Good Evening Monkeys....Gosh guys your dogs eat better than me....lol I"m just kidding .

Sam's club has a pack of 5 cans chicken breast already cooked. Here it is $10.00 . I use it all the time for Chicken salad and also cook the no yoke egg noodles, add a can of chicken, and a can of cream of Chicken soup and it makes about 4 meals for me .Sam's also has bags of frozen chicken strips . They are not cooked but you get like 3-4 lbs for $8 or so.

JSM' I am so happy to hear that Josef is getting better. He will be back to his sweet evil self in no time. Our school system has had an epidemic of stomach virus' for the last month, Not sure if dogs catch things like that from humans.

  Hi Darla, I didn't realize chicken in a can was so inexpensive. Or the frozen chicken at Sam's. If he must eat chicken, I will go there and get it, much cheaper than Krogers. Not sure if dogs get the same as people, but I didn't even think to ask about me being in the sewer hole on Thursday and that causing Josef getting sick. I doubt that had anything to do with it, because I was in a "bunny suit", but I will ask the vet tomorrow.

They really told me that. But I kept calling. She had baby acne, her whole face had pimples, and I kept calling to find out when that was going to clear up, I was pretty nuts about it. I had never seen a baby with acne before, and it usually happens more to a boy baby, something about hormones. I remember one of the visits, I was going on and on about it, and how horrible it looked and that I was afraid what people might think, that I wasn't washing her properly or not. He says to me just put a paper bag on her when you go out  he obviously was joking with me, but I freaked out.

I am going to go soak in the tub for awhile and try to loosen up this back

It doesn't look good for Chelsea around the San Diego area, I don't have a good feeling about this. Such a lovely, pretty girl, but Darla said something that on the police scanner something may be going on. She wasn't sure if it was about this case, but for her family's sake I sure hope there is some news, the rain hasn't helped matters 

I was trying to listen to the scanner, but I couldn't figure it out. I pray for Chelsea and her family. I hope she is found safe and sound. I understand the jogging aspect, but why jog in the wilderness? I guess girls her age don't understand the world out there is bad. So very sad.

Some of the pics I was looking at of the park looked pretty rough to jog on. But at that age you can tell kids over and over the dangers, and you think that nothing bad will happen to you. I remember not being afraid of stuff, never thinking there could be danger.

I saw some pics of the park, I wouldn't jog there without a dog. What I saw looked very remote.

I never listened to my mom until I read that Ann Rule book about Ted Bundy. Once I read that I always looked over my shoulder and then my friend was murdered and then I didn't go out by myself at night for a long, long time.

JSM....the 5 cans of chicken have 13 oz. in each one. I just checked the bag of strips in my freezer and it was 4 lbs. There are like 30-35 strips in the bag., But I was wrong about the $8 on that one it was $12 . I very seldom buy any meat that has a bone in it b/c you are paying for than bone that you can't eat. But I have tried something a couple of times. If you buy like a 5 lb whole chicken and boil it and take it off the bone you will be lucky to get 1 1/2 lbs of edible meat out of it. So you also paid for 3 1/2 lbs of bones and skin. So you come out cheaper to buy the canned chicken or the frozen strips.That way you are paying for all meat that you can eat.

That makes sense Darla about the bones and all making it more expensive. I would get up and go to the grocery early on Saturday morning and get the day old chicken breasts and boil them up. It got to be too expensive, too much cooking and Joe ended up weighing almost 80 pounds.  Thanks for the info about the canned chicken. I hate taking meat off a cooked chicken. Plus I hate to cook.

I can look back now and go, wow, I was really nuts with the first baby. But I had never even babysat or held a newborn before her, so I didn't know anything really. That baby acne really upset me, it shouldn't have, but it did. He shouldn't have said that but I think he was trying to make me laugh and to show me how silly I must have been.

That's good to know so the next time my husband thinks I should cook up a chicken I'll just tell him in the long run it is cheaper buying the frozen strips.

Some day I am going to Lake Placid and ride on the bobsled thingy. I hate heights and fast stuff, but the bobsled looks like so much fun. As long as I don't have to drive.
