Monkey Friends, I am always getting here late to catch up on what is happening in your world. Wow, yesterday was a tough one. It just reminds me that this world has it's heartache and sorrows and we never really never know what another is going through. So I come here to read and laugh a little, cry a little and pray a lot. I believe that no matter how bad the circumstance God can cause good to come from it. Your heartaches are not without meaning, although you may not see that right now. You don't know the good that will come from these trials. You may be the one and only blessing that someone experiences this day. The way you care for and support each other is such a beautiful thing. I am reminded that everyone I encounter is fighting some kind of battle. My prayer is that I make their load a little lighter when I can.

 Good Morning will be leaving soon for the airport, had another incident happen yesterday, my son in law ruined their car in an accident, nobody hurt, but here is the kicker, we did not know that he didn't have his own insurance, he just assumed because we cover my daugher he was on it too. My husband is very upset, so after we get home from the airport this now will be dealt with. I'm xanaxed up and ready to go

WASHINGTON -- A former Marine who fought in Iraq, joined the State Department after leaving the military and was a diplomat in a Taliban stronghold in Afghanistan has become the first U.S. official to resign in protest of the Afghan war, the Washington Post reported early Tuesday.

Matthew Hoh, who describes himself as "not some peacenik, pot-smoking hippie who wants everyone to be in love," said he believes the war is simply fueling the insurgency.

"I have lost understanding of and confidence in the strategic purposes of the United States' presence in Afghanistan," Hoh wrote in his resignation letter, dated Sept. 10 but published early Tuesday. "I have doubts and reservations about our current strategy and planned future strategy, but my resignation is based not upon how we are pursuing this war, but why and to what end.
