Hi monkeys. Sorry to change the subject, but I have some questions if anyone knows the answers, would appreciate it.

Did Mark and Marlene Purcell get a divorce?  She has herself listed as single on her facebook. Mark must have felt some heat, he now has his facebook so private you can't see anything.

Why does the name Andre Kelly ring a bell to me?

Also South Beach Aruba has a facebook site.  A lot of Vrolijks' on there, along with Aline Hibbert. I guess the partying crowd.

http://www.facebook.com/friends/?id=100000083838470#/profile.php?id=100000083838470

Me thinks he best stay in Aruba...
I don't know ......... maybe he would enjoy a canoeing trip over here.

I know, I bet that would make your and KTFs day.

Maybe Marlene decided it was time to find a real man...on second thought last picture I saw of her was with Charles Croes (not much better imo), I know he's divorced.  He had an incident fairly recently where the police were called in regards to visitation rights irrc.

JMO, but his facebook is probably private because he's posting some really sick chit.  Par for the course.

While searching around for news, I found these interesting.  Texasmom or another may have already posted something similar...not sure, but the mention of divers and dive sights peaked my interest.

Rescuing Aruba’s reefs

The first weekend in July usually signals the beginning of school vacation, beach visits and fun in the sun. But for Castro Perez, public relations executive and eco-tourism manager at the Aruba Tourism Authority, it’s time for work, on the Aruba Reef Care Project.

As a scuba diver, Perez recognised the importance of Aruba’s marine environment and the role it plays in attracting 40,000 divers to the country every year, so he decided to do something to raise awareness. The project is now in its sixteenth consecutive year and is his personal initiative, with the full support of the authority.

In an e-mail interview, Perez said that last year almost the entire coast of Aruba, from the California lighthouse to Baby Beach, was cleaned by over 800 volunteers, ranging in age from four to 80. It’s a two-day undertaking, and volunteers work from 8 am till noon each day, cleaning not just Aruba’s beaches but the reefs that surround them. The collected waste (over four tons in 2008) is then transported to the national garbage disposal facility, with cans and glass separated for recycling.

The project is not limited to beach and reef cleanups, but includes an awareness campaign to protect and preserve the island’s marine environment, with year-round presentations to primary and high schools, the University of Aruba, hotels and service clubs. Recycling is promoted and schools are encouraged to come up with recycling ideas.

One of the long-term goals of the project is to create a marine park system, which will regulate where divers go and monitor the status of the reef, while pinpointing areas that need urgent attention.

Sixteenth Aruba Reef Care Project Takes Place This Week-End

Posted on: 07/02/2009

By CaribMedia

The sixteenth annual island cleanup sponsored by the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) and began years ago by ATA representative Castro Perez and marine biologist Byron Boekhoudt has become an island institution. Each year participation has grown to include schools, church groups, athletic associations as well as individuals concerned with the environment, both island residents and visitors, who like help keep Aruba clean.

This year, Castro was joined by colleague Francis Jacobs and EPI Intern Kimberly Giel in extending an invitation to all interested parties to sign up to help clean Aruba’s beaches and around piers and popular dive areas. The first Reef Care Project was aimed at cleaning up Aruba’s underwater environment, and teams of divers went out to collect bottles, fishing lines and other debris that had accumulated under the sea. Since then, the dive sites have provided less and less refuse each year, so the focus has shifted mostly to Aruba’s many beaches, which still collect quite some trash, and which allows large numbers of non-divers to participate in this effort.

During a press conference at the ATA offices yesterday afternoon, Castro expressed great satisfaction in the number of cleanup efforts now organized annually, which were originally inspired by the example of the ARCP. He also unveiled this year’s souvenir tee shirt, which will be awarded to all participants, and a gift of a care litterbag and a colorful certificate, which can be proudly displayed.

The cleanup will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday mornings, usually finishing around 1:00 p.m., or when the assigned area is done. Every beach on Aruba will be targeted, including the north coast facing the California Lighthouse. Teams will be sent out from there to Arashi, Boca Catalina, Malmok, Hadicurari, Palm Beach, Eagle Beach, Surfside, Mangel Halto, Baby Beach, Pet Cemetery, Grape Field, Boca Grandi and the Bushiri Beach Resort area. John Oster of S.E. Aruba Fly ‘n Dive will organize divers and snorkelers to clean under the water.

