Hi Nikki

Welcome Back.  Wasn't it you that was taking care of a bunch of baby kittens a million posts ago?

Aristotle on BFN is saying that the driveway dig is based on information given from a *suspect*.

She is, IMO, a good source.

Deepak's car behind the gate at 2:00 am. Is it possible this is what they were doing before the family arrived? I can't see how they could have gotten away with it any other time than early the morning Natalee disappeared and that night before the Twittys arrived. Could be possible some of her belongings are buried there. The driveway seems a little far-fetched, but from what we've seen anything is possible.

I looked again and this is not Paulus... he is in the back wearing a white shirt...
Sorry... looked like his head when I first saw it.

Rob,  I have always thought that was Joran peeking, and then Paulus came out and talked to them.  It may be Anita of course.

Hi Nikki! Good to see you!

O/T - Medical question of sorts. If one of those fatal type spiders bites you, you're probably not alive the next day, right?  Laughing

This Paulus..

This part was very sad..

Beth in her sweet voice says 'Hi, I'm Natalee's mom.. I wanna give you a prayer card'..

God Bless Beth...

I would have maimed him beyond belief.. her faith is stronger than mine.. I'm not ashamed to admit that...

Slimeball Paulus would have to look up "prayer card" in the dictionary to know what Beth was talking about.

He wanted to tell them they couldnt be here.. But didn't want to look like they were hiding something as he saw the Camera and found out that was Natalees MOM.

I agree very sad..I know my temper would have been unleashed through that whole ordeal.

My prayers are for the well being of all monkeys, whether I remember the names and ailments.  Also for the Dutch team and Tim and all who are seeking information and justice in this case (and so many others).

I don't know if they'll be able to find evidence, but it's worth noting that the Dutch are putting a lot of time and money into this case.  Like our FBI, the Dutch investigators have many cases and matters to spread among their law enforcement resources.  They negotiated with Aruba to have separate offices and for full police power while in Aruba.  They would not take the case without these conditions being met.  I'm thinking that they are investigating the disappearance of Natalee Holloway but realize they may find evidence of other crimes that the police corps, gov't officials or judges might be guilty of.  In fact, I think it's one of the things they are looking for.  If they can find evidence of the crime, they will find evidence of dirty cops and others who are not only involved in the cover up, but other illegal activities.

Actually, I have a feeling that the call for reinforcements (at least some of them - non forensic) was based on the scope of corruption - much bigger than they had thought. JMO.

I've said from the beginning that outside intervention is the only way this would resolve, because internally, Aruba is too messed up.

Specifically, the weekend of 6/10/2005 made me think immediately of Phenix City, ALA, and some here will know what I'm talking about. It isn't just the NH case, it's other stuff, and deeply entrenched.

In the case of PC AL, it was an over-the-top incident - one specific murder case - that brought the bad guys down. Here's hoping Natalee is that catalyst for Aruba.

I agree with you here Ms. M., there is no way Aruba could police itself. They passed that point a long time ago when their government sold out to the drug dealers and money launderers. Oh, and Hugo Chavez.

Does anyone here have a subscription to this web site?
http://www.einnews.com/netherlands/
I don't and am working right now. Too busy to fill out the subscription form.

If you go the site, and then in the "select Netherlands feed" pull down menu you select breaking news, you will find the headline of a breaking news story entitled.

"Dutch arrest man in case of missing US teen 30 Apr 2007 07:11"

If you click on the free trial it takes you to a screen.  The problem with it is that it's $29.95 per month and they ask for your credit card even for the free trial.

Note though it was posted at 7:11 which must be 7:11AM but we don't know if that was Netherland time zone or U.S. time zone. I would have to believe if this was the case it would already be in our MSM given it was posted between 8-12 hours ago.

And the headline doesn't say if it's in relation to Natalee. I don't have the time right now to search for any other Dutch news reports. Just wondered if anyone had a subcription to the site. I suppose if it's about Natlee we'll hear soon enough.

I gotta get back to work now.

Let's wait and see if this arrest is really new and not an erroneous report.  I haven't seen anything about an arrest elsehwere.
