These are the jail employees that were added on 8/30/10

these are the people that BOZO wanted Kc  to be able to attend their depos

I can't wait to hear what these people have to say...so does Kc really not remember them and is fearful of what they might say....OR does she absolutely remember them and is fearful of what they WILL say!

Melissa Fleming
 Tracey Hall
Maria Kelly
Tasheka Mackey
 Tiffany Moss
Ileana Santiago
 Mark Underhill
 Megan Valdivia

I can't wait to see what they have to say, too!    KC just can't shut her mouth, can she?
Wouldn't it be a blast to see her take the stand?    It will never happen but it would be fun to watch.    Monkey Devil!

Good Morning Sassy!!   I would LOVE to see her take the stand!!!  I am really surprise that the A's are not speaking out about anything....looks like they finally started listening to their attorney.....and it might be that they finally realize THEY have the duhfense guns pointed right at them....BANG....

Good Morning Monkeys!

This issue about the duct tape....are we supposed to believe that the tape was used to secure the bag or even something else and it worked itself free and landed on both sides of Caylee's head in her hair and just happened to lay across her face???  Come on..... if the tape had been attached to plastic it would have never worked free. Reaching.....

Why Baez hasn't deposed witnesses until now is perfectly clear to me.....loss of memory as time goes by.  Had he deposed these witnesses in the beginning as he should have, everything would have gone against his client. It still will, it just may take a little longer to pull out the facts.  Baez can stall as long as he wants, (well, not any more lol) but the end result will be the same and he knows it.

So does the touch DNA guy from the Netherlands get to conduct the exam here in the US or no?

Hi tupelo!!  I agree, the end results will be the same...guilty verdict!  I think he will be allowed to conduct the test...however it will be in a US lab......thank goodness....there will be people there at the lad who will know if this guy tries and hanky panky

Touch DNA - Overview

There is only one case that I can find where touch DNA was allowed to be used in a trial. I think it was in March of this year and I haven't found the outcome of it yet.  I am still searching. Common sense would a person that ANYONE who touched a garment could have shed cells on it. From the worker who sewed it, to the person who packed it in a box, to the store clerk who hung it on a hanger in the store, to the cashier who folded it and placed it in the store bag. Then we have any person who has handled it anywhere along the way.

If I were the prosecution I would contend that even if they found any DNA on a garment that they had to find the person it belonged to for it to be evidence because of the hundreds of possibilities for it to be attached to the garment unlike regular DNA.

Good Morning Monks!  Turbo, would you please post the ink to the case you found....I'd like to read more on this and there isn't a lot of data...thanks

Thanks Trimm, we can check that off our list. Now....will Baez go through with this touch DNA testing since he can't use his man? Or just stick with the same testing the state did on *ALL* of the laundry bag and shorts?  Time will tell I guess.

<snip>
There was one ugly scene during the recitation of the names [of witnesses still needing to be deposed by the duh-fense]. When it came to Amy Huizenga, it was explained that she was working on a cruise ship and was only available on Saturdays when the ship docked in Miami. Cheney Mason approached the podium to tell the judge what HE  thought of the idea of a trip to Miami on a weekend. He told the judge he didn't care about her work schedule and she would just have to take time off for his convenience!

Kudos to Linda Drane Burdick for standing up for Amy. She did wait around in the area for a year and a half and had been available at her workplace, "down the street".

<end of excerpt>

I feel SO sorry for poor Amy!  Amy liked Caylee.  She thought Casey was her friend.  What misfortune, to have been taken in by this sociopath, lied to, led on, faked out, used, betrayed, manipulated, robbed, left homeless, and to have had her name involved forever in a tragic, disturbing, highly-publicized murder case... Lost her status as a private citizen minding her own business... It all seems so unfair to her!

I've often pondered how different things might have been, if Amy had decided to cover for Casey when Cindy called her cell phone on July 15, 2008.  What if Amy had thought to herself, "Casey and her mom have issues with each other... here is her mom calling me, trying to track down Casey... wow, I got back from a trip... I really, really don't want any part of this family drama... I'll just tell her I don't know where Casey is... I don't want to get involved in this mess..."

Can you imagine?  If Amy had not led Cindy to Casey on that fateful day?

