Two other things I thought were interesting:

1.  They showed the map with the triangulation...
2.  They did NOT show any pond scenes, pond witness, panty-boy, etc.

YES, the predator profile map.  I was surprised to see that!

So it's the mom's fault if they maintain a dangerous island. There, Renfro has finally told the truth! Tourists are at fault who visit her island for they "decided" to go swim with the sharks by just visiting there as tourists.

See, the US how the powers in Aruba really feel about our tourism?

Funny, you mean it's not Aruba's duty to protect tourists who come to their Island?

If Aruba had actually abide by their own laws and not allowed JVDS in a casino and a bar, as Joran was under age, none of this would have ever happened. JVDS would never have met the Mountainbrook teens.

It was not the Alabama kids who were underage, it was Joran. Thus, because Aruba did not follow their own laws that they have in place, they are the ones who endangered tourists.

How come no one ever answers to the fact that underage kids (Arubans/Dutch) are allowed in establishments where by law they had no right to be?

Exactly!!!

Natalee's family should have a foundation to file a lawsuit against both the Excellsior and Carlos and Charlies for allowing the "chain of events" to unfold which led to the demise of their daughter..

You know, if Joran had never been there, not been allowed in there, because he’s underage and wasn’t accompanied by his father, the whole rest of the night wouldn’t have happened.

KELLY: Well, he’s just claiming that, you know, he’s kept an eye on his son, you know, he’s kept him on a short leash, and, you know, his son is very well-behaved. Dana: One thing that makes my listeners scratch their heads so to speak and wonder, myself included and we'll talk about it again, is the fact of the underage drinking and gambling that had been going on admittedly by young van der Sloot.  Was there ever any discussion or has there ever been any discussion at least of filing some charges as far as that goes?

Jossy:  No, there hasn't been any of that. The authorities have just (inaudible) it aside, they haven't paid any attention to it then and they're not paying any attention to it now and over the past 26 months.    I haven't seen anything in the direction of trying to make some kind of statement that this is not (inaudiable) at least make some sort of a statement that this is not (inaubible) because it is a known fact that as an underage he wasn't supposed to be in the casino, much less in the company of his father. He was there, there are video tapes to prove that and still the authorities haven't done anything with regard to that specific case.

Not only is Aruba saying they have no responsibility to protect tourist but that when something happens they will blame you for being there in the first place.

Isn't that always the criminal mentality?  The victim shouldn't have been there where I could get to them?

But I have never seen that mindset the official stance by an entire government before.  At least not one of Western civilization standards.  It's really a very primitive and barbaric way to view things, survival of the fittest and law of the jungle.

They sure don't post that line of thought on the tourist brochures.
All the rest of the kids returned just fine.  Only the one who crossed paths with Joran van der Sloot did not.

I particularly liked the scene where Jug told Dave they should just go beat the truth of of urine....

Sleuth nothing I said indicated that I did not think there was a cover up by Joran.  I think he was covering up from the git go! I am sorry if I indicated other.  I think LE knew what Joran had done and they covered it up.

I thought the movie did a good job of showing Natalee's interaction with the other MB kids and what good friends they were.  This is contrary to the claims of some made about all of that.

Also the Patrick tapes were after Beth's book and she included that in the beginning and the end.
