Trial dates set for Buskirk and Crosley

It is a likely that this will be a long court process - with many details still unfolding.

News 10 spent the afternoon in the Greene County courtroom. The family of one suspect, Crosley, was in the courtroom as well, but they did not want to make a public comment

Who was not in the courtroom is of note: Neither suspect was there. Nor were the public defenders, prosecution, or judge for this case.

This entire pre-trial conference was behind closed doors. But News 10 has confirmed that this is common for Greene County.

In today's meeting between the attorneys and judge they did work on setting trial dates. That's standard for this type of hearing.

News 10 has learned that Buskirk’s trial will be first, set for February 3 of next year. Crosley's trial date is scheduled for March 3 of next year as well.

Hearings on both cases will continue between now and then.

The family of the victim was also not at the courthouse but News 10 was able to get a comment from the stepmother of Wolfe.

"We're doing ok,” Laura Wolfe said, “I'm glad they're moving forward to get justice for Katelyn."
