Baez is entitled to NOTHING regarding evidence at this point.  There is only an investigation at this point.  Only WHEN his client is actually charged with a crime is he entitled to the evidence.

Regarding Black and his focus group, I would like to see the results.  Probably 50 people who have never heard of the case.

I may be off base here but, in my thinking, if the judge grants the motion to allow Casey to leave the house, wouldn't that void the bond? The bond was issued with the stipulation of home confinement.

My feeling is that Judge Strickland will not allow her to do ANYTHING except lead them to Caylee's body. Judge Stickland does not care for Casey Anthony. Did you see my post earlier about the Aisenberg case though?

We certainly will, Dolce. The online purchase is one of the things Marlee will be talking to TES about today. I think it would be awesome but obviously, TES wouldn't have time to do this. Marlee & I have both agreed to handle it. Just the details have to be worked out as well as TES' permisiion.

I did KnayKnay. I agree that Strickland is not in her fan club. I really don't think it's going to happen but, I just wondered if it did, would it nullify the bond?

No judge in his/her right mind will allow her the freedom to roam around, unguarded. She could have looked for Caylee anytime in that 31 days she had not reported her missing. She could have told them where to find her for these last 3 months. She hasn't... so who thinks she's going to do any REAL searching now?!

Hmm. Interesting. What I see in that case is LE trying to make the parents fit the crime instead of allowing the evidence to lead. No doubt the defense will be crying "all the cops did was look for a body and blame Casey." But in this case the evidence is clear and compelling and no one is forcing it to fit. It just does. IMO

The comments on the MySpace page were taken down.  On the Facebook page that was removed (the one that is still up for debate if it was Casey) had people posting on her page making their own threats to LP and NG as well...they were fueled by Casey's comments though. (Or fake Casey..ugh I can not keep up..some think it was her and others think it was not.)

I always try to double check everything, and when I ask my husband if he's locked everything, I typically check again anyway.  You never can be too careful.. although logic tells me that if somebody really wants to get in and do harm, they will try like hell to find a way.   (Who knows what the outcome would have been in either of these cases if the garage door had been locked?)

The comments on her facebook stop on March 13th 2008 and then pick up again on Aug 29th 2008.  That is a 5 month period of time missing.  Everything from Aug 29th to today is about Caylee missing only.

Casey Anthony has yet to be charged in connection to the events encompassing the happening of Caylee Marie ... why would Casey's defence be entitled to any of the prosecution's evidence?  Does this not normally take place in the Disclosure process at a Grand Jury.

Casey Anthony - out of jail on court-ordered home confinement -- wants a judge to let her visit "key points of interest" as part of the search for her missing 3-year-old daughter, Caylee Marie.

She also would like Circuit Court Judge Stan Strickland to keep her travel dates and times secret from the public.

These are two of nine requests from Anthony's lawyer that Strickland is scheduled to consider Friday at the Orange County Courthouse. It's unclear whether Anthony will attend.

Anthony, 22, has been charged with 13 felony counts, including child neglect, filing a false statement to law enforcement and various check-fraud charges, since reporting in July that her daughter disappeared in the care of a baby sitter named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez.

Sheriff's investigators have not found the child, who according to her mother vanished in mid-June. They also have not located the baby sitter and question whether she exists.

Anthony has posted bail totaling more than $500,000 and is living at home with her parents in east Orange County. Every Monday, she visits her home-confinement officer to arrange her schedule for the week -- a report that is open to the public. Most of her time away from home is spent at the office of her attorney, Jos� Baez.

Baez filed eight requests with the judge Friday. The ninth was filed last month.

Todd Black, a spokesman for Baez, said many of the requests result from media reports quoting unnamed sources about evidence in the case. For example, no one ever confirmed on the record that traces of chloroform were found inside the trunk of Anthony's car, but that information has appeared on TV and in the Orlando Sentinel.

The idea behind Anthony's requests is to get prosecutors and detectives to "tell the truth," Black said. "If you have a report from the FBI, show it. If you have a report from the Body Farm, show it."

The defense wants the state to turn over results of forensic testing, including testing on traces of chloroform supposedly found in Anthony's car and any documentation about the air-sample testing done at the Body Farm at the University of Tennessee.

