I had to step away this afternoon.  I really hoped that I was living a nightmare and would come back tonight and we'd still be waiting on a verdict. 

I can't watch the news, listen to anything online.  My blood pressure can't take it.  Could some sweet monkey please tell me if the jury gave an interview where they explained their thinking?  I'm really afraid that someone paid that jury off.

I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone. I am struggling to accept this verdict, even though I realize I must. I hope Zenaida and anyone else who can sues the pants off KC. I cannot stand the idea that she's going to profit from this. And seriously...are G and C just gonna let her come home...home to "molesting" daddy? God help us!

I hope someone is investigating the jurors because something just isn't right here.  Something stinks.

Wow.  What can I say that hasn't already been said?  I started on page 105 or so and had to stop at page 133.  Totally heartbroken here.

Dear Caylee, You will always be precious to millions of people across the world.  And you will be in our hearts...always.  We won't forget you, little love.

I will read Suppertime for Frieda Fuzzypaws to my children often.  And each time I do, I will say a silent prayer to Caylee to tell her I'm thinking of her and I'm sorry justice was denied her. 

That is a really nice sentiment and a wonderful idea.  I think that the next time any of us reads a book to a child, any child, we should say a prayer and dedicate it to Caylee.  Pass the idea on...let's all read stories to Caylee in Heaven. 


 


Dear Scared Monkeys,

Today was no doubt awful.  No legal justice for Caylee.  I've only been a member for a few weeks but in that time I've become so impressed with the work everyone has done here for Caylee.  So many of you have been working on this for over three years and I think that you've done just as great of a job as the State did.  Too bad the jurors are idiots.   All of you loving and hardworking Scared Monkeys should be proud of yourselves for fighting so hard for her.  If Caylee could, I'm sure she'd want to give each and every one of you a big hug.

There may have not been legal justice for Caylee today, but there has been Monkey Justice in abundance.  Bless you all.

I did the same (stepped away a bit). The jury didn't give any interviews...however I read (didn't see it myself) that an alternate gave and interview and said they felt george was involved. I wonder how he knew this, given they weren't supposed to dicuss the trial amongst themselves and the alternates were sequestered away from the rest. Interesting!

remember back when jb said a pre juror tried to speak in spanish and she was released. Maybe just maybe he did speak with her and sent back some message thru her before she was dismissed. right then and there i wondered how she got access to jb?

Prety sad when you hear that if George Anthony had have come off as credible, Casey would probably be a convicted child killer right now.

I often had the thought during the trial that if George could sit stonefaced while all kinds of wild allegations were being lodged against him, how come he suddenly got all thin-skinned and weirdly hostill when Bozo was questioning him? I think he did exactly what we suspected he would do. Deny, yet act hostile, anti-Casey, evasive and impeachable enough on the stand to make Bozo's accusations resonate with the jury. I believe all three A's played their parts to the hilt. Let them now suffer the consequences.

How many of these jurors will go home to a family that's going to look at them and say, WTH?   Especially those with small children or grandchildren.  They won't find a peaceful night's sleep for a long time.

I do believe in God. I do believe in justice. There is a reason every single juror voted not guilty. Every single one including the alternates that we've heard. Caylee had to have intervened. I firmly believe that. I also believe that if the dp wasn't brought to the table that Casey would have been convicted to 25 years or more.

I'm scared, though, bc not only do I believe in God but I'm a science buff. The science behind what the Prosecution presented was dead on. I'm with Turbo's son - the science flew right over the jury's heads. That's why they didn't buy into some of the evidence...bc they can't "see" it. The glitch in the computer program - well the computer programmer knows this. Not bringing everybody in to testify confused me. Amy should have been allowed to talk about the stealing. Why couldn't Casey's MySpace & Facebook posts be brought in front of the jury? Why? It's part of the frigging timeline. Where's Caylee's pediatrician?

Let's not forget she actually didn't have a job. I never understood why she wasn't on Welfare. Why? She could have gotten daycare, free college after her GED, money for food, etc. If she really wanted to be a decent mom, why didn't she consider this? Or did she but we just don't know?

Omgosh I'm stepping away. I don't understand.

As much as I hate to admit it....you might very well be right. I wanted to believe GA was at least one sincere one in the family.
