Seeing that indictment gives me great pleasure. It's not an indictment for Natalee's murder....but for now, it will do.

I am sure that Al Capone's victim's families felt the same way.  Being in prison for the wrong crime is better than not being in prison at all.

Maybe things can be arranged where Joran can be sent to B'ham to face these proceedings while he is awaiting his Peruvian trial ..

Peru has made it clear nobody can have him until the trial is over and he's served his time in Peru.  I don't blame Peru.

You're right, of course ... I was just wishing ... lol -- Would love to see him here just to have him face charges & then sent back to Peru to await his trial ...serve his Peruvian time...and then return here.

He might one day wind up here. FBI has admitted that they are working on a murder case against him. It will be interesting to see how the chess game plays out.

I, like Rob, want him dead. DEAD, AND I mean DEAD as in REALLY DEAD.

Ice pick in the ear, swa? I am just tossing ideas out there. Feel free to improvise.

Before the icepick surgery, I want him to spill all of the beans.. Also, for some reason, I think he really has always been terrified of Alabama, which is why it would be a kick to have him here briefly, in FBI custody & in a B'ham facility.   And Jug could visit ..lol... he would freak out;  Then, back to Peru for your icepick procedure. lol

Edward and ALL -

I have made a post in Computer tools to help everyone out. This has nothing to do with the server traffic, but will help your system. I added two tools that will help you if your system is running slow due to all the video and text you are absorbing. I use these tools and I highly recommend them. I hope this helps those that are having some issues.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever wondered why the FBI hasn't ever tried a sting on the Kalpoe's? It just seems to me that somehow a deal or somthing could be made in order to get them to sing like birds and spill everything they know.Just thoughts..

You have to have a reason for a "sting" and if they are clean and without any reason the FBI can get them inside the USA, they cannot.  They did this only because it was international and had the cooperation of Aruba.  It is not as easy as it sounds.  Maybe we could just send Dog the bounty hunter after the kowpoos.

Maybe that's why they don't want to come to the States for their depositions-could be they're afraid of that very thing & that's the real reason they are a no-show.

I hope I am wrong but ... somehow I believe that following his trial Joran van der Sloot will be afforded extradition to Dutch or Aruban soil.

Holland/Aruba cannot chance that Joran will talk ... talk and reveal all the dynamics encompassing the Natalee Holloway case.  The motivating force will be the big bucks that media sources are willing to pay ... big bucks that will afford Joran van der Sloot both protection and comfort in a Peruvian lockup.

IMO

Holloway Suspect's Peru Detention Extended
Published June 07, 2010

Peruvian President Alan Garcia told reporters Friday that van der Sloot would have to be tried in Flores' death before any extradition request could be considered.

The following comment reflects the words in an email response I received from a Peruvian pastor whose ministry is support with a pledge each month from our church.  Apparently bribery at ALL levels of the Peruvian administration is where it is at.

People, he will never be in a prison like this, aren't you smart enough to know this? MONEY talks over there. The warden, guards are ALL corrupt and if an inmate pays them, he will be fine. He will pay to have his own cell, pay for guard protection, for decent food, etc. That's how it works. He seems to be such a mama's boy and gets whatever he wants, so I highly doubt mama is gonna let him be raped or poisoned in prison. No such luck. Where he is at right now, in his own cell near the director's office it said. Only 2 others are celled along there also, one a wealthy Columbian drug lord and the other was a wealthy banker. They pay money to survive and live as decent as possible. If you can't afford it, you ARE screwed.

Businessman Ricardo Flores asked if the Dutchman impartiality Joran van der Sloot

Lima (Peru.com) .- The employer Ricardo Flores called for fairness and transparency in judging Joran Dutchman van der Sloot, who is accused of murdering Stephany Flores, a process which is being held at the Miguel Castro Castro.

One month of the death of his daughter, Ricardo Flores asked to apply the full weight of the law to punish the death of his daughter, and said that although it has begun to feel their absence, is confident that his spirit is with him and his family.

He explained he lost contact with the family of Natalie Holloway, whose murder is attributed to the Dutchman, considering that happened to other judicial body in which no interference.

Moreover, Flores asked parents who fail to reflect the same situation as he lived it.

Ricardo Flores gave his demonstration for two hours before Judge Carlos Morales Cordova, in the framework that follows the Dutchman for this crime with which he hopes can elucidate this case.

Van der Sloot indicted in Alabama for extortion

(AP) – 2 hours ago

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Dutchman Joran van der Sloot has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Alabama on charges he tried to extort $250,000 from the mother of a teenager who disappeared during a trip to Aruba.

U.S. Attorney Joyce White Vance said van der Sloot was indicted Wednesday in Birmingham on charges of wire fraud and extortion for soliciting money from Beth Holloway in exchange for information on where her daughter, Natalee Holloway, was buried.

Van der Sloot has been a suspect since Natalee Holloway, 18 at the time, disappeared while on a graduation trip to Aruba in 2005.

Van der Sloot is in prison in Peru, charged with murder in the May 30 death of a 21-year-old Lima student he met while playing poker in a casino.

Joran van der Sloot's depressed
The lawyer of the alleged murderer of Stephany Flores said his plan is to halt the proceedings against his client.
His lawyer claims that he is alone and depressed.

In an interview on CNN, Maximum Highness, said it plans to stop any process and appeal any decision that goes against van der Sloot.

Also admitted that the Dutchman is depressed because he is alone and no family member to go to visit the Castro Castro prison.

Highness, said his client's rights were violated, which the judge has dismissed the call for free any of Joran. So is planning to reach the Supreme Court to appeal the process.
