Arrest of JK2

On the day these three were officially "detained" and arrested, I believe June 8...

Are there any news reports describing the process of the their apprehension?

Does anyone know where they were individually when the polis apprehended them?  Or did they walk in voluntarily?  Or were they being questioned, and this led to detainment (ala van Croimvort)?

Are there any pictures of the initial stages of the detainment?

Does anyone know which polis officers were on the scene for arrest of jvds and/or k2?

Hammer - Great questions, and I may have more answers at home on my computer (but not here at work).

Per my memory - The date was Aug. 9 (not I'm pretty sure - it was Joran's graduation day. The arrests were after the ceremony, in the afternoon. None of the 3 were being questioned at the moment. The police went and picked up each of them. There was a pix of Joran with a towel or shirt or something over his head to shield his face from photogs. I *think* they were all handcuffed.

I remember thinking what an interesting comparison to the pre-dawn raid on the security guard's homes. J2K arrests apparently timed to permit Joran to graduate.

2) did Joran have access to either of his parents' car keys.  

I remember it being stated somewhere that he sometimes drove his mother's car.

The fishermen said they saw a white Suzuki on the beach, isn't one of the VDS cars an SUV type with either a red top and white bottom or vice versa?

Shizaru - As I keep saying, on my so-called lunch breaks at SM - I don't have notes here and can't begin to deal with times without them.

HOWEVER - One think I'm pretty sure about is that the vehicle as described by the fishermen (or rather the version we heard) did not match any vehicle we're familiar with. I *think* it was described as a white "Jeep-like" vehicle.

I would bet my last dollar that the sporter could get to the keys to both cars. Possibly had a set made for himself.

jurin and k2 arrests were perfectly timed to happen the day after jurin's final day of final exams. Funny how that happened.  

He did miss his graduation, which his supporters tried to get sympathy for, saying that Nat was able to attend her graduation!  

satish missed his exams due to the arrests and had to repeat the yr.

From her detailed journal BETH HOLLOWAY-TWITTY stated that on 6-12 DAVE HOLLOWAY became aware that a woman teacher at Prime Suspect JORAN VAN DER SLOOT’s school had reported on the telephone hotline that a school peer of Prime Suspect JORAN VAN DER SLOOT’s “had divulged what van der Sloot had done to Natalee. This teacher reportedly called the hotline, and was trying to tell the officials that Joran had confessed to this peer at his school what he had done to Natalee.” BETH does not know if this woman teacher was ever interviewed, or not, by the ARUBAN police


Have we ever heard anything more about this?  If not, I wonder if it is something we could get Jossy to check out.

In reading Joran's statement, He says he called Paulus on Anita's cell phone.  Why would he not call on the home phone?  Why would Paulus have Anita's cell and not his own?  WHERE was Paulus actually at when Joran called?  As we know, the little brothers were with Anita and not at home as Joran claimed.  Where Was Paulus??

b/c hurin could take his exams before he was arrested he was able tograduate. So you are correct.
But poor jurin didn't get to march around w/ the other 5 "students" at the gradualtion ceremony on June 9.

I can remeber some talk (maybe just on the boards) that students heard jurin bragging about sex w/ American tourist.  And also, something about he went home and a friend was staying at his apt and he told them he had sex w/ America tourist, then that was changed to he told his over-night friend that he DIDN"T have sex w/ the American tourist.

Ya know, it's the little details that bug the chit out of me and they should have been easy to answer.

When did Paulus leave the casino?

Did he go home to babysit one son, as Joran said?

Were both brothers at home as Joran later says?

Did anyone see Joran at the McDonalds that night?

Was the place even open that late on a Sunday night?

Why did Joran's story later change from the lighthouse to his apartment?

If any single one of those things is not true, then it means he had a reason for telling those lies.

Why didn't any of the cops followup any of this?  Were they just that stupid, or did someone put the brakes on the investigation?  What's the story on the judges involved with this case?

Everything about this turns my stomach!

I was thinking about the teacher at Joran's school saying Joran said Natalee hit her head and drowned.

Could it be possible this is true?  Could she have hit her head and drowned not in the Ocean but in the VDS pool?

If she fell and hit her head it was trying to get away from that PIG

I just confused that we get some transcripts but not all of them.. Its like a tease, why not all of them?  I hate when I feel that someone is pulling strings and we all jump..  

I had a hard time finding gas this morning, is something up?? Two gas stations in my area was closed and I finally found one?

What will it take for JQK to get his hands on everything and

everything the ALE has???

This bugs me too...of Joe T seems to know things point elsewhere then why not so many others involved in this investigation. He seems to be the only one who 'knows'. I think he is full of kaka.
