Can somebody please help me out and tell me how they can charge her with child abuse??? I mean, I know she killed her so I guess it goes hand in hand, but why make a separate charge for it? Or are they saying she knocked her out and someone else actually killed her... or vice versa?? Please help, thanks!

Maybe GA did more talking today than we all realize.  If that's the case, I wouldn't want to go home either if I was in his position.

when a child dies either naturally or un-naturally due to criminal circumstances... a couple often ends up divorced... It even happened to Beth Holloway.

It happens and is a tragic side effect to losing a child. No one wants to see the circle of pain continue here, especially me. I do have a heart.

In the case of the Anthony family there was no one who had any inner strength. Inner strength is not something you develop later in life. You either have it or you don't.

The Anthony family is a family that knew right from wrong, but no one had the guts it takes to stand up and be an ally to the most defenseless and needy person in the family - Caylee. George included, and he never led BY EXAMPLE. Leading by example is finding out what happened to your granddaughter, not jerking everyone around and striking old ladies. By the way - he still has to answer for that. It's not going away. The real George is the hot head that threw his dad through the window, who bullied the little guy on the driveway, who jerked law-enforcement around while trying to FIND HIS GRANDDAUGHTER, who lied repeatedly, who coddled his killer daughter. That's the real George, not the sorry sap some are feeling so sorry for.

When you have a family like that - there are bound to be problems. More so than the normal everyday problems we all face daily.

You are certainly entitled to your own opinion but God forbid anything ever happen to you - where your life is completely opened to the public- the good and bad revealed. Judged by everyone.

Wow, JoySquared, while I understand your current sympathy for George given his statement this morning, I too felt sympathy, you have to look back at the actions of this family, they include George.  He did a LOT of misleading things of his own and he too was drinking the kool aid at one time, and still could be.  We do not know what his testimony was in the GJ today, it could be the same BS they all have been shooting out from the get go. 
It is sad that this family has been put under a microscope and examined to the 100th power, but its in these times that we are tested by fire that our true colors are revealed.  IMO the true colors of the Anthony's was not that of a family in critical search of their grandchild but rather a bunch of chickens running arround blaming everyone in their path for their DAUGHTERS issues...they took the focus off their granddaughter every possible way they could, all the while claiming that they were not.
YES I do think that George may be coming around, MAYBE, but IMO its too little too late.  BUT atleast, if he is giving TRUTHFULL testimony, atleast he is FINALLY doing so.  Sorry but my personal opinion jury is still out....

I agree. This is an extremely tragic story and these are real people. I have been totally disgusted by the way people have acted throughout this ordeal, especially the protesters at the Anthony home. I have followed along some, but really have not been able to stomach much of this. A family has been destroyed and a little girl is dead. I wish people would try to show some true compassion. And posters, please try to get over yourselves. I feel for Klaas and the other mods during this one, also. Sheesh! I don't know how you all have managed. 

Yes sympathy is what separates us from sociopathic people.  I am very happy CA is back in jail,  and she deserves the most sever  punishment the law can give,  but yes even though her mother has made some totally stupid statements, I do feel some pity and sympathy for her, she is broken, and may never heal.  The love of their lives is gone (Caylee), and nothing could be harder than having to admit that your own child was responsible. I dont think she will ever allow herself to believe that.  I think George has admitted it, and he is broken to.  Their lives have been destroyed by their own child.

I watch the court thing today and there was a second indictment handed down after they read CA and it to also was sealed ....... I wonder what that one was and who it was for .... surley OCSO was watching this person also....

First We all have witnessed his Character - he is quiet and calm in demeanor until he Breaks and he Out lashes
I have said this before many many weeks ago - George has been and has always been 2nd Dog in the House. He has never been the King of his Castle. He doesn't even Own the Castle.

K - so Cindy is the Control. Its Her Rules " NO Matter What" - No Matter that Casey is creating financial ruin with their Credit, Credit Cards ... Its a CASEY Free For ALL.

He has been the Red Headed Step Child since Day One in all of this. He has been Cindy's whipping post and Casey's as well.

He has been the EYES and EARS within the household - Everyday because he Can't Say or command any rules within the house - or Can stand and say this is wrong or this is not to be tolerated - by Cindy.
Cindy controls him - in every shape and form.

Today he Broke his Silence - and He knows more than any of us know.
Lee is a product of all of this and is the closest to Casey.

Lee is going to be the Turning Point and Can offer the last screw to be turned - IF he doesn't side with Cindy - therefore if he does suit up with MOM -

Will be for Lee worse Case Scenario to Side with Cindy and He knows that

will come down to him being legally served

No one is sure who the 2nd POI is, whether it’s Lee Anthony or one of the many characters in the Casey Anthony saga. Fox 35 made the announcement, they individual has NOT been named, at this time.

I have been watching fox live and i never heard them say that their was a 2nd poi..I could be wrong..I did get a cup of coffee i might have missed it

mrsrocko, POI could mean a variety of things. If the DNA was revealed and I think there is a high probability that it was... Lee (according to Padilla) is the father of Caylee - he could be a POI in other regards and not disposal or as an actual accomplice.

Judge Belvin Perry is threatening REPORTERS and anyone else who might have heard the testimony with contempt. The first person to testify was George - it is logical to assume that he was heard outside of the GJ room. Who else was heard before the error was discovered? who knows...

I think it is important to mention that it was the Media who reported this malfunction to the judge. (That the sound was being transmitted to them.)

I totally agree with your post. I don't understand why Beary is threatening the media when the error was specifically on the their end. Its no ones fault but whoever dealt with audio stuff. JMO

Nope it was on the prior thread - today.  CA is sitting down at round table w/ a pictue of Caylee on it!  On a porch!  It was a long interview.  It ends with her laughing saying she is going to be in trouble!

7:14 p.m. Casey Anthony has been taken from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office to jail. Photo above shows Casey, in eyeglasses, being taken to a car for the trip). Her jail mug is not yet available — it is expected after 8 p.m. She will have a first appearance on the new charges before a judge either Wednesday morning or afternoon, depending on when she officially is booked.

Set up in the morning to dress app to be arrested.  When was she ever covered up so much?  I hate to say it but she actually looks like she has somewhat of a brain in this picture.  I feel sick now thinking about it but I am VERY happy with the verdict.