Various sponsors have provided box lunches and refreshments, and a slew of prizes are raffled off at the end of the final day at ARCP headquarters in the Neptali Henriquez Park next to Havana Beach Club. Those wishing to participate can sign up with the ATA by calling +297 582 3777 or by e-mailing c.perez@aruba.com, fjacobs@aruba.com or stage.pr@aruba.com.

In closing, Castro urged all those who care to see a clean Aruba to join the two- day effort, and extended his thanks for those who annually sponsor the effort, including Monk NV, who donates the bins, Total Cleaning Services, who donate garbage bags, SERLIMAR and SETAR N.V., which provides communication equipment. Box lunches are being provided by Amsterdam Manor, Aruba Surfside Marina, Brickell Bay Resort, Casa del Mar Beach Club, La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club, Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa, Marriott Aruba Resort & Stellaris Casino, Playa Linda Beach Resort, Talk of the Town Hotel, Occidental Grand Aruba Hotel, Burger King, The Mill Resort, and RIU Palace. Raffle prizes have been donated by Mulligan’s and Windows on Aruba restaurants, Atlantis Submarine, Tiara Air, Sea Breeze Restaurant in the Holiday Inn, El Gaucho Restaurant, S.E. Aruba Fly ‘n Dive, Butterfly Farm, Casa del Mar, TGI Friday’s, Holiday Inn, American Home Assurance, and SETAR N.V.

I meant to thank you for this post the other day, 2NJ.  I read it a couple of times, and went of on a tangent, I think.

It makes me cringe to think who all could have gone down to that cage during those two weeks.

Our quote stack is a hot mess, 2NJ!  I read your article and a post about it from Texasmom too, I think.  Made me wonder who "AB" was?

On that post where he threatened to burn Klaas' and Kermit's house he said that the
Monkeys had a terrible effect on his family like.  I wondered then if he had gotten a divorce.
Just like him to blame everybody else for his shortcomings.

Someone please stop me......

Too late!

Wasn't that his wife's explanation for his drug needs?

 Monkey Devil!   I refrained........but had a thought.

Hey, it's not like we said it!

Good point.  Will we ever know who AB was/is?

I'm sorry about the quote mess.  I looked at it a few times and couldn't figure out how to fix it.  Guess I'm not an expert.....YET.

And if Texasmom posted something about it, I'm not surprised....she's on top of the news every day, and I'm not reading ALL when I think I am.

You are on a roll, Wreck!  Keep it up!

OK.Maggie set this one up nicely....

And were rolling, rolling, rolling on the river
Listen to the story

I left a good job in the city
Working for the man every night and day
And I never lost one minute of sleeping
Worrying bout the way things might have been

Big wheel keep on turning
Proud mary keep on burning
And were rolling, rolling
Rolling on the river

It has been a while for me... (Major Knee Reconstructive Surgery). Ouch !!!

Looks like not too much has changed...

The crime was fairly simple...
The cover-up has been never-ending...
Totals: Crime(4hrs). Cover-up(4years and counting).

Aruba did not expect the relentlessness of this family. The security guards almost got framed. Aruba thought it could wipe this under the rug. Once the international media got hold of it, though, their goose became cooked.

