Those were beautiful! The Adagio one didn't have the part I was talking about (that whole piece is like 11+ minutes...you should see me when I listen to it. It's always really loud, and tears just stream down my face. Not because it's so sad, cos it's so beautiful!).

JSM  - I was watching the men practice skate and I swore I saw the Russian dude that I had thought had retired out there practicing.  Blonde hair , was big in the day, am I seeing things?

Pleshenko, he is a BACK and is skating his BUTT off. He is great!!! I swear his nose helps him center his spins.

Here this guy.  Are you guys getting to watch all the skaters practice?

That is Evgeni Pleshenko, no we aren't getting to watch any practice, only what NBC is showing. I am about to chuck out the 30 bucks for IceNetworks and watch it on the computer. NBC is awful.

We have a Olympic Channel, that shows all the channels and what they are showing (hope that makes sense) 

You are so lucky you can see it all. I think my friend is at the mens practice today. we have to watch the news, and all that crap before they start back to coverage.

They were saying last night that this will be the first Olympics ever that is sold out so the broadcaster is showing us everything as there are no tickets to go to anything.  I think it may be different if some events still had tickets available, but not as bad s NBC. 

NBC is awful, I don't want to know stories etc about the skaters, I know all their stories. Plus get the skating over because kids need to go to bed and want to watch it. Plus I can't stand Bob Costas.

I'm hungry, grump and cold. It is warmer in Vancouver than it is here tonight.

Skating coverage has started.  Can not tell you what they are saying but will give you screen shots.

I think they said they figure the Germans will win tonight.

When NBC started at 7 pm est, they promised us pairs in 21 minutes. Liars! Of course, I am enjoying the women's speedskating, but you know what NBC will do: they'll show one pair, then wait 1/2 hour and show another, and sucker us along till midnight! Ha! DVR, I command thee...
