and when spanky viewed it it was 4 hours ahead of his/her time zone? I checked my clock on my computer and it is correct and on Pacific Time!

Most of us use our cell phone for time, these days.  Can't remember the last time I wore a watch.  I doubt that the text messages we've seen for Casey and her contacts would have the wrong time, especially considering they were all in the same area.  I do know that when we travel to another time zone, however, the cell adjusts.

Honestly, I have no idea about the time zone deal.  ::MonkeyLaugh::  But I do find it very odd, and I think LE should figure it out so they can tidy up their time line, evidence, etc..

The times that show up on websites might not be accurate, but wouldn't there be some way that the exact local time of a post or reply could be determined?  Every individual computer has a clock and so that is where they probably determine exactly when she was online and posting.

Does home confinement mean that Casey isn't allowed to have visitors, other than people like Baez? When the stalker cam was working, we didn't see any of her friends visiting, which would seem odd unless they were prevented for legal reasons.

I'm just throwing this out there..I think it would be easier to get out of there without your child because i ran to may car during my childs party several time.. They never said anything to me..I would think it would be impossible for anyone but the person who brought her to get out with her.

Watching NG..I am surprised no one has ever asked if one of KC's cop boyfirends ran Zanieda's license plate and that is ho9w KC found out who Zaneida was.  I did see anything in that cop's transcript where the detective's asked him that.

Well, that would be my question too. If I had a close friend, and I believed that friend was wrongly accused, I would try to visit and ease the boredom of home confinement. I guess Casey's "friends" aren't all that friendly after all.

Jumping in (although I have oh about 15 pages to catch up on ) but I think that Annie plays a HUGE role in this. I have had this feeling since I read the documents. Also I was on webslueths when Dante was answering questions and he said over and over that Annie never babysat caylee, although now it is said that she did? So there seems to be a few friends in on this. IMO

I recall in the Cindy interviews, Yuri M. said something like "All of those kids that we have talked to are worried about their jobs.  Some of them have been told, concerning the Casey case, If it comes to the job, you are going to be fired."  Some of them may resent what Casey has done to their lives.  One Tony lost his job over her.  The other Tony had his house searched from top to bottom.  Lots of them have had their pictures plastered all over the papers, including some that they never thought would be seen my the public at large.  Jesse has been thrown under the bus.  All are potential witnesses at a trial, so I doubt any of them will be showing up at her house to babysit her.

I STILL am just completely baffled as to WHO CAYLEE WAS WITH when Casey was saying she was with Zanny....I am so bothered by this.....Surely Caylee would have told someone, "mommy leaves me in the trunk" if that was what she did indeed do.. Nikki, I agree that Caylee would have talked well enough to convey if she had been locked in the trunk...but I doubt Casey would have done that without first drugging the child and getting her really fast asleep.  I, too, wonder where she left Caylee at times when she was with her friends but before the child was "missing" and I also wonder where the two of them spent the days that Casey got up and went off to a job that she did not have.  Did she wait until her parents were gone from the house and then double back and spend the day there?  I suppose if one of them came home early and found her there, she could just tell a lie...I got sick or Caylee got sick or I am working at home this afternoon.

Yes, you would have thought they would at least have done some sort of composite sketch.

O.F., many of us have wondered the same thing.  Susan Smith, when she claimed her car had been hijacked with her two kids in it, was asked to provide a description for a police artist and she did.  Of course, there was no carjacker, so her sketch meant nothing, but at least, she went along with the cops and provided one.  We all know Casey could have come up with a description because embellishment is her forte, but perhaps the cops did not ask for one, since they knew that she had lied about everything, or maybe she never offered to do one and neither did her family or her lawyer.  Everybody knows that Zannie does not exist. 

I wonder if Casey named one of Caylee's stuffed animals or dolls Zanny?  That way if say she locked Caylee in the car at night, she could say stay here with Zanny?

Klaas, that's a really great thought. I know one of Caylee's dolls was named "Mama". I always thought she did that so if someone asked who was with you she could answer "mama".

BTW, in her police interview, Cindy said that she thought Zannie had been a real person at one time but now that Zannie was "whoever was babysitting Caylee."  Doesn't that pretty much admit that Zannie is a figment of Casey's imagination?  How many of us know a real person named ... oh, let's say Veronica ... and later we start to call everyone who babysits our child Veronica?  Cindy said that she thought "Zannie" could be either Amy or Jesse.  Hello?  This is Earth calling Cindy...come in, Cindy.  Doesn't it also indicate that Cindy thinks her daughter is downright nuts?

Also, I really believe that for most of Caylee's life she stayed at home in her own bed when Casey went out.  Caylee only recently became a problem/burden when Cindy was threatening to kick Casey out.  Casey left with Caylee to teach Cindy a lesson.

