Thanks Mishy...hang in there..just start substituting behaviors..meaning when you want to smoke..drink water or chew sugar free gum. Or get up and walk around or get in the car and do your shopping..anything to change your mindset.

I've had to postpone my own, scheduled nervous breakdown. Several other family members are taking theirs right now, and someone has to remain rational.

Does a good job... does have some side effects...
but WE still have to have the mental attitude to STOP.!!

I cut in 1/2 ...which was big for me .. even with feeling sick at times...
Had to start some other meds  and  it was just too weird all of the time.
Dropped the Chantix.. but plan on getting the mind right and hitting it again.

JMO of course

Y'all - I used to teach a stop smoking program for a big hospital.

Sometime tomorrow I will put a list of stop smoking tips in the lounge for anyone who is interested in them. They always seemed to help our patients a lot.
