Sharon,

When my job was eliminated, I had been working with a 22 year old programmer.  He subsequently relocated from FL to another state, and eventually found a better job.  I had sent him an email prior to that and he responded giving me his personal email address, asking that I keep in touch.  I received 2 emails with maybe 2 sentences each in a year, which didn't surprise me....why would someone his age want to email a woman older than his mother?.  I guess you can say, I agree about Betty & Deepak corresponding.  Laughing Laughing

I don't blame him -- you are a real sweety

But it's not just the age difference 2NJ -- IMO Deepak has some deep 'social' disorders.

I find it hard to accept that he befriends an elderly female customer at work and has a need to stay in touch with her. I would find it hard to accept that he befriends any tourist -- for 'friendship'.

klaas I wasn't suggesting that you believed it! And I really appreciate you bringing things over from 'that place'  Laughing Laughing

My experience was due to a working relationship, but it does make me think of what kind of business relationship could be had by this Betty & Deepak during her visit(s) at Internet Cafe.  Just thinking...

Some of this assumes Valenyjin is actually on Aruba. I'm still not sure about that one. The kids weren't there til Paulus need an alibi himself.

A parent or a child as an alibi is not an alibi in my opinion.

According to WW:

interesting that only half of the question is answered. And remember, we think Deepak is innocent and some of this is upsetting.

I bet it is!!!!

I am still wondering how they think Deepak hasn't been thrown under the bus?  If Hodges says it's a confession by Deepak...then it goes to question why WW thinks this is sucha  good idea.  I guess I don't understand their logic.  Also, was this email sent after the failed attempt for Deepak to get an alibi out of his younger friend that had enough smarts to talk to the FBI?

If you read all of WW's posts over the past couple days at RU, WW doesn't think it was such a good idea NOW.

The email was sent June 5th, I'm not sure if that was prior to or after Deepak's younger friend went to the FBI...I'd have to research that one.

I have not read Hodges book but from what I understand, Hodges is saying the writer of the email is guilty.  No matter if Deepak is the author or someone else like Joran or Paulus.

iirc -- Deepak called his 'friend' for an alibi when he found out the gardner reported the 'sighting' at the pond. Someone mentioned the 'gardner' to Deepak during a game of prison checkers, iirc.

So that would be after the 5th since Deepak wasn't arrested until the 9th (iirc).

It also means that Deepak had pretty liberal phone privilieges while in jail. Apparently you can call friends for alibi's while incarcerated.

Unless I have the order of things all messed up Confused

I understand the theory that whoever wrote the emails (wrote as in composed them, not typed them) is admitting guilt, what is interesting to me is does this now mean that WW will admit that they weren't written by Deepak after all?

That Anita or Paulus wrote the emails and instructed Deepak to put them on the internet?  Nope. Can't do that.

That Satish was actually writing them instead of Deepak? Nope...Satish probably can't speak well enough to compose such an email (well, he is still in high school, isn't he?)

That Deepak is indeed the author/composer of said emails and he is "guilty as hell" and right along with his brother and Joran killed Natalee?  Had sex with her?  Nope, then he will be admitting that Jamie Skeeters was right and that it is as we have suspected all along.

I guess the best I can muster at this point is a huge ROFLMAO response.  What a quandry....indeed!  Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I think that WW is far more than just a friend of Betty.  She was here from the beginning.
She was always posting against any logical train of thought.
Strange that she has been invisible for so long and magically shows up
when RU starts talking about Hodges book.
Something just real fishy about WW.

Sharon
Their system is so messed up over there...I am beginning to think that being in KIA provides all manner of luxury that our prison system can't hold a candle to.  Imagine that!

Hello Magnolia!   So good to see you in here.  I agree with you...that relationship was one of the more strange relationships I saw among the perps and posters.  The truth is somewhere in between.

I have always thought that WW had a "not so hidden" agenda.
She is smart, but wicked.
I have to wonder what she is pushing now.
Why come forward at this point?

She often comes forward when Deepak is involved in the discussion.
