Just so we don't lose it:

Can only do a drive by until late tonight but I had another shoe aspect to mix into the stew.

Remember the photo of Joran taken two weeks before Natalee disappeared, the one with him up on stage wearing what we thought were some very odd colored yellowish boots?

Upon enlargement we found them to be some badly stained sports sneakers.  I wonder how he got them so dirty.  Were these the shoes he planted because they were no good any more anyway or what.

Does this enter into anything?  How did he get them so dirty like that and would they not clean up?  Had he been somewhere like the bird sanctuary checking things out or what?  Sounds pretty premeditated even for a Sporter but could have been there on some other mission and just recalled the area later when needed.

Just thinking about those very strange looking shoes.

Didnt he say daddy picked him up at McDonalds at some point? Was that before he snuck out the second time?

 I have no idea? I thought it was after?

 Maybe somene will recall that Nikki? I am probably wrong? I dont know to be honest.

He said, "I picked them up at McDonald's at 4 a.m." (Who is them?).  He later changed that to picking up Joran at McDonalds at 11 p.m. the evening before.

Paulus admitted to picking up Joran at McDonalds at 11pm that night.  Then according to Joran, Joran snuck out at around 12:45am with Deepak and Satish and went to CnC.

However, Beth insists that originally, Paulus said he picked up Joran at 4am but changed it to 11pm.

 IIRC Geraldo reported that on TV.. I recall watching it and almost fell off the bed. lol Nikki.. there is so many friggin discepancies in this all.. Its so sick. And What I wonder. and I am no legal person.. since Joran wrote that bookd.. and all the BS in it.. and his  PV statements.. if that book could be used as evidence at all?      In compariosn to his other statments he made in the PV?

I am sorry I ever mentioned that snack truck.  I just thought it odd that he needed to say anything about it at all.  So the truck was meaningless.  I will go with that, for now.  

No, I think we need to find out more.  The driver might have been in and testified 7 times.  Who knows.  I think that everything Joran says is important  because he always twists the facts to his benefit, but as he continues to twist, he is twisting in the end and nowhere to go.  Put a rope around his neck to make hanging himself easier.  It's coming.

I agree, though it's importance may be minimal, it was thrown into the brew for a reason. I don't suggest blowing it out -of-proportion but something to keep in the back for future reference.

Yea, I try to watch out for them.  If they're not Harleys or other really noisy bikes, they can be easy to miss.  There are some biker gangs that are criminals.  There are some who hang out/go places together but are average law-abiding citizens.  Hard to know the difference when you see them.

But But according to what he told Greta he wasn't being treated.  His own father said he was being treated.

Joran was treated for being a psycho.  So he changed it in his book to pathological.  At least he used a word that started with P.

Logic dictates if Beth Twitty and Dave Holloway included this allegation in regards to counselling in their lawsuit again Paulus and Joran ... they must have had a foundation to draw on.

I'm trying to catch up from last night and trying to absorb all that you guys have been talking about. Almost caught up to real time until I get dragged away from here by the family.  Monkeys are so very smart and I do agree with you that this case was solved 2 days into it but due to the ineptness, coverups & lies her we sit trying with every inch of our souls to find where Natalee is, to be her voice and for her family to have the closure they need. I'm in full agreement with Robots too (I hate them ALL) and am trying to be optimistic.  
In reference to this being so screwed up by a very disfunctional family & their friends who have done nothing but add layers & layers of hurt on Beth, Dave, & their families, I do hope Karma does bite hard. They keep adding insults after insults with their propaganda stuff of "oh poor Aruba". Well, ya' know Aruba???  You've done this to yourself, you could of avoided it. Instead, you've tried to throw it under the rug and thought (which was your very first mistake) this would all go away just like you've tried to do with Max, but it hasn't. When hurricane Beth arrived she knew then what was going on even in her hurt & shocked world. I hope the KLPD can find the closure for this hurting family. This just has been an unreal situation. If they claim they have nothing to hide, well all that has to be done is for the truth to be told.  Sorry about the rant

 Most of the ones here in my area.. are very nice foks.. men and women. They do alot for others. Have their bike runs and all.  They just had a blessing of the bikes here recently. They do that every year.

The following is part of a document posted at Michelle's Aruban Boycott  site that relates to what Beth claimed Paulus stated in regards to when he picked up Joran.  Earlier this year the Superior Court when denying Paulus' motion for further compensation acknowledged that a wiretap and a declaration confirms Beth's claims ... Paulus did initially claim he picked up Joran in the morning hours of May 30, 2007.

Beth has claimed from day one that Paulus Van der Sloot stated on the morning of May 31, 2005 in front of his residence that he had driven to McDonalds at 4:00 AM on the morning that Natalee went missing to pick up Joran and ?. This info was recorded in her journal, and witnessed by all others at the Van der Sloot residence that night. Within two and half weeks of that encounter, Paulus Van der Sloot denied Beth's claims and insisted that he had stated that he had picked up Joran at 11:00 PM on the evening of Mar 29, 2005.

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY: Oh -- oh, it`s a very critical detail. And the night that we arrived on the island -- you know, Jug does not misinterpret a 4:00 AM time pickup to 11:00 PM. Then -- we don`t know who they were, but then even as far as June 16 and June 17, Mr. Van Der Sloot was still stating this 4:00 AM pickup. Only until around -- maybe it was when he was picked up or arrested did he change it to 11:00 PM that I had knowledge of.

I am curious about that too Tylergal . In one of PVDS statements he did say he picked them .
