SAM - many people complained about the post.  You are correct, I made a mistake and should have moved it to the political forum instead of deleting it.  Blah can always post it again there though.

It wasn't that it was off topic it was the horrible nature of the article.  That said, when we get our new forum there will be more rules than there are now.  Off topic can go to chat or the appropriate area.  A missing person thread will be for discussion of that topic only.



What I don't understand is what are those who complained about the article doing on a forum for missing, exploited, etc. and crimes against children forum?

If their sensibilities are so easily offended, they surely do not belong on a forum of this k ind. Should we go back and delete all the graphic violence in all the posts about those who have been killed in most horrific manner that are listed here?

Much of this forum is devoted to seeking justice for victims of tremendous violence.  Those who find it so offensive they cannot bear it being posted should find many, many posts offensive and unbearable.  Perhaps they should avoid all threads that might contain such material which would certainly be this one.  Should all the posts that contain graphic violence in all the threads be deleted as well?

I find some other things offensive as well but I don't demand the posts all be deleted.  I usually just leave until the subject changes or do as I have been told to do every time I have complained, just scroll past.  Why can't others do as they tell me to do and do the same when they encounter an offensive post or is that just what some of us are supposed to do and not others?
