      Good Idea 4 Donks. I need all the monkeys behind me, this woman is really ugly always to me. She hated Josef  So she has always been rude to me. She was so mean when I gave her the cough medicine, asked me if the doctor knew I was giving it to Patton, I said yes he told me to and bring some up to the hospital, the she asked really rude "is he on Doxy" I said yes but that I didn't have it we didn't know he would get treatment today or I would have brought it but the vet said they would take it out of hospital stock. She then asked "HOW much do you GIVE him"? I said with the syringe, three. She had the cup off the cough medicine and said "OH SO YOU DONT LET HIM DRINK OUT OF THIS" I was like WTH, you are a tech, you know that it is hard enough to get them to take it with a syringe.

Then when I went into the isolation room to see Patton, he was drooling and the lady with me said she would go get that tech, I though NOOOOO.. Thankfully the head tech that I talked to yesterday about the food was the one that was with the vet when he got the injection came in and said it is normal for him to be loopy and drooling. She was so sweet talked to me and told me what they would be giving him, pain meds and predinisone (she said she hopes it doesn't affect Patton like it did Josef). Thankfully there is only one mean tech there and I think I am going to talk to my friend about it tomorrow if she is there. If she treats me like this, being a long time client that has paid loads of money to the clinic, how does she treat walk in clients?

Sorry for the rant, just needed to get this off my chest.

Fire up the Jet, get Trimm and you all come down for and help me with whooping up on that mean lady. If she is mean to humans, how does she treat the animals is my question.  

That would be my concern too JSM.  I would think they wouldn't want people with her desposition working there and possibly ruining all their hard work and gentle care.

That is my concern too Sister. All the rest of the techs are wonderful, I just wonder if this one hates me and is only rude to me or other clients as well.

Whew, caught up finally.

Got some good news today from the vet. They do have a secret stash of Immiticide, so Patton starts his first heartworm treatment today He has to stay at the vet 24 hours, so I will pick him up tomorrow. Please keep him in your prayers. I am going to be a basket case until the treatments are completed. Thankfully he is a calm dog, so I don't have to worry about keep him calm and still since they can't run around and be active. Poor little thing, stuck in a cage when I just got him out of the cage. I hope he knows it is for his own good. I am going to miss him tonight.

Poor baby boy. Can't wait to see him on 1/21.  A ready made family of four in 33 more days!!!

 Morning Monkeys... I have a doctor's appointment at 10, no food and only black coffee so they can do stupid blood work. Had to hide my diet cokes in the back of the fridge and drink water when I was getting ready. Then lunch with my sister, mom and aunt for my aunt's birthday. Then Christmas shopping, gonna be very frugal this year as I have a sick baby to look after. Oh well, Christmas isn't about the presents anyways. Have a good day monkeys

Hope today is warm and blessed for all of you.

I want to jump on board the Monkey Jet to open a can of whoop azz on that vet tech too!!  There is no place for attitudes like that when one is in a service type industry.  He/she should go find some career where there is no human interaction.

Reminds me when Cad, the Criminal, was poisoned and it was touch and go for her  They said it might be a good idea for me to come visit her during her treatments to help soothe her.   When I got there the tech was standoffish and told me that "you have NO idea what we have had to put up with trying to treat her."  (Actually I did - I tried to tell them she was a criminal and would bite.)  Eventually her attitude made me cry and I asked her if she was trying to tell me to take my dog somewhere else.  She started back peddling then.  I was pizzed.  I did take Cad home for the night and was to bring her back in the am.  This tech told me when I brought her back, to have her muzzle on.  Hubs was mad and said that we would not - they could do that.  Anyway, I had a few words with the vet when Cad was released about the tech's attutude.  I don't know if she is still there or not.

But get this, when I was leaving that day with Cad, she had the nerve to follow me out to my car and give me her card and told me she did dog sitting in people's homes!!!!  Like I would have hired her to come keep the Criminal???

Sorry for the rant, especially at this time of the year.  I know Patton is going to thrive in his new home.

Thanks monks for all the prayers.  It has been a long holiday season for me and I enjoy just coming here to escape reality.

OMG, I can't believe you had a tech that acted so ugly and mean about Criminal when you had already told her about his behavior. I don't know why some of them act that way. I'm glad you had words with the vet once Cad was released, I'm afraid to say anything right now because Patton will be in isolation at the clinic and will have another injection so I don't want to rock the boat. I can't believe she had the nerve to ask if you wanted her to pet sit. What would she do, muzzle the criminal all day???

Prayers for you and the family. I know it has been hard for you and I am glad you come here to escape reality.
