That is nice of you to say, but I am more of someone who likes to "interpret" these tidbits that talented people such as yourself here uncover. I'm not too good at finding these "tidbits"!
I guess where I part ways with many people is in that I have a lot more faith in our FBI and government than most. There are so, so many things that we as normal citizens are not aware of. Luis is/was a Major Drug Trafficker..He's huge!!!! I have been watching the articles for months now on Him and Ochoa..Apparently that line only worked for Lorenzo..When he said the 100+ plants were for personal use. Judging by the amount Joran was smoking..He may be right

OPERATION CREOLE

DEA’s Special Operations Division (SOD), through its Latin American/Caribbean Section (OSL) initiated Operation Creole in September 2000 as part of ongoing efforts to disrupt heroin and cocaine smuggling in the Caribbean. Through the cooperative efforts of DEA, the U.S. Customs Service (USCS), and Aruba law enforcement authorities, a trafficking organization using cruise lines to smuggle illegal narcotics was severely disrupted.
Drug couriers, mostly workers on Carnival Cruise Ships, used secret compartments in the soles of their shoes to smuggle cocaine and heroin into the United States.

In September 2000, USCS officers arrested two individuals with 2.7 kilograms of heroin aboard a Carnival Cruise Line ship. Information obtained as a result of the arrest revealed a major trafficking organization, headed by Hernando Rafael Mercado-Ochoa, operating out of Aruba. In January 2001, personnel from the DEA, USCS, FBI, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and Aruba Politie Organized Crime Unit met in San Juan, Puerto Rico to coordinate the investigation, in part because several of the targets of Operation Creole had been identified in other ongoing operations of DEA and FBI.

Smugglers sometimes use small “bullets” of heroin to transport the drug into the United States.

As the operation continued a number of arrests were made of individuals working aboard Carnival Cruise Lines. These couriers were smuggling heroin and cocaine in hollowed-out areas in the soles of their shoes. Based on these arrests and other investigative leads, Aruba Politie Organized Crime Unit executed the Aruba takedown of Operation Creole on June 29, 2001. The police arrested fifteen people, including the head of the organization, Mercado-Ochoa. Authorities also seized $355,000 U.S. Currency and 2 kilograms of heroin.

The combined efforts of law enforcement during Operation Creole resulted in 34 arrests and the seizure of 29.7 kilograms of heroin, 44 kilograms of cocaine, 1 handgun, and $688,077 in U.S. Currency.

When you think about a good deal of the problems the US faces and those that come directly from SA, you can't help but think something should have been done 30 years ago.

I mean, look at Mexico, it's a total mess and Juarez makes Baghdad look like, well, Baghdad ... NAFTA is one of the biggest mistakes GHWB ever made, and Clinton signed it. I was listening to Bob Barr on the Glenn Beck radio show they other day. You know he's running for President (well, of course you do, you're Monkeys)  Bob Barr is TJ Ward's attorney. He's running as an independent.

anyway, he said and I quote "there is evidence the NAFTA Superhighway is being built." end quote. This means SA to Canada no stop and no check... bad bad bad idea.

That doesn't sound too good especially since some believe the American Dollar is being devalued on purpose to be in line with the pesos. God only knows why I guess.

If something isn't done soon, the 22% of federal inmates being illegal will look like a dream in the rear view mirror.

Judge deals with interception suspects

ORANJESTAD - The court decision late next week or the information obtained through telefoontaps or not permitted as evidence in the case against Effi Tromp and AM Brown. The procesverbaal of Mansur show that he Tromp already know from the moment that Domino operation began. Mansur was earlier launched the smuggling of drugs, in the time that he went bankrupt (2001). Mansur said that Ochoa has been advised that Tromp 'drugsbanden'. Ochoa has also Tromp of drugs, submitted by Mansur. Tromp through Ochoa received money in addition to the drugs to Canada to send. His merits Tromp would have spent on champagne and women, said Mansur's statement.

According to the prosecutor there are several statements that Tromp had a large amount of drugs and illegal firearms. The latter gave the ex-pilot. The weapons were in an airplane left by a passenger and when he has kept for his collection.

