John Tighe - Missing 6-2-08 So. Portland, Maine(BODY FOUND)

SOUTH PORTLAND - The South Portland Police Department said the car of a missing man has been found, but they still need the public to help them find John D. Tighe.


Tighe, 38, was reported missing by his wife and was last seen about 5:30 p.m. Sunday at his home in South Portland before he left for a possible meeting in Yarmouth.

Tighe (photo at right) was not present at that meeting, police say, and also has not shown up for work at CitiGroup in downtown Portland for the past two days. Police say they have no indication of foul play but share the family’s concern for Tighe's well-being.

Tighe was last known to be operating a green 1999 Toyota Camry, which police this morning say they found.

Police say based on the location of the car and other information gleaned during the investigation, officers from South Portland, the Maine Warden Service and the Maine Search and Rescue Dogs group will be searching for Tighe in the area around Clark's Pond in South Portland.

Body Of Missing Man Found

SOUTH PORTLAND (NEWS CENTER) -- The body of 38-year-old John Tighe of South Portland was found Wednesday, two days after he was reported missing Monday.
 

Tighe was last seen Sunday night, and had not shown up for work Monday or Tuesday. On Wednesday, search crews with dogs searched the Clark's Pond area, where Tighe's car had been found.

Police do not suspect foul play.



Sad, they found his body.

I just saw on the news where they found his body.    An article I read when he first went missing said something about a problem with depression.    So sad.