I like this theory (of course, plus or minus some details):
*PVDS/JVDS at casino with NH and friends.
*J2K arrive about an hour before close of CnC
*Bartender spiked alcoholic drink served to NH, compliments of JVDS
*J2K use a taxi driver scheme
*J2K drive around, drug begins to take full effect
*Secluded, non-tourist spot reached (rock scene?) or SlootHome
*Sexual assault / NH expires (in 2K vehicle/at SlootHome).
*Panic. PVDS immediately takes over.
*Alibis. Online chats, porn site downloads, etc..
*Break-in at Fisherman's huts. Withdrawl from PVDS account.
*Body is temporarily hidden. Heavy, Messy Body.
*630AM call. A long night for J2K and PVDS. No school / no work.
*10AM - Paulus - long line at CMB. Meeting with Jacobs / Straaten.
*Then, poolside meeting. PVDS / J2K. No Body, No Case.
*3PM - Paulus. CMB Bank. Meeting with CCroes?
*5-8PM Racquet Club / Gym Bag / Tennis Instructions. Bag of Evidence and meeting with Gottenbos (The Boat). Disposal at Sea...
*830PM PVDS searching "Drugs+Alcohol on Internet. JVDS "out in public"
*1000PM Heads up given to PVDS. PVDS informs J2K.
*Group arrives, wild gooses around island. Game has already been fixed.
*DK,JVDS,PVDS talk to Jacobs/VanderStraaten and re-group from wild night.
*DK car at Bubali. (BHT sees car at 8AM and 1230PM unmoved behind station). Needs cleaning. Forensics not done until 6/9.
*Disinformation campaign in full force. Designed to confuse and mislead - Cloud waters with wild rumors.
*Arrest of security guards. Major international media attention. Next, a 10 day "surveillance" period. Working, behind scenes, for 10 days hard-core. Aruba can stall no longer and must arrest J2K.
*Clean-up crews employed. Disinformation campaign continues and never stops.
*Aruban reporters: Arlene, Tito, Ruben - "Aruba justice this, Aruba justice that"
*Mockery interrogations. Unexplainable ALE behavior.
*Blocked assistance by other outside accredited international agencies. Easier to cover.
*Aruba gets feeling hurt by threat(s) of boycott.
*Becomes an "Us" vs. "Them" game. Aruba, as a whole, clams up and unites.
*Network expands. Government, ATA, AHATA, Whole Country vow to do the same.
*Tourism allows a lot of underground business to flourish. Real money enables Illegal Money.

Disinformation…Use your imagination: party at LVR, chat sessions online, bloody bathtub, catch the bus or not, go to school or not, Freddy camera, muddy JVDS, fresh concrete at Sloot home, school headmaster, furniture delivery truck at Sloot home, blocked Sloot search, weak interrogations, blood to chocolate in DK car, switched DK car, rumored sex parties (JM,JR, and other elders), CAPS, SHango, Simian, Clyde Burke, VanderStraaten, Jossy, Schippers, Renfro, Judges, Dompig, Jansen, Mos, Richardson, Jacobs, Oduber, Croes,, Posner, growing suspect lists - VanCromvoirt, SCroes, Guido, Koen, Freddy, Max(es), LVR, mysterious necktie death, Harley guy found dead, natural bridge goes down, bloody mattress, CharlesCroes and his phone connections, and on and on - too many to name. The bigger the cloud, the more ambiguous it becomes.

About Jossy…He is a double agent. No doubt about it for me. Let me clarify (briefly)...
I am certain he sees the grief caused unto the Holloway family. Therefore, he has helped them along the way and probably has good intentions. However, he lives in Aruba. He is connected to Aruba. His longtime residency has allowed him to know the good and the bad. The island is too small and he is too large to be involved. Of course he knows what happened, but unfortunately, has chosen not to place himself at the center. He is smart enough not to snitch on his associates. Dogs never shit where they eat. A corny, yet true, adage. Not to single out Jossy, b/c there are others who fit this bill.

About the ocean search…A trap was stolen from the huts. Joran admitted to a disposal at sea (whether you believe him or not). Persistence came to Aruba to search for a cage in the ocean with possible NH remains. They indeed accomplished their mission by locating it. Kyle, Tim Miller both said (based off their expertise) that human remains appeared to be inside the cage. Certain (unwanted) members were removed from the vessel and deemed liabilities.
Suspected shady characters are aboard the Persistence, including HansMos. CAPSLOCKWIZARD appeared and began a disinformation campaign. (In hindsight, CAPSLOCKWIZARD was proved to be full of shit). ALE arrived in a smaller boat, dove the cage, recovered its contents, and left the scene. The trap was deemed to be irrelevant.
Why wouldn't the ALE divers bring the trap aboard the Persistence for all to see? They contained questionable items and zip lock bags in a cage. Then, ROV images leaked to the net. It surely was not hermit crabs sealed in sandwich baggies. No one has ever cared to clarify the (possible) misunderstanding.
