Deenie..I agree it would not take longer then a NY minute for me to be on the phone saying I was not responsible for those charges. 

And did Casey have a month long spending spree.. to the tune of $45,000.  Where the heck do spend that kind of money in one month with nothing virtually to show for it?  I mean if she made purchases of clothing etc..Cindy could have told her to return the clothing.  But from what Shirley says it sounds like Cindy instead paid off the charges..which is beyond incredible to me as the parent of a 23 year old.

I know people are taking the quote from Shirley very seriously where she says Casey could use a good throttling...but I do not believe there was any physical abuse to Casey ever.  I do not see what Casey is doing as "acting out".  CASEY IS A SOCIOPATH..end of story.   And the story about the argument on the 15th when Cindy supposedly had her hands around Casey's throat ..well to me that part is just another of Casey's story's.  Cindy has never verified that and Lee says no one else was there at that time..that was just what Casey told him. The neighbors heard a loud argument, but no one other then Casey has ever mentioned anything physical.  So I chalk that up to Casey making excuses for her poor behaviour by blaming someone else......Cindy again gets to be her scapegoat. 

I think Shirley meant that Casey was out of control and someone needed to bring her back in line..and jail to her seemed to be the answer.  She just wouldn't prosecute Casey because of Cindy.

I think Casey is a sociopath pure and simple and this was just one more of her ways of killing two birds with one stone....no more Caylee to hamper her single life and the ultimate hurt to her Mom..all in one fell swoop.  And I don't think she will ever confess and I don't think she thinks about the family or Caylee much at all.  I think now her main focus is beating this rap with as little time as possible so she can go back to living the good life.  It is in comprehensible to her that she will not be able to finagle her way out of this anymore then any of her other little schemes.

Good post.   I know I shouldn't say this.. but I will.   If Shirley or CA had prosecuted her for stealing the checks, Caylee might still be alive.    History would have been written differently.

I agree..had the Bank of America pressed charges and Shirley..rather then Cindy offer to pay this back..then Caylee may have been alive..if they had incarcerated Casey.  But how many days or months do you serve for check fraud?  I don't think it is much and Casey would have been out and back to her games.  I think even if Cindy had gotten custody of Caylee...the end would have been the same...Casey would have atleast been allowed visitation..and Cindy would have allowed her to take Caylee places..like Disney.............so under the guise of taking her somewhere ..I think Casey would have done the same thing to Caylee and to hurt Cindy.  No matter how I try to look at this..the result always seems the same..if Casey is the sociopath we believe, then she didn't just kill her daughter in anger..she knew eventually that was how this would end.

What a sick freak Casey is..I hope she never sees the outside world again.

Yes, he is the same lawyer for all.  He was also there when LE was questioning DC.  However, before the tape went off he said yes someone else told him.  I don't know if BC let him say anything or not but it was something I hadn't heard before. 

I just hope he told them something.  He also said before the tape went off that it wasn't george or cindy, so i don't  think he said anything about them.

I do too.    As close as he is to CA, do you think he would say anything to hurt Casey's defense?   I've been wondering if he would imply someone else did it, (maybe like try to frame someone else).   Not saying he did, just thinking outloud, pondering the possibilities.

I want to see those, too!   I bet they tell the whole story!   Baez sure doesn't want anyone to see them!

I was thinking about KC - and what her life has become.    No McDonalds or Taco Bell.   I have daughters 22 and 23 yrs old - and they have to have fast food at least once a week.   No video games.    No tv shows, no movies and popcorn.   No telephone calls or texts.    No sun or beach time.   No walking the malls.   No birthday cake - and no Easter basket (my girls still get baskets from me).   The books in the jail probably aren't the best reading material.   No fun, period.   That makes me happy.  I hope she never gets another free day in her life. 

Caylee wasn't allowed to enjoy her life  - but I take comfort in knowing she is in heaven!

Sassy,Caylee won't suffer the constant tug of war anymore.I'm sure she saw and heard things no child should.
If we were to find the truth in all of it,we'd probably take that jail apart with our own hands if we could.
I wonder if it has started to dawn on Casey that she can't treat the rest of the world like she did Caylee or her parents.When she figures out how serious this really is.....she will freak.
We saw small preview in court the other day.Remember when they were discussing the car,etc.?