I would imagine Ochoa and his partner Luis Mansur are angry as hell for being set up. What retributions have they made against Effi Tromp? I think it's pretty clear Luis Mansur is pointing the finger at him for ratting him out. If you want to dissapear without a trace in Aruba then going against Mercado Ochoa would be a good way to start.

Look's like Luis Mansur went bankrupt in 2001 after his ring was busted. He then worked his way back to being wealthy by doing exactly what he and his brother Jossy were accused of in the late 90's.

Common sense says Karin Janssen knew exactly what she was doing to help cover-up a crime in Aruba.


When one looks over the pattern of her involvement in the Natalee Holloway case, we have to ask did Karin Janssen do a "friend a favor" or purposely buy time for the suspects to rehearse their lies, erase all evidence, change statements, allow some statements to become missing and therefore was she directly involved in a cover-up?

Karin Janssen knew that neither John nor Jones were working as security guards during the time frame that Joran, Deepak and Satish claimed to have dropped Natalee off at the Holiday Inn hotel. She also knew that the descriptions given by Joran, Deepak and Satish of clothing they claimed the "dark skinned" guard wore was not anything remotely close to what Holiday Inn security guards wore. Yet, Karin Janssen ignored these discrepancies and had the security guards arrested claiming she had evidence.

It can be concluded that given all the information Karin Janssen had available to her, the notion that there was good "cause for suspicion" was knowingly false, and the fact that the guards were still pursued, in light of ALE and prosecutors knowing that no drop off ever occurred, suggests collusion between the ALE and Karin Janssen for the sole purpose of denying Natalee's family the truth of what had been inflicted upon their child, and covering up for the real perpetrators: Joran van der Sloot, Deepak Kalpoe, Satish Kalpoe and Paulus van der Sloot.

Prior to their arrest, Karin Janssen did not investigate John and Jones, she knew the three last seen taking Natalee had lied, and yet went forward with their arrest. After which she took yet another curious step by requesting that the attorney representing both the Security Guards, Chris Lejuez, drop Mickey Johns as a client.

Why did Karin Janssen withhold Joran van der Sloot’s statement from the security guards’ attorney claiming it to be irrelevant to his clients, while turning over the Kalpoe brother’s statements when reportedly Joran’s statement contained the same lie?
How was Karin Janssen able to complete the paperwork correctly for the search of the security guards’ residences, but not for the van der Sloot’s home?

Why was this search conducted away from the area the victim, Natalee Holloway was last seen?

These were diversionary tactics utilized by the Aruban Justice Department along with Janssen's statement that "you can't barge in their like cowboys" which was meant to demean American standards while her actions and methodologies were corrupt attempts to protect the suspects by zeroing in on the innocent Security Guards who for 10 days were not in any line-up, only questioned one time, and their alibis ignored.

Karin Janssen and the other Aruban officials continue, even today, along with the bloggers on-line, in planting lies and disrupting forward progress in this case.

The fact that Prosecutor Karin Janssen and polis detectives Dennis Jacobs and Jan van der Straten, all in charge of the investigation, were not pursuing the facts, or the surveillance tapes that demonstrated Natalee never return to the hotel; while ignoring all the contradictions of the statements by Joran and Kalpoe brothers paints a very clear picture indeed. It would seem impossible for any competent professional to come up with the strategical course that Karin Janssen utilized and not realize she was involved in a collusion to cover up these crimes.

Karin Janssen has been a Prosecutor for 12 years and the Chief Prosecutor in Aruba for a year and one half, and she made the choices and procedural errors based upon her experience. Common sense says she knew exactly what she was doing to help cover-up a crime in Aruba.

Her (KJ)answer was that they were waiting on video from the Netherlands, because the questioning of the boys would be included on the video. Never before has a hearing in Aruba on the video. Why that had to happen now, could not be made clear to me. I was against, because the police never previously had included video interviews and had no experience with this method of questioning.

*******, I just check again and do not see an obituary for anyone meeting the description of Juni Tromp(5-31-2005). We have it in the M&C thread and it is referenced, but I think it would be interesting to see if Mr. Jose Trump is listed and a relative or a brother.

I went through Carpe's photos, and the mementomori site. So, he was not taken to mementomori. I matched and compared all the photos around that date.

Do you have access to scan or search awe mainta? or what ever the heck it's called?
