Misty wants comments on her MYSpace.

http://www.myspace.com/501509439

I have a hard time believing that is her..........whoever did that page spelled encouragement properly

Satsuma is spelled wrong tho, does that count?  lol

Misty had the other town in her myspace tho, the one where they were staying at with GGma.

Morning Monkeys & guests,

She also says her heros are 'White Boy Greg and Nay Nay' and her relationship status as single.

Then in her Blurbs 'About me' section says 'A wife to Ronald Cummings' ??? I don't think this is her either.

First thing that jumps out at me is the whole page layout looks so much more 'mature' than the first one we saw....all bling-blinged and sparkling-flashing pinks.

Maybe she has aquired some spelling abilities while reading all the blogs & staying home at GGMa Sykes, instead of out partying everyday...

I dunno...just another oddity to add to the never-ending list in this case.

I do not think it is her. too sarcastically written to be something by her. Sadly, I do not believe she has the brains to be that sarcastic.

And her mood is exotic

I never knew exotic was a mood.
Strange the things one learns on myspace. Monkey Devil!
It says that the myspace was made 9/28...that was yesterday? I think that someone else made this not Misty but it is interesting to read and when she gets word of it she may just post there...we should keep an eye on it while we can because she may report it and it may be removed.....it would be nice if she would talk to us there....

That was my thought too, when I saw it. I don't think that is Misty's page.

Could be anyone impersonating her.

I agree it's not her she can't spell that well .

Good Morning, I could never figure out, and I never will, if you confess something like murder to a priest they don't have to tell. I was born and raised a Catholic, it makes no sense to me

morning...I agree...and I am Catholic as well, although not a practicing one...my bad...
I really don't believe in the confession part of it anyways...if God sees all and knows all, why do we need a middle man? that being said, confessions should not be secret if someone has done something bad, like murder and other crimes..imo

CONFESSIONS OF A CRIME…

September 29, 2009 by Steph

If someone confesses a crime to a clergy, should the clergy report it to Police?? Because of the professional ethics of confidentiality, in regards to clergy, this ensures that congregants or clients can share their concerns, questions or burdens without fear of disclosure. It creates a context of respect and trust within which help can be provided. The tradition of clergy confidentiality has allowed some people to seek help who otherwise might not do so out of fear of punishment or embarrassment. Often called into question are situations involving physical or sexual abuse of children. Here’s my question to you, and please weigh in. This is an important issue. If a person confessed to a priest that they had something to do with a murder/disappearance/crime, should he break his code of conduct and tell police?
Remember the Stacey Peterson case, where Stacey told her Pastor, that Drew Peterson admitted he had killed Kathlene Savio, his 3rd wife, and asked Stacy to cover for him, which she did. The Pastor never said anything till after stacy had dissapeared but his information was crucial to the investigation.

Well, all I know I learned on television.

Sometimes the investigators on the crime shows go and talk to a priest during an investigation.
The priest will eventually tell what he knows, but he does it reluctantly.

It is usually only when the information that the priest has incriminates another member of the
clergy that the diocese gets involved.

When Does the Clergy/Priest-Penitent Privilege Apply?

The privilege is a state law, which means each state has its own rules and regulations regarding how it can be used.  Although in the past there were many strict rules regarding its use (such as only applying if the clergy and the confessor were of the same religious denomination), nowadays most states only have two main requirements restricting its use:
The confessor must be speaking to the clergyman in his religious capacity.  This means that you must be talking to the clergyman as your religious adviser, not just as your friend or associate.  Simply having a conversation with a priest is not automatically privileged.
No third parties may be present (unless they too are clergy you are confessing to).  You cannot make a confession in front of other people and still expect the conversation to be secret.

If these two requirements are met, any conversation you have with the cleric, even an admission of murder, is not admissible in court (with the notable exception below).

Another important question is who holds the privilege; the clergy, the confessor, or both? That is to say, which of the two people involved controls whether it is used.  Can a priest refuse to testify even if the confessor waives his right?  Are the things the priest says privileged too?  The states are divided evenly as to who holds the privilege, with about 1/3 saying the clergy, 1/3 saying the confessors, and 1/3 saying both.
