Yes, I don't think B'ham has even had snow in maybe five years?  Can't remember.  But think this is a lot for this area all across Alabama.  For sure we can't drive in it, at least not well.

It's definetly her. She was shaking her ugly head on camera when they said Julia needs the Van Der Sloots at the end of the video. I guess Julia won't be involved in her documentary  If I was you Julia,I would tell all you know and Flee Aruba before you are the first Arubacide of 2008. This is the most unbelievable case of the century!  You couldn't make up these people being so evil, cruel and moneyhungry.  Briesen could also say "well, it's happened 20 times before, and no one made this much of a fuss."  Meaning there have been many suspicious deaths, and nothing has been done about them.  They tricked the grieving families just like they tricked the Holloways.  Going as far as making up false documents, false witness against the family and protecting  the criminals.  Unbelievable.  And the room rates are so high!!  Why would one spend so much to go there??  I wish our government would do  something.  I agree with CBB, we should organize some type of campaign.  Most people do not know all the ins and outs of this investigation.  They know only the sound bites on shows like Greta, which are so terribly misleading.   

God Bless the people on Pesistence.  You have our deepest respect  and admiration.  I pray every day that it will be  the crew of Persistance that  brings Natalee home to her parents.

Competition Among Caribbean Islands Has Never Been So Aggressive

ORANJESTAD-The new Director of Aruba Hotel And Tourism Association
(AHATA), Rob Smith wants to create a tourism fund in the short run. The
fund should count on the participation of both the hotel sector and the
public sector.

Smith calls it a "super marketing fund". All the money deposited in the
fund will be spent on marketing Aruba abroad. Smith says that the hotels
member to AHATA are willing to raise the tourism tax by 1 percent to
help finance the fund.

The raise of 1 percent in tourism tax could lead to a slight increase in
room-rates at hotels that participate in the fund.

The government of Aruba allocates close to 10 million dollars annually to
promote the island abroad through Aruba Tourism Authority. AHATA is
an independent tourism organization in which its members (majority of
the hotels) pay a membership fee. That money is used to market the
member hotels and the island abroad.

With the prospect of an additional fund more money will be allocated for
marketing the island abroad. The need of more marketing money is
essential for the well being of the tourism industry in Aruba, as the island
is facing increase fierce competition from other islands in the region.
Aruba is viewed as very strong competitor in the region.
