It's to mark the spot, we were also told that part of the body was missing, they would come back later to search, What bothers us is near the rock painting was found the belt which was extremely similar to the belt that Joran used around the neck of his friend.. CLose to the rock Dave went with a friend by there, they saw a police car with the trunk open as though they were puting somethin in it. It bothers me those two facts.

It just adds to the bizarresness of the whole case. One question, I've seen photos, you mention the belt, you mention DAve, back on July 25, 2005 I see pictures that a park ranger picks up fabric and it looks to me similar fabric to a top that Natalee was wearing, But we were told it was fish net, but if you look at the picture it looks like her top for sure.

It does look very familiar to what she was wearing, but I'm unable to confrim it, we would have to go search for the fabric itself which has disappeared since. Every piece of evidence or what appears to be evidence has disappeared or we never heard about it again

He did not show up at his job for two days
Police is investigating the cause behind the dead of the man Rene van Heyningen whose body was found behind the Government cemetery at Sabana Basora. It was mrs. Y.C.H., 29 years old, who arrived home at Sabana Basora around 7:30 a.m. Saturday to find the house in a total mess and with signs of violence, including traces of blood. At observing the scene police said that the injured person could not be alive. The man that should have been at that house could not be found anywhere, and his grey pick-up truck was not there either. Immediately alarm was sounded. Police agents who arrived at the scene started a thorough search of the area and moments later discover the pick-up truck behind the Government cemetery in Sabana Basor. The beheaded body of Rene van Heyningen, who worked at the refinery, was found in the bushes not far from the vehicle. Rene van Heyningen was born on Janaury 12, 1973 and resided at van Lennepstraat 17 in San Nicolas. So far, no detention has taken place in this case. According to the police, the house owner was heard as a possible witness. We extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved family.

eleni, I agree with you 100% about the Van der Sloots and their apparently successful public relations ploy in the interview with Greta.

They were carefully advised and coached, no doubt, by their attorneys to invite Greta back for an in-depth look.

What a set-up. Iced drinks for all at their dining room table. A convenient rng of the telephone calling Paulus away from the interview at a crucial moment. The tacky Christmas angel set up with Natalee's prayer card.

Greta said that Beth Holloway was advised by her attorneys NOT to return to the Van der Sloots with Greta. Wise advice.

Anita VDS turned on her crocodile tears and her "My boy is a good boy" speech, right on cue. The mope of a father was sweating bullets, I noticed, as Greta talked about the first night they had an encounter with the Holloway-Twittys.

That would be the night that Joran was in yet another casino--The Wyndham--on yet another school night, no doubt once again bombed out of his skull--as shown in that lovely picture of him passed out on the colorful comforter.

Remember that Anita Van der Sloot has a lot at stake here--her position in the wealthy ex-pat community; her job at ISA; her reputation as a "spiritual person and advisor" etc.

On Natalee's Yahoo forum there there is a report that a helicopter is searching Santa Lucia area because according to the cell phone records of one of the three suspects there was a call in the Santa Lucia area at 6:30 am the morning Natalee was to have met up with the group to leave for airport.

Three girls interviewed last night at Carlos & Charlie's admitted they knew many girls (and some boys) that have had drugs slipped into their drinks, even here in the USA.

A local guy admitted that the C&C location is a hot zone for drugs. If you want to buy anything, cocaine, heroin, marijuana, date rape drugs etc. go there.

Until they find her and do toxicology tests I am not willing to blame her for anything. Why is the victim always to blame rather than the scum who took advantage of her and probably killed her. I pray she is alive, but with every passing day hope fades.

I have to say, YOU GUYS ARE FAST@! This Max Arends is my brother! He's at home, chillin' all freaked out because you already know him! He is actually Joran's class-mate and exactly the person I was mentioning in part 6 that CNBC is desperately trying to contact for a 'simple' interview. Anyhow, he's not the Max Arends that being arrested, this is another Max Arends who I happen to know as well, his name is actually not Max Arends, but Maxito, and his last name is Arendsz. I'm not sure what's happening to him right now, but I already have someone trying to find that out.

a man by the name of RENEE VAN HANEGEM whose wife works at one of the hotels in Aruba. She worked all night Friday night when she returned home on Saturday morning she found blood all in the house and her husband was missing. She called the police. Later Saturday afternoon his body was found partially decapitated in a nearby cemetary.

Now there is that other story out there from Aruba's fm95 radio station that there is a witness that saw Natalee and Joran at the Marriott and that Joran left and Deepak returned to the hotel for something.
I wonder if this is the witness that the person at the radio person was referring to and I wonder if the decapitation was a message to her.

Please ping me if you come across further information on this. I'm looking for info on the man-with-no-head but can't find anything.

I guess it is post the old stuff day.  Arashi and the rocks.

Uhm up until now there hasn't been any more person detained.Maybe that was a news mixup.Today Mr Lejuez (not sure who he is representing)adressed a local radio with some other facts.Or potential facts may I say.
Supposedly Joran van der Sloot was crying in his cell where he is held. And he started talking to Jones(one of the security Guards who is also still held).He said that he thinks that the Kalpoe bro's might be up to something.HE added that it seemed as if they are trying to make it seem like he killed Ms Holloway.So he decided to "confess".He said that the Kalpoe brothers dropped him off FIRST.At the goobyes he exchanged email information with Ms Holloway and then he got out of the car.Came monday , they decided to tell the police that all 3 of them dropped Ms NAtalee , and invented the entire 2 security guard story.
My question: WHAT THE HELL IS THIS ? Now you want to "confess" again? And without telling a reason WHY the 3 of you had decided to come up with a story?You're all guilty..this is guilty behavior.
But the biggest rumor is this; Joran did get out of the car with Ms Natalee(at the lighthouse/arashi beach)...Accidentaly she stumbled at the beach..She fell on rocks where she hit her head pretty hard.And since then passed out.THey dropped her off a far distance from the Holiday Inn.BUt as guilty as they felt came back a few minutes later to check on her.She was still in the same position as when she was dropped off.Then they discovered she still had no pulse and supposed she turned ice cold and purple.SO they all panicked , took her back in the car , and started to plan what to do.
That is how much i know of this 'rumor'.
This is sooo sickening.These guys SHOULD be pressured MUCH harder ..Make them soob so hard they can't even think straight ,so they confess to this.
I believe the rumor.This is a shame , as for I am born and raised on this lovely island. And it makes me sick ! This is unfair , no matter how drunk this girl was.It's utter and completely wrong.
