Some have mentioned there might be a deal in the works.  Now that LE has recovered Caylee's body, why would they allow a deal at all for Casey or immunity for the A's? 

Good question. Even if they take the attitude that it would save the State money, I can't imagine that they would be willing to cut a sweet deal for Casey because as you said, I think they have what they need for a conviction.

Thanks CBB, then hopefully the defense won't even go there and try it. 

You know, Wyks, I just don't know how to call it. I believe that the discovery phase will direct the defense on how to proceed. They'll see the forensics. They already know how damning the circumstantial evidence is. I just don't know. Part of what the defense would try to plead, I'm sure, is a lesser charge; anything other than murder one.

Sure will be interesting to watch how it all falls together.  Am expecting the defense to use delay as a tactic since they don't seem to have much else.

Hope my typing doesn't get all screwy.  It's 1 degree here, have the heater on to the max I want to pay for, so am wearing toasty warm gloves.   Makes typing a bit interesting.

So I've been thinking about motive...and sorry if this has been said before...but I still think it was an accident.


I think the night Cindy and Casey fought, when CA choked Casey, Caylee watched. And at some point after the fight,  in the bedroom together, Caylee acted out, mocked Casey (as children innocently do), and Casey choked Caylee. Too long. Either her frustrations got the better of her, or she didn't realize she was holding on too long. I think somewhere in the pathology of it all is the fact that her mom reated to her this way in anger and so she would do it too. Because regardless if Casey is an adult or what she had done, this was abuse, and a way to make abuse seem less traumatic is to commit the same act. Maybe in a part of her mind she was jealous, she woudl choke Cindy's prode and joy...see how Caylee liked it...and in comes the spiteful bitch comment. But I don't think her game plan was to kill Caylee.

Sit up, and you won't keep falling over on your computer and shutting the lid !     

That book is one for a really young child, I think they call them board books.  The pages are like plastic so they don't tear up easily.  I have some of that kind saved from when my boys were young. so I can see how it would have survived being in the water and I'm guessing that's what it was.

Buds Girl, that was awesome info.  I had wondered how the books pages were turned, yet not torn. That must be the book then, and it must have been Caseys..i know echo. But i had to clarify that casey did indeed know caylee took the book to grandpas because she was the one that downloaded the pictures onto the computer.

You know I don't remember that part about Casey & Kiomarie dressing in all black.   She put her so close to the road, I can't see her hanging around there for a while but this is Casey we're talking about.  What do you think she might have done ?

Well let's see.  a) She knew she had a car that ran out of gas a lot.  b.) There supposedly were scratches on the trunk of her car.   So she probably backed the car into the brush as far as she could at night.  She may have brought a flashlight with her, not wanting to leave car lights on.  She didn't want to run out of gas with body in the car so she dropped her close to home.  That also gave her some leverage on learning whether the body was discovered. I doubt she spent much time there not wanting to bring attention to herself.  She may have gone back another day without the car, but i don't know if she was that emotional about it.  Or more wanting to detach. 

That's as far as I can figure right now.

LOL Thanks!  And yep, 1 degree as in one.  Nebraska here with a couple of inches of snow.     My doxie has burrowed his way so far under the blankets on the bed I can't even see a lump there.  lol 

But I do understand it's hard to resist making fun, especially some truly funny typos as in earlier!
