Yet, I was sensing there was something behind the search of the area near Joran's house...not sure why..but, it just felt that way.  Although, I'm having a hard time believing if there was a body to dispose it was done near his house...cuz' I doubt he went to his house with her.

I think Beth's sense of Natalee in the home was more due to her being near those who know where she is.

A body is heavy and difficult to hide.  It seems that many criminals actually hide bodies in places they feel are "private" or their own territory, like their own back yard or their basement.  Otherwise, they need to go out where they might be observed disposing of the body, and this would not be a choice that Van der Sloot would make.  Too concerned about public opinion and someone seeing, of course.  I do think forensic evidence from the search, in combination with something said in the interviews, are leading the search into the heart of the home.

Nothing new except Papa VDS was arrested as a suspect and not a witness.

All that was said, was Joran called Dad to pick him up at McDonalds at 11.  Sneaks out without Dad knowing, when a car is pulling up and they have dogs???  Maybe he waited until Dad went back out ......Mom was away maybe Dad wanted to play.  The next night when the Twittys arrived he was at a Casino per Dad (not sure of time but believe it was after 1am.....past his curfew

If you conspired to cover up a crime together the curfew the next night with mom out of town and finals over are of little consequence

OK, I know this is out there, but what if her body was still in the house the night the family showed up.  Dad leads them on wild goose chase.  Joran does something with the body--and maybe the brothers really did help him with that.  Why I have no idea because even their first lie makes no sense.

You really need to relax. I did not know if Tom was aware is all, hoping he would do IP trace and I cannot PM or I would have, to avoid ignorance like that.

Yes, I felt that about the pond and area near their home.  For some reason I'm tending to believe the brothers dropped Joran and Natalee at the Marriot...and if something did happen there..the water is sooo close.
I just can't picture the Dad picking up Joran and a body...how do you do that and not get caught,  or risk being seen?

Plus, the helicopters did their initial search over the Marriot beach area...small but possibly important.
