Yes, he did as though KJ wants Joran released as badly as he does.  Well, maybe she does, after all.   She sure hasn't done much to bring him to trial but doesn't he realize that even if released, Joran can just be brought right back in if any evidence has excaped destruction.

If early on it was Paulus talking to Carlo, that part might not be confidential, not sure if relatives of the client are included in the attorney client confidence privilege, etc.  Maybe they are allowed to tell what relatives say.

Evidently Crazy Joe just called in without being asked to.  Nothing was said about his being on the program until suddenly there he was screaming in the phone, like it was not planned or anticipated??

He has nothing to do with Aruba, only NY so why is he so hysterical about all this?  Oh, for one thing, he promied the sloots to make people stop saying "bad things" (read the truth) about his delinquent client.  Guess he hates it when he is powerless to do that.  

He can't control what people say or what people think or what people know and he might as well get over it.

 

I think I posted earlier that it was always my opinion that the meeting with JoeT was planned before the van der Sloots got to NY and were served.  I think he was hired to quash the statements being made about Joran and Paulus by discrediting them and threatening to sue people.  Apparently he is still working on that.  The reason I suspect that C&C and the Excelsior are putting up money is obvious - if Joran is found guilty, they are both culpable since Joran should NOT have been in their establishments and if he hadn't been, Natalee would be alive.

At least Guido thinks it was something special evidently from the statement he has given in this regard.  Jossy says it is in the record.

Not really.  It's all about the events of the same weekend.  Van der Straaten is removed from the case, Dompig and Croes announce the confession and the suspects leading them to the remains, and then Monday morning van der Straaten is back on the case and statements about confessions and bodies are gone.  If that's correct, then I think we have our answer.

Again, I think there's alot of misunderstanding here about what is said down there.

I think it's pretty clear that Jossy telling what Dompig said about they have a case because the boys did kidnap and do something sexual with Nat, then he goes on to say because the boys were driving and in the car while things were being done to Nat.

It's just a simple repeat of what we've read in the statements.

It's just that folks in aruba seem to say things enough differently with regard to tense, gender, and descriptives that they come out different here with our interpretations.

I guess part of my reason to try to explain things the way I do is just my KISS, but also because, especially now because of the DeVries show, I don't want all the new Dutch types to come here and see everyone discussing things that are almost as off the wall as some of the things from RWV and RU.

Course it's really none of my business, but I just have a thing for reasonable credibility.

Maybe Guido will become jealous of being replaced by that little curly headed guy and spill the beans.

Well, I really don't know anymore about the 'facts' than you do, I just have my interpretation of what's been posted.

The original posts about the Guido statement and Jossy's answer on a question about that statement just don't lead me to interpret the responses as saying there was anything gay going on.

I still maintain it's a difference understanding what the word 'relationship' means and how it may have been intended by Guido or how it was recorded by the ALE. Again there's a couple of different languages involved and translations and probably some slang or colloquialisms in the way as well.

He would have held better credibility if he kept himself together
but he lost it
