The folks at "The Oprah Winfrey Show" want everyone to understand: George and Cindy Anthony won't be getting any money when they give Winfrey an exclusive interview in May.
"In terms of any compensation, I can state unequivocally that no money is changing hands as part of this appearance," a spokesman told me this evening.

George and Cindy are the parents of Casey Anthony, who is accused of murdering her daughter, Caylee.

"The Oprah Winfrey Show" airs at 4 p.m. weekdays on WFTV-Channel 9.

I have some thoughts re:  Annie and her supposed overnight stay at the Anthony's.  IMO...Annie's in deep do-do with the po-po and I'm wondering if she wore a wire (ala Tony L) during that visit in exchange for LE looking the other way about her  little Xanax business, or whatever else she was into.  I know she sounds pretty hostile in her LE interview, but I think she had incentive to spend the night with slore while slore was out on bail.  By all accounts, it seems she was with KC during that traffic stop and probably knew all about the Zanny ID.  What do you all think? 

I am betting money on her wearing a wire for LE. She was into a lot evidently and that was the only way to keep from being prosecuted herself.  That is a good way to get evidence, to get the perps friends to wear a wire.

Wonder if the wire was in that Shamrock baseball cap that KC tore to shreds!!??

For-sale signs on land near where Caylee Anthony's remains were found have been taken down, WESH-Channel 2 reported this afternoon.

But the real-estate agent wouldn't comment on a sale, anchor Jim Payne said.

The station had reported earlier this week that someone sympathetic to the Anthony family had been trying to buy the land to block a permanent memorial to the toddler. Caylee's mother, Casey, is charged with murdering her.

A makeshift memorial to the little girl sits on the land.

In a later newscast, WESH's Bob Kealing explored how people are using YouTube to discuss whether Casey Anthony deserves the death penalty. She is charged with murdering Caylee, her daughter. The YouTube discussion extends to a man in Japan who sees the death penalty as "the height of hypocrisy." An Orlando man said he couldn't serve on the jury because he had seen too much local news coverage. The report seemend an excuse to put Kealing on a mobile Web cam.

Yeah hypocracy, whatever. The DP is against my religion, but if I were a KC Ant juror I wouldn't for the life of me fill in the line that states my religion. I would lie and say agnostic or something other than Catholic. I would vote Death Penalty, plain and simple. I hate KC and the rest of those dang Anthonys and I hate Oprah and Dr Phil.

Yes.I'm not sure where.I think in the last cage.Rumors are soil samples from Casey's shoes match soil samples from the crime scene.Remember Nut predicted that a while back. 
As far as Hubby we are just trying to stay out of each others way after today.Bad driving lesson for me and a 5 speed.

It's Possible, Orlando Attorney Tells WESH

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The cost of defending Casey Anthony could be in the millions, and taxpayers could foot some of the bill.

Orlando criminal defense lawyer Richard Hornsby said Thursday this is the only way attorney Jose Baez will be able to hire the experts necessary to defend Anthony in what will be an expensive death penalty case.

"I think the taxpayers are going to get stuck with paying for his costs," Hornsby said.

Hornsby said Baez has a legal right to argue the state should pay for a chunk of Anthony's defense fees.

Florida's Justice Administrative Commission has a set expert witness fee schedule. Defense experts would have to accept a set fee, do it for free or leave the so-called dream team that Baez has been assembling.

For this to happen, the court would have to declare Anthony indigent. Baez would have to disclose his current funding sources and sign a 20-page contract agreeing to the commission's guidelines.

On Thursday, Baez would neither confirm nor deny whether he is considering asking the state to help fund the defense. He told WESH 2 that he is aware this is a possible option, but does not want to disclose what the defense team's next move is going to be.

So if Baez moves to declare Casey indigent because he can no longer peddle her pictures, then he HAS to disclose how he was funded.  Does this fall under Sunshine law?

As well, as a taxpayers who will now be straddled with the cost, can a class action lawsuit against the whole Clan Ant take place to recover costs for the web of lies and wild goose chase that the same taxpayers are paying for?
