Do you think LE told them Caylee is dead and they are going to the Grand Jury on homicide charges?

Probably. That is a generous courtesy that LE provides to the family to allow them to prepare. Cops are cool.
I asked the question earlier if anyone thought they might have already found Caylee. but if they had wouldn't they arrest Casey, seeing as she is the only suspect? Or would they have to wait on forensic evidence?

Abby and BT that would be what I would do if I was LE.  I would lay their cards of un-matched stories and tell them to "go fish" until they find the match!  This BS has gone on long enough and someone needs to get to talkin.
If I were Sherrif Bearly I would say "TES is on their way and they are going to find her with our without your sorry a$$'s.  So whats it going to be?"

Klaas it is indeed ironic that Cindy was the one who called the police, Cindy who is blaming herself for setting the steps into motion that will eventually put her daughter on trial for Caylee's disappearance, her enabling all these years of her daughters problems without seeking help for KC and instead sought advice for herself..advice that may have backfired and cost her the thing she loved most. For someone whose family says is a controlling person, Cindy sure didn't have the right kind of control. The whole thing was one hot mess before Caylee come up missing. One thing to be sure there will be surprises aplenty when this goes to trial.
That's why I think George is the controller and Cindy is the enabler. Not sure how the kids Casey and Lee fit into the equation though. And what kind of catalyst would make it all fall apart.
Can a situation like this be used as a defense? It is insane but I don't think it qualifies legally.

Klas, thanks for this udate..I was sitting in my closet todayfor hours thinking about my Son and Natalee(both were lost around the same time).I kept crying and trying understand how this family lives with themself. Then I asked myself what would Beth do.....pray some more and get out of the dang closet, quite feeling sorry for my self and then I saw this news and I think my prays really were heard today.Do you think Caylee will be found now?Sorry to ramble, this case has just really brought raw emotion to the surface today.I would have taken Caylee in a heart beat and loved her as mine.Anyway you monkeys are the greatest.Going back in lurk mode now.

BETH HOLLOWAY

Beth says her faith has helped her through the ups and downs of the case, but she doesn't believe Natalee is alive. "What I always knew and believed was that Natalee had a strong relationship with God, and I truly felt that God cared for her through whatever ordeal she went through," Beth says.

Beth says she continues to hope that someone knows what happened to her daughter and will come forward. In the meantime, Beth says she is trying to prevent this type of tragedy from happening to others. She created the International Safe Travels Foundation, an organization dedicated to educating travelers so they can plan, travel and return home safely. "I feel as if our tragedy was losing Natalee, and I truly feel the second tragedy would be if we failed to learn from it and share, and that is what I am committed to do," she says.

Loving Natalee: A Mother's Testament of Hope and Faith eBook edition
by Holloway, Beth
ISBN: 9780061538681
Publisher: HarperCollins e-books
Year Published: 2007

In May of 2005, Beth Holloway received the worst phone call a parent can imagine. Her beautiful daughter, Natalee Holloway, had disappeared without a trace in Aruba during her high school senior class trip. Two years later, for the very first time -- Beth Holloway steps forward -- in this astonishingly candid and inspirational memoir to tell of her harrowing ordeal, and her never-ending belief in the power of hope against all odds which has given her a sense of deep faith she never could have found imaginable. Everyone knows what Beth Holloway looks and sounds like. In 2005, the disappearance of her daughter and her almost single-handed campaign to find her and to seek justice, became the number one reported news story of the year, and is still making headlines around the world to this day. Still, Beth never spoke candidly to the media about her emotions and personal journey, choosing only to focus on the facts of her mission: to find her daughter, dead or alive. Two years later, with the publication of this book, Beth will open her heart and personal experiences with her readers and the public in a way that will serve not only as a gut wrenching true crime story, but as an inspirational tale for everyone to grasp her profoundly moving belief in the power of the faith that is derived from hope."

I don't know the legal answer but I remember LP or someone saying that Casey isn't going to go anywhere. Either she doesn't have the means or transportation or would be closely guarded. The statement didn't sound like it was legally prohibited for her to go anywhere, but her behavior wouldn't allow her to. Like she is a prisoner of her family's sick little possession games.

Do you think they found Caylee or just lab results have all came back?

Mammy, I am certain that they have not found Caylee yet.

I feel really bad for Tony L. I walked in his shoes as a young woman. The one I had trusted  left me for dead. He gets out of prison in 09.  I eventually used what happened to me to grow and to help others. I sincerely hope Tony all the best and hope he knows there was nothing there that would have alerted him that anything was wrong with her. They are masters at deception.

I feel bad for Tony as well as all the others Casey deceived.  I actually feel less sorry for her parents because I bellieve they have lived with her lies for years and years and shouldn't be "backing" her now.
Ilovegoodies - have you seen the Tony thread.  Tony addressed the feeling he was having about being able to trust again there.  I wrote him a heartfelt note, based on my personal experience there.  He might appreciate hearing from you too.

I have a theory...This is the first time they have done a live broadcast of casey court appearances threw the media anyway..Do you think they are doing this live coverage because she will be arrested after court or during court...Maybe? I know we can see court appearances but the media has never broadcasted it that i know of

That's the other side. The side on Colonial has a parking area and no houses. It's a nice size lake.
