Monks, yesterday morning my MacBook blew up on me, so I've had to resort to borrowing hubby's turtle-puter. I'ts painfully slow, but I had to check in on everyone. Can't access jack (FB, school account) and all my schoolwork is on my computr.

But: brandi, don't shovel, just let it melt. JSM, eat some yogurt with live cultures. EVeryone in t stomr, it wil melt. Be well! I may be bavck later, it sucks to have to share a puter again, reminds me of the old days. Although it is very nice of hubby to let me hijack his equipment!!

  I'm sorry your puter blew up Tevye. I hope you can get it fixed. I hope you are feeling well today.

Hi No Rose, It was fun. My stomach hurts I think because of the antibiotics. I wasn't much company, but it was fun.

JSM I hope your stomach gets to feeling better - eat some banana's and some yogurt like Tevye suggested it really does work.

zoh. heck no! The MacBook is only 2 yrs old, and still under Apple Care..it's just a matter of the time I won't have it. I Amay have to do a research paper on this turtle! aiaiaiaiai!!

I've had computers have fits before, but never to the point wher I couldn't fix it myself. I do not care for this at all! But, at least while I'm not sleeping, I can be getting my non-computer homework done (wooophie   )

Mission hows it going in your neck of the woods? Are you getting any relief from the cold?

NRGC Hope you get some dry weather for a few days anyway. Read were the foothills got hit hard again, this time mud slides took out some houses.

Morning all.....hope all is well in everyone's world! it is going to take me forever to catch up on all the threads...sigh...haven't even gone to the other threads yet...this was my first stop lol!

I am wondering if my stomach problem is because of all the fruit and rich food that I ate..I am not used to eating as much as we did on the cruise and also such rich food...I will give it a couple of days and see if things straighten out...sigh...it was worth it though!

so, I heard just a blurb on tv while on the cruise that the woman who had wanted to adopt Gabriel was arrested? what was that for? us monkeys were right to have our hinky meters explode on that one!

Yes, Tammi was arrested, and it has now turned into a homicide investigation    I think it was from the rich food you ate, let your stomach calm down for a day or two, I'll bet it will be better.

Yes, I think our rain is headed your way, it is dry today, but another storm is brewing Tuesday and Wednesday. My God some of the houses that got full of mud

I've been up and on the computer for almost 3 hours, but just now getting to read here. Had a request for a new avatar, and it took me almost 3 hours to do the little I got done! LOL

Tevye, you have my sympathies, I know computer problems are the pits! Upsets me a lot more than it should. I do hope it does not take long to get yourself back up to snuff on your computer. I don't know anything about Macs, but my husband got me a tiny little external hard drive that hooks up via USB port that has 320 GB storage and I keep all my important stuff on it that I do not want lost. It even has software on it that backs up and synchronizes the files automatically at my chosen schedule. It gives me much reassurance. If my computer goes down, I can just plug this into another, and have all the files I have put onto it ready to use. If Macs have USB ports, I recommend one for you and your school work, etc. Then you'll have no downtime, etc.

If we let the snow melt (we are getting an ice/snowstorm Tuesday, too) then we'd never get out to work or the store. LOL My husband is the kind who never misses a day of work. Ever. He just came in, the cars are both cleared off and he dug them out so they can reach the road fine. I have a feeling I will be taking neighbor to the store tomorrow, since his are still buried. But I do like being snowed in. Wish I could stay snowed in for a week or so. LOL

I worry about Sassy, I am willing to bet she is really snowed in and may be without power up there in Maryland. We only got 11" of snow, ourselves. They got much more ... up to 36" I hear!

I'm glad you didn't get as much snow as some areas, I also hope Sassy is okay. Our storm is done, but will start again Tuesday as well  I've enjoyed The Who, I've enjoyed seeing The Who, but man it is time to hang up the microphone. Maybe they are going to be very good, maybe they are resting up for the big show. That plastic surgery did nothing for Roger but made him laughable. I can't figure that out either, a person knows how old someone is, what is the point to getting your face so tight you can barely move it?

Yeah I felt awful during Mass. Came back home to do enough laundry to get me through the first of the week. I wonder how long until I feel better.