Bless you, Amy.  And thank you for your integrity and the contribution you will make toward Justice for Caylee.  I hope you can move on after all of this and that you will be able to enjoy a happy and trouble-free post-Casey life.

Casey Anthony’s lawyers had a Dutch scientist lined up to do the testing for free, but the judge ruled the evidence cannot be taken out of the country, and must be done by a scientist accredited in the U.S. -- which the Dutch scientist is not.

Has anyone found the order on this?  I am not sure cfnews13 got this right....I just called them and they do not have the order to refer to.....I thought it was discussed that the E's were trying to establish a lab here in the US ...... many of us felt that was next to impossible....I thought it was agreed they could conduct the tests but it had to be in the US at an accredited lab....

WESH and WFTV do not have anything that I was able to find on their websites regarding the actual order......trim??????

I may be all wrong and CFnews13 all right...I just find it odd that the other stations don't have anything on their sites about it???

He told the judge he didn't care about her work schedule and she would just have to take time off for his convenience!

Kudos to Linda Drane Burdick for standing up for Amy. She did wait around in the area for a year and a half and had been available at her workplace, "down the street".

Hi Desi....I never thought about Amy doing anything other than what she did....and I am sure glad she did.  So many people's lives have been forever changed by simply knowing Kc......and I honestly can't think of one person who would now standing up and say....I am glad I met Kc.....what a record.

Hi Sunny and Desi,
I have to agree with you about Amy's integrity. Sweet Amy!
And it's kinda funny to think of knowing Casey... you are so right... what a waste. I try to look for a lesson in every mistake by Casey doesn't even fit into that catagory. Instead she has ruined and crippled everyone in her path.

Casey Defense To Search Docs For New Witness
Lawyers Hoping To Find Volunteer Who Searched Area, Found Nothing

POSTED: 4:18 pm EDT September 30, 2010
UPDATED: 5:01 pm EDT September 30, 2010
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Next week, Casey Anthony’s defense team will search through thousands of Texas Equusearch records.

Anthony’s lawyers are hoping to find a credible volunteer who will say that he or she searched in an area where Caylee Anthony’s remains were later found but nothing was discovered at the time.

Prosecutors already have several sworn statements from volunteers who say that the area was submerged, increasing the likelihood that the remains were placed there before the rains came and Casey Anthony was locked up.
This week, Anthony’s defense argued successfully to do its own trace DNA testing on a laundry bag and a pair of shorts believed to be Caylee Anthony’s. Both items were found with her remains off of Suburban Drive.

Defense attorney Richard Hornsby said the defense hopes to argue that a third party put the girl’s remains in the woods.

“That's what the defense is banking on: third-party DNA and DNA still being there. It rebuts what prosecutors have been saying the whole time,” Hornsby said.

Prosecutors say the laundry bag contains no DNA, because the site where the bag and remains were found was under water for weeks.

Hornsby said the defense’s strategy could backfire.
“Either you find someone else's DNA, the only DNA you find is the Anthony’s, or you find none at all. The last two exclude the defense's argument that there was a third party. That can hurt them more than help them,” he said.

And it's kinda funny to think of knowing Casey... you are so right... what a waste. I try to look for a lesson in every mistake by Casey doesn't even fit into that catagory. Instead she has ruined and crippled everyone in her path.

She has done one thing.  She has given birth to the most wonderful little girl, who, by her very life, short as it was, has changed the lives and hearts of millions.  Caylee will undoubtedly be a catalyst of change for many laws to come, as she already has been (not bailing on your client).  We will forever remember that cute face and those eyes whose pools you can drown in.  How anyone could harm one hair  on that child's head, even if they were angry, goes so far beyond my comprehension that it brings me to my knees.  As much as we can despise what the Anthony family has done, they have given the world Caylee to love, cherish, and be a vessel of change.  Caylee was here, in her very short life, for a reason, (see  my signature line)  Caylee's mind is forever erased from all of the horror she lived through.

God bless you, Caylee, little angel with a huge burden.

Trimmy, I was hoping you picked that avi for us to enjoy!

I took notice of the headline you just posted:

Right away, I thought they must be looking for the person who read Baez last brain scan.
