Interesting............ On InSessions just now, they are discussing a valid point, IMO.

If the Defense was going to put out a "surprise" theory that Caylee drown in the backyard swimming pool, the State should have been made aware so that they had the chance to tease out disputing opinion from their own experts prior to putting them on the stand in their case.

The elderly witness is probably the plant lady...Dr. Bock or Brock......very sweet depo but a little ditzy
I think all the defense witnesses have been more than a little ditzy!

APRIL 6, 2011

 ::snipping2::

The defense today also questioned its forensic botanist, Dr. Jane Bock, who is being used to dispute Hall's findings.

Bock said she is not aware from any of the botany literature of plant-root growth estimates based on the measured diameters of unknown plants. "I'm not aware any such information at all," said Bock, who added that she spent time trying to track down such research.

As with the other witnesses today, Bock testified remotely and was not in the courtroom.

Bock finished testifying just before 3 p.m. Assistant State Attorney Jeff Ashton did not ask her a single question.

Is the defense trying to clean out the nursing homes and use them for witnes ses?

Casey Trial In Recess For Day
Defense Unable To Call Witnesses To Testify
POSTED: 11:13 am EDT June 20, 2011
UPDATED: 12:02 pm EDT June 20, 2011

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Judge Belvin Perry has called a recess until Tuesday in the Casey Anthony trial.
The order came after the two witnesses who planned to testify for the defense Monday were blocked by the prosecution because of discovery issues.

Perry said earlier that he was tired of the games being played by the attorneys. Before unleashing a sharp rebuke, he asked both prosecutor Jeff Ashton and attorney Jose Baez to look at the courtroom clock and read the time. Ashton said it was 9:25 a.m., and Baez said it was 9:26 a.m.

"That shows that the two of you will never agree on anything and never see anything the same way," Perry said.

InSession In Session
by TrialNotes
Judge Perry takes the bench. He announces that "by joint stipulation court is in recess until 9:00 tomorrow morning." #CaseyAnthony

http://twitter.com/#!/InSession

I'm not the brightest crayon in the box.. but what does that mean? ANYONE??

JMO Angie...but I think JP gave them til tomorrow morning to get all their chit in one bucket.....and by stating it is by a joint stipulation neither side can come back and bring up any issue about the delay.  CYA!

Thanks Sunny

ahhhh...no wonder, I got my skyfire to work...(thanks curly) and was watching it in the dentists office....saw the smackdown and heard Bill Schaeffer...then they had a recess....by the time I got back in the chair I could not get a video and it kept saying that there will only be a video when court is in session....makes sense now!!!!

I am very interested in this type of DNA testing but I can't find enough evidence it is accurate. There was one case in Illinois I think called the Master's case where someone convicted was exonerated but if I remember correctly it is still being questioned about the accuracy.

My question in this is WHY use someone from the Netherlands when we have labs here in the US who do the same work? I think I remember the judge even questioning that and I thought he required they use a US lab. SO how are the testifying now?

As aggravated as I am with bozo's antics, you KNOW the prosecution has to be fed up. I don't see how Ashton keeps from just decking bozo. The prosecution presents a good case and the defense just jerks around with incompetent witnesses and wastes time. I am guessing that Ashton will be so sick of that man's face after this is over. If I were bozo and wanted a plea deal in that county for another client I would go to a different state attorney's office. But then again, I don't see bozo having a license after all his unethical practices during this trial.

If hose b's witness didn't show up the judge should have made the defense call GA  and CA if they intend to.

ITA..we know both GA nad CA have been deposed but the State and the defense..they are good to go.

I have a feeling Baez is leaving CA and GA and Lee until the very end..where he will question about the sexual abuse issues ..they will say no..he will leave that question in the air.  Sorta like  a he said she said..the liar said.

Has that lady Robyn been in Orange County jail all this time waiting to be called?  If he isn't using her right away why did they transport her so early in the defense case?

IIRC, Robyn has been in OC jail since she was transferred May 11th from state prison.

I feel bad for the prosecution. They are going by everything to the T to keep out lies and tricks of the defense! And they get slapped a little for it too. Grrrrr.

Wonder if they are next to or across from each other.
If so, might be using her to get more info on what kc says from May 11th threw the trial?

Why would a the court reporter and a deputy go into the jury room?  Anyone?

I think anytime he talks with the jury outside the courtroom he has the court reporter and a balliff go along with him to get what he says on the court's record.

Thanks Gypsy