Authorities reported the samples showed that the car trunk contained a decomposing body at one point.

In other documents, the defense says it wants:

*Access to the car, which is being held by the Orange County Sheriff's Office. Baez has hired his own defense expert to examine the vehicle in preparation for trial.

*Release of all records about the state's investigation into Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez.

*Disclosure of records from the Department of Children and Families, which investigated the child-neglect issue.

*Permission to inspect the polygraph exams that have or will be given to anyone related to the case. This includes questions asked and answered and all reported conclusions from examinations.

*Access to the flight manifest of AirTran Airways Flight 862 that flew from Orlando to Atlanta on July 2. Someone reported seeing Caylee on the plane. Investigators, who got a copy of the manifest, later found that child was not Caylee.

*Approval to inspect digital forensic evidence, such as computer hard drives, cell phones, SIM cards and media cards.

*A halt to testing and handling of forensic evidence until the court rules on how the testing will proceed.

While Baez has been handling legal issues in the case, Black -- who is with a firm called Press Corps Media -- met with focus groups last weekend to gauge public opinion about the case. He said he was encouraged with the findings.

The main point he learned, he said, is that the public is tired of the case and no longer trusts the media.

He said he will issue a report to Baez, who may choose to use the findings to argue in favor of moving any trial on the charges to another city.

Yes, that is pretty scary. We have an automatic garage door opener, so we hit the button as we approach the garage, drive into the garage, then hit the button again and put the garage door back down before ever getting out of the car. We never, ever lock the door that goes from the house out into the garage.

Thank goodness we've never had anyone sneak into the garage behind us before we put the door back down, although we have accidentally trapped the neighbor's dog in there a couple of times.  ::MonkeyHaHa::

There is a Todd Boeckman born in 1984 who was the QB for the Ohio State Buckeyes....

Todd Boeckman (born June 8, 1984), is a quarterback for the Ohio State Buckeyes football team. He was recruited in 2002, but red-shirted and grey-shirted, extending his stay with OSU for two more seasons. His age (24) makes him currently one of the oldest players in college football. After Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith graduated after the 2006 season, Boeckman beat out fellow quarterbacks Rob Schoenhoft and Antonio Henton for the starting job. In 2007, he passed for 2,375 yards and 25 TD's and was named first team Big Ten. He also led the Buckeyes to the BCS National Championship Game on January 7th, 2008. He threw for 208 yards, 2 touchdowns , and 2 interceptions as the Buckeyes fell to Louisiana State 38-24.

Boeckman entered the 2008 season as a 6th year Senior. He was named the starter for the 2008 season, however has recently lost the starting job to Terrelle Pryor.

God i know-if she would let LP talk theres no telling what other scoop we could get from him. I love nancy, but god she can be inappropriately rude sometimes. Its a wonder some of her expert guests agree to return! I did tell her to shut it last night(talking to the tv-i know) watching how rude she was to the polygraph expert as I think all he was trying to do was defend LP and establish his credibility. It also grates on my nerves to hear some of these defense attys spew their crap. Makes me wonder how i would find a decent one if i ever needed one! One things for sure....Casey wont be allowed to go search.......why would the one that is the main suspect be allowed to go search for something she hid in the first place....thats so totally stupid.........No she wont be able to do that!!!

Jose Baez justifies his request for release of documents crucial to the prosecutor's case against his client although Casey has yet to be charged in connection to the happenings encompassing the disappearance of Caylee Marie.

I know I am in the minority on this form but ... to avoid possible lawsuits ... I spectulate that the judiary and the prosecution are going to bow.

Casey Anthony Wants To Search For Caylee Without Public Knowing Details

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Caylee Anthony has been reported missing for 82 days now and detectives say she's dead, but now her mother is taking some interest in searching for her.

The revelation came from court papers filed by Casey Anthony's attorney Monday (read motions). Jose Baez wants all kinds of reports and documents, from lab tests, polygraphs, her computer and phone records, and he even wants training records of the officers and service records for the equipment.

Casey spent Monday afternoon at her attorney's office after checking in with her case manager at the jail. She strutted away from her meeting with her case manager at the jail Monday, with no sunglasses and heavy eye makeup.

