I really think that the police know much more than we do and much more than we give them credit for.  I think they have caught Joran and daddy in some very obvious lies about Joran's activities that night and what daddy knows about those activities.

I wish you are o.k. Right now everybody is in suspension if the father of JVDS is really involved in the disappearance. According the spokeswoman of the Prosecutor's Office. He was arrested because of being a suspect in the disappearance of Natalee.

Tonight at 9 the decision will be if PVDS will stay arrested or released.

It sounds like this would be a good time to change the suspicion items against the Kalpoe brothers from murder and kidnapping to obstruction of justice or whatever the Dutch equivalent is, and sentence them to 100 hours of community service and let them go home to their families and prepare to spend the next year or so of weekends running errands and planting floral borders for elderly people.

TIig but you forget the one interesting item let out today.. Deepak is not allowed to be visited by his mother.

I felt for her very much.  She is a mother that loves her son.  She believes in her son, or wants to believe in her son.  The same we would all do for her children.  I don't believe that she knows anything.  I think she was given a story by JVSD and PVSD and she believes it.

I have to agree with you dragonfly.  I think she is holding onto the belief that both husband and son have been upfront with her.

I honestly think the woman is so confused at this point that she doesn't know what to think.

I do feel for her in a way, I don't think she really has any idea what her son and husband is capable of. I think she suspects something, because she made the comments last pm about why didn't LE pick up her son and the bros as soon as Natalee went missing. But I don't think she knows the details. Mr. VDS was probably scared if he told her, she would melt down, however, I think she is close not to that.

Past entries or reports have described her at "out there."  She is a self-described "spiritual" person.  She teaches art.  She's in denial about her little boy's behavior.  The fact that she refers to him as "good boy" is telling.  The poor woman is well-meaning but out of touch with reality.  She just doesn't get it and lives in "Anita-world" where everything operates according to her reality.  When the real world intrudes, like the past couple weeks, it's confusing and puzzling to her.  I've known people like her--we all have--and she's not involved in this.

TO answer this:
** Natalee's mother and stepdad, along with friends and two officers, went to the VDS home around 3:30am on May 31st after learning Joran had last been seen with Natalee. Apparently, PVDS is not polite when a group of people are outside his front gate yelling at 3:30am**

it seems JVDS wasn't home (at like 3am on a school night) so his dad called him on his cell and he was at some club gambling.  

He was at school because he had his final exams that morning***

The Twittys arrived at the v.d Sloot home at 1 am they said. Left with father to look for Joran at casino, came back, he was there, stayed until 3:30 or 4 am.

On the school's website, it says exams didn't start until that FRIDAY (June 3).

The one who said that people who got out of control and buried a victim mostly did  this in their own backyard(can't find it back since we are moving so fast)...If those dogs searched the area at the VDS home, they would have found something I guess, and I would think that in most cases you are afraid someone saw you when you entered the house with the victim too, and you wouldn't get rid of the victim in your own backyard, but somewhere far away..Just my opinion.

I didn't say it quite the way you put it.  Funny how a slight change in wording can effect the meaning of a statement, isn't it?  I meant that it seems that many criminals prefer to hide evidence, including bodies, in places they feel are their territory or "private."  There is much more possibility of someone seeing you with the victim on a public beach or road than entering a private residence at 2 am.  And the reality is that  115 pounds of anything is difficult to move and dispose with any degree of privacy.

You have to admit this Joran Van Der Sloot is one cool customer. If we are to believe he killed Natalee. Look at his immediate actions.

1. He shows up at school the next day and brags about having sex with Natalee.

2. He's back at the casino the next night gambling.

3. When the Twittys show up he was willing to talk to them, it was his dad and Deepak that kept saying "don't say anything"

4. He tells his mom that prison isn't so bad, and that when Natalee shows up he's gonna kick her butt in front of Beth because of all the trouble she's gotten him into.

For a 17 yr old that just comitted a murder? This guy is rock solid.

Where did we learn 1.2. and 4. ?? This is the first time I've seen these things -- especially presented as 'fact.'

I've learned this from watching Fox. Facts? maybe hearsay. 1 and 2 were from Greta and Jug Twitty. 4 was from Greta and Mrs. Van Der Sloot.
Remember that Greta is a very good lawyer - I like the way she cuts to the chase.
