I've posted it before, but I personally think these shootings like Columbine and the event today, take place in April more than any other time because that is sort of the "summation" time of the year for most school environments. It is when the awards and honors are announced, when the teams, etc. receive recognition, and it is also the run-up to prom season.

It is the time when the misfit and the "loser" feels the most alienated and slighted when they see the other kids get the awards and the prom dates and participate in all the activities they are left out of. So they decide to get even by taking out the "jocks" (the Columbine effect) and lashing out at those they perceive as having hurt them.

Well, I have a theory about today/s shooting but it is nothing near yours, but I will refrain from it until I have more definitive information but I think you would be interested in what my theory is.

Initial reports were that the group came to made their last part of investigation on the case of NH disappearance, but then during the weekend, information also came in that the Team came for the investigation on the Namdar bribery intent on Micheal Williams and Glembert Croes, who acted as MEP members, while they were actually from other party OLA.

This morning information coming from the Netherlands, denied that the team came exclusively for the NH case and a few moments ago the Minister of Justice indeed confirmed that the Team was for the NH Case in a last intent before closing the case and also for the investigation on the Namdar group. I will get the details on what he said later on.

In the second investigation, the use of RST is also mentioned.

Sorta looks like Aruba,IMO. Look in the upper right-isn't that a type of palm? I remember seeing a pic of the "Black Team " in aruba with shields and all, and they were covered head to toe also.

MF says Curacao:
the picture of RST was taken in Curacao. RST is a team of Rechercheurs from Aruba, Curacao and the Netherlands that work on important cases.

She may be right, Aruba is not that hilly and Curacao is.

Looking at this picture, it seems that Jacobs has joined them.  Is that him on the right?

Was Anita and the two other sons in Aruba the evening of the 29th, morning of the 30th?

According to Paulus Van der Sloot's witness statement ... Sabastian and Valentijn were home with him in Aruba.  According to Anita Van der Sloot .. she returned from Holland on June 1, 2005.

On May 30th 2005, in the nightly hours, I did not pick up Joran from anywhere. I slept solidly through the night without waking up. On May 30th in the hours of the morning, I did not notice anything different/out of the ordinary with Joran. According to me he got onto the bus of the I.S.A. with his brothers Sebastian and Valentijn just like he always does. I am not absolutely sure about that because I didn't notice it and because Joran didn't have to be at school every day during that period.

Update: The Minister of Justice H. Croes in a press conference today acknowledged the presence of the KLPD on the island on their last intent to try to solve the case of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.

During the last 2 years the Aruban government have welcomed the help from all over the world and the ALE has been working with US authorities as well with the Netherlands. Contrary to what has been speculated, the Prosecutors wanted to close the case a long time ago, but on the government insistance in showing that everything possible was done, asked one more time via the KLPD's director Mr. van Zunderd, for their help.

As he had said previously when he asked for the intervention of the KLPD, this is not a sign of mistrust of the ALE, but wanted the KLPD to investigate the case from another perspective and with a fresh mind and show their interest in solving the case.

All the documentations and other evidences of the investigation has been sent to the Netherlands, but the investigation in Aruba continued meanwhile and now the Team is on the island for their final phase in their investigation.

Good grief, who is this statement playing to, we all know they shut out the FBI, denied Tim Miller's request to search certain areas, refused equipment to help Dave Holloway with the landfill search and on and on......

Dompig wouldn't even pick up the phone to call the FBI to allow the deepwater boats in. Who was pulling the strings here and who are these idiots trying to fool? They never wanted the FBI in Aruba.

And, you know, I think that it was in the—in October, possibly early November, when Tim Miller was trying to finish this search when, of course, the depth of the water exceeded his equipment. And that‘s when he was needing the officials on the island to contact or pick up the phone and make one phone call to the FBI for some additional equipment. And they refused to do that.

The FBI will gain access to investigative reports in the Natalee Holloway case, after a judge turned down a motion by Joran Van Der Sloot's defense attorney to keep the agency from participating in the investigation.  The decision gives FBI agents access to transcripts of interrogations of suspects in the case and other information collected by Aruban authorities. Holloway's family members were encouraged by the decision.  "It gives more eyes and ears to the investigation," her father Dave Holloway said. "If the FBI can give any input or recommendation to the Aruban authorities, that's good."

Another O/T

Remember last week when I said I had a new shipment of dog food without any wheat gluten, Natural Balance Venison, $2 a can, etc. and that meant it would be recalled tomorrow?

Well, today it was!  I am so upset because this is the second time this has happened to me!  They should not announce their product perfectly safe and then sell a bunch of it and only then recall it.  Shipping on that amount is very expensive, too, not to mention having fed this to my nursing mothers for a week.

i cook the carrots a little bit to make them soft

make enough for 3-4 days and do it again..

if you were closer we could make some chicken-rice- carrot dog food



i lost 2 dogs in the past year, both were very healthy but they were older
and both died within a few months of each other....suspicious in my and the vets mind but we brushed it off because they were older but not super old and this was before the dog food problem

makes me so mad  

so much for TESTING of products in BATCHES like companies should do

Morning Monkeys, just reading through what I missed from last night.
I was wondering if anyone knows what  Thornton Ratliff                         looks like,  and if it could possibly be him in the pic?
 
Sometime  between 8:00 and 10:00pm on Sunday, WATSON went into the casino of the hotel and saw JURON VAN DER SLOOT. She went to a change machine and saw VAN DER SLOOT standing near RUTH MCVAY and MADISON WHATLEY  near a blackjack table.  After Watson played some slot machines for a few minutes, she went  to the blackjack table where she had seen her friends. She saw VAN DER SLOOT sitting at the blackjack
table with classmate THORNTON RATLIFF. VAN DER SLOOT appeared to be betting a lot of money. He also had some kind of small electronic device on the table in front of him that the device was called an "ipod" which was something similar to an mp-3 player. Some of WATSON'S female friends were standing around VAN DER SLOOT while he played, but WATSON does not remember seeing HOLLOWAY there. After a minute or two, WATSON walked into the hotel lobby and saw HOLLOWAY
coming out of the bathroom and had the above-mentioned conversation.

They have the name of the shooter but are waiting to make sure before they release his name.

What bothers me is the time difference between the first shooting and the second.  They assumed it was a murder suicide and that's why they hesitated.

This pisses me off because that hesitation was fatal.
