Lone you are local right? Did you by chance go to the memorial? Words do not fully express the feeling surrounding that area. it was so quiet, no one was talking but everyone was there together. 

I have seen Sandra in person before. I had not written about it I don't think. My work had taken me to the mobile home park a time or two. I was struck at the sense of community there and by the way the kids always played together . The older kids watched the younger ones. Adults were out talking...I recall seeing Sandra running around  with a few other children. She stood out because she was absolutely beautiful and full of life. she was the type that are just noticed I suppose, a type it seemed people were drawn to. Even in death she had that ability to draw people to her. I along with many others will never forget her.

BTW, if you all would like me to go place flowers or a stuffed monkey, I will. I am planning on going there sometime soon.

What a WONDERFUL and touching post Tracy!!!!!!

No, I am not in Tracy and did not attend her Memorial.  I am about 1-2 hours away.  But she captured something inside my heart and I can't let go!  Perhaps it was her incredible embodiment of what a childhood SHOULD be...skipping happily worry-free.  Innocent.  Pure. 
Or
Maybe it's because someone tried to abduct me, too when I was 8...
But that was a stranger so I knew to RUN...
How could Sandra ever in her wildest imagination even know an adult could be capable of such heinous cruelty???  She never stood a chance.

These cases....Caylee, Adji, Haleigh, Sandra....and many more!
Have stirred something SO deep inside of me this past year.  I wish I were an Angel and I could save them all....
But I am mortal.
Still, I have a burning desire for JUSTICE...
Just like you Monkeys!

Sister - Can you be so kind as to refresh my memory on the date of the marriage of Gary D Lawless and Marilyn Short Tieken Lawless Gomes? I recall they divorced a month later. I am trying to figure out on the Texas/Ok/KS if the Gary D Lawless, deceased 1975 near DeBerry, is our guy. His Mom is a Betty (not sure) Lawless. He seems to potentially have some sort of infirmery from 1968- till his death in 1975.

I checked ALL public listings for cemeteries (including Family Cemeteries) in Grants Pass, Oregon.
NONE of them seem to be the one that shows up across the street from:
501 Lawless Lane
Grant Pass, Oregon
Lawless Roofing/Donald Lawless w/ connections to Pastor Lawless as "President".
This baby girl, is in fact the only Lawless listed as buried in Grants Pass, that I could find.
So watcha think about that Monkeys???