I not only agree with you about Zannie being a figment of Casey's imagination, but I also think it shows how desparately Cindy was trying to divert the attention away from Casey and turn the tables onto someone else, ie Amy or Jesse.

As I said, Susan Smith was asked to give a description to a sketch artist, and she described a kind of generic black man.  It did not really look like anyone in the area, and I don't think they got many tips about it.  I can understand why the police would consider that a waste of time, since Casey had lied to them about everything else.  But you would think that the family might have done it.  I think they never thought of it because they, too, knew that such a person did not exist.  Cindy has pretty much admitted it now.  George knows it, I am sure, and so does Lee.  So it just never occurred to them.  They never even put out a description of her car or her supposed sister.  LOL  It is really just so totally laughable. 

If they  keep blaming everyone except Casey, they will need lots of movie deals to pay off all the civil suits they will have against them

If you were a juror, and you knew nothing at all about this case, and the prosecution told you the following, what would you think?

  1.  Miss Anthony claims that her daughter Caylee had been missing for 31 days before the police were notified.
  2.  Even then, Miss Anthony was not the one who called 911...it was her mother who phoned.
  3.  Miss Anthony abandoned her car, which was impounded.
  4.  The car smelled, according to Miss Anthony herself, her parents, an impound worker and her parents and brother, like "a dead body" or "something that had died."
  5.  Forensics tell us that a hair found in the trunk of the car most likely came from Caylee Anthony's dead body.
  6.  Forensics also tell us, via fluids and air tests, that a cadaver had been in the trunk at some point.
  7.  Miss Anthony, after her child was missing, went to parties, had her nails done, got a tattoo and related to friends in a normal way.

I'd say she's guilty of murder

 8.  Oh, yes, and the person Miss Anthony blames for taking her daughter does not exist.
 9.  Miss Anthony has lied to the police about virtually everything.
10.  Miss Anthony has changed her story about how a mysterious "nanny" took her daughter several times.

My bet is it does matter.  I believe Tony was unaware Casey was using his car.  Another odd thing, she washed his car before he returned on July 5th.  Tony thought that was odd because he rarely washed his own car.

I remember watching tv when this case first aired and I immediately said that girl killed her child.  There was not doubt in my mind.  The defense team would have to really come up with some evidence as to why CA is not guilty and I don't think they could change my mind, although I'm up to looking at what evidence they have.

In the trial I served on, the defense blamed The Banditos, members of the Aryan Nation, and some other prison gang before it was all over.   It was a total mess.

Just means that they have to shut their yapper until the trial is over.  That's my understanding of it, anyway.

It when no-one involved, witnesses, lawyers, defendants are aloud to discuss the case to the media, etc.  I hope they do not order one.

No one associated with the case would be able to speak outside of the courtroom regarding the case.

With all the drop offs and pick ups at the airport, Casey had lot's of opportunity to scope that area.

I suppose the defense can just sit back and say to the prosecution, Prove It.  But he knows that in murder cases, circumstantial evidence can be very compelling.  Very few murders are committed in broad daylight in front of witnesses.  Murders are done under cover of darkness or in a very private place.  There is usually considerable effort to cover up or destroy evidence.  So, many murderers are convicted on circumstantial evidence.  There are tons of circumstantial evidence against Casey, as well as some forensic evidence.  I think they could also establish a motive, though one is not required for conviction.  But it certainly seems that Casey did not want the responsibility of a child and that she and her mother had come to an impasse about who should have Caylee. 

So there you have it.  Casey had Opportunity.  She had a motive.  And much of her behavior, such as the little poem she posted, could point to Consciousness of Guilt.  Even if they never find the body and cannot know how Caylee died, we know that those things are not absolutely necessary. 

As to defense --  I think that he will tell Casey eventually that she is going to have to plea bargain.  If she risks a trial, she may very well end up with the death penalty or life in prison.  He may be able to convince her that a plea deal in which she admits to an accidental death and cover up is the best way to go.

I agree that it would be hard to claim insanity, although her behavior indicates a seriously disturbed person.  I don't think she qualifies as legally insane.  Much of what she has said and done speaks to a very keen awareness of right and wrong, just an indifference to them.

I don't think tossing someone else under the bus will help.  Who else has abandoned a car that smelled of death?  Who else has waited for weeks before even telling anyone Caylee was missing?  Who else had access to the child after Casey left home with her?  And the fact that Casey herself has stuck to the "Zenaida did it" routine for this long seems to negate any chance to pin it on someone else. 

Baez could never put Casey on the stand, and it seems to me, that he will have trouble with her parents and brother, too, since they have contradicted themselves so many times.

Can't you still go to Ace Hardware and get a car key made, unless your driving a Beemer or something with one of those funny built in keys????
