I'm so mixed up with all this health care talk  I think it is deliberate that people have a hard time understanding.

No Rose it is deliberate. These freaks haven't even READ the d*mn bill, they just want to push it through. Tonight O will say we (you and I) won't lose our insurance coverage, blah, blah blah. He will say what he wants us to hear and people to believe. His disapproval rating on healthcare I believe is at 52% right now. He is going down hill fast and I hope he slides even further. Not with just healthcare, the bailouts, etc, he has now changed the Rule of Engagement for our military in Afghanistan and it is getting our guys killed. Had they stayed as they were, many more would be alive today. That is why I hate that man. He is the "commander" in chief. A true Commander would give our guys a way to WIN a war. JMO JSM

Now I am walking Josef and taking the magical cough medicine. I have decided that I "may" quit smoking. If so, I will be the fattest figure skater you have ever seen in your life.  Maybe I can be on tv "ELEPHANTS ON ICE" 

I'm drinking my magical peppermint tea for my stomach, I have considered stopping smoking, and that is as far as I get  I suppose we should stop, but it is scary to think about it.

I hope you are feeling better No Rose. My mom also says that I wouldn't have gut trouble if I quit smoking.  I would also look be one of those people that they have to carve out the door to get them out of the house when the ambulance comes.

I will think about quitting tomorrow. 

Tomorrow is good. I understand what you said in your last post. The last time I was in the hospital the lady in the next bed was very sick with some urinary infection, they had no insurance, and when the lady came to discuss payments it was awful, I was so embarrassed and upset for these people. I thought that before she would leave them alone they were going to have to hand over one of their kids for payment 

No Rose that happens all the time at hospitals I hate to say. BUT there are loads of hospitals that will work with a person, get them help with funding for treatments by the drug companies, give them payment plans, etc.

Heck, we will take payments for 5.00 a month if that is all you can afford.

I wonder if the lawyers in Congress would do the same for their clients.  JMO JSM

OMG!!! Hillary was just KISSING O. I thought for a minute she was going to start french kissing him.   

Plus he is used to kissing MANLY women. It wouldn't be anything new to him.

He77 no!!!!! They won't help all their constiuents. And by dam*ed, I bet they want that paycheck deposited regularly for their Congresssional job, and would have a fit if they missed one.

Yep, but the mainstream will never cover that. Just like he stumbled over the name Barrack HUSSEIN Obama, when he was taking the oath of office on live tv. He almost couldn't say it, and had to start all over. Nobody on the media ever repeated it.

That is very sad, but can I ask was it a private hospital or a not for "profit"?

Anyways, if you can't pay, you can't pay and there are ways to get help and they are NOT from the goverment.

My BFF had breast cancer, she had insurance, but a lot of stuff wasn't covered or would have been very expensive. The drug companies helped out as did the hospital and she was out very little. Drug companies get a very bad rap, but they will come through for you if you just ask. JSM JSM