"Why did you wait four months before deciding you want to look for Caylee?" WFTV reporter Kathi Belich asked Casey as she left her meeting.

Casey's attorney hopes to convince Circuit Judge Stan Strickland on Friday to allow Casey to travel secretly to "places of interest" in the case to "assist with the search of missing child, Caylee Anthony." But Baez also asks in the motion that "due to the sensitive nature of this Motion, the Defense requests that the date and time of such travel not be public."

One of the reasons Casey is on house arrest for child neglect is because she did nothing to find her daughter and apparently still hasn't.

Anthony's attorney also wants access to the evidence from the car Casey was driving when Caylee disappeared. He's trying to pull that evidence into the child neglect case so his expert can get to it.

In the motion, Baez makes the following argument: "Certainly, evidence that the very daughter the defendant is accused of having neglected may have been dead in the trunk of the defendant's vehicle is a critical fact in a trial for child neglect."

Baez also wants records pertaining to any Zenaida Gonzalez investigators have questioned in their search for the alleged nanny.

Baez says he's entitled to all the information because Casey has suffered the public's hatred and that "law enforcement or the State Attorney's Office has successfully tried a homicide case against the defendant in the public eye."

Casey hasn't yet asked to go to Friday's hearing on the filed motions.

I downloaded Casey Anthony’s entire PB account.  It contains a lot of pictures of Caylee, including one that looks like a pot leaf on her shirt…I hear that it is just a leaf that is part of the teams logo in Ohio.

Also  images, icons and graphics  that she downloaded this summer and some she deleted after Caylee was reported missing. There was a comment from Casey on Amy’s cell phone about “loving fuzzy red balloons” which is a band that one of her friends (CAM CAM) is a member.

Notice all the balloon graphics.  Perhaps they meant something to her…maybe they didn’t.  She also draws hearts…there are many on her pictures…ever notice the hearts on Caylee’s hand?

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- The public story that has been most often attributed to Casey Anthony concerning the disappearance of her daughter Caylee may not be the same one she is telling privately.

According to the man who drove Casey Anthony around during the time she was first released on bond said Friday that Casey told him she left three year old Caylee with her babysitter at Blanchard Park in East Orange County.

Rob Dick is a bounty hunter who took Casey Anthony to and from her parent’s home in East Orange County to the jail for appointments and her attorney’s office in Kissimmee. 

Dick said that Casey was very talkative during the rides and spoke of her missing daughter in the present tense. And even though he wasn’t allowed to ask her any questions about the case, she gave him several names she said were involved in the disappearance of her daughter.

“She would try to, you know, give me leads and things to look into,” he said. “A lot of confirming of her story that she gave police.”

Dick also said that Casey never really showed any emotion.

“There was no crying,” he said. “There was no frustration other than the fact it seemed like it wasn't getting anywhere. She was telling a story and nobody was believing her.”

Caylee Anthony has been missing since the middle of June. Casey didn’t report her disappearance until July.

According to investigators the story she told them, and the one most often quoted in the media, was that she left Casey with a babysitter named Zanida Fernandez -Gonzalez at an apartment in Orange County. But when investigators went to the apartment, no one by the name lived there. Shortly after Casey was arrested and charged with child neglect making false statements and obstructing the investigation into her daughter's disappearance.

Investigators eventually did find a woman matching the name who had visited the apartment Casey named, but she said she didn’t know Casey Anthony or the child.

According to Dick, the story Casey told him was that she had left Caylee with Zanida Fernandez –Gonzalez and Gonzalez’s sister Samantha at Blanchard Park in East Orange County, and according to Dick, Casey Anthony was given a ‘script’ to use for 30 days that would be used to explain Caylee’s disappearance to Casey’s parents and the authorities.   

Early in the investigation, Sheriff’s department investigators repeatedly said that Casey was a habitual liar and had told them numerous mistruths and the original story concerning the apartment.

Yes.  He is a old friend of my husband's family, absolute sweetheart.  He is 72 y/o with a wife who is 1 year recovering from breast cancer.  Social security will not pay him enough to support the home and her illness, and he can not get a job any where else due to rheumatory arthritus.  I have him on my payroll full time to drive me where I need to go using my vehicle.  He gets to work for his money as he wants to, and I get to help out a friend. End of story.  He likes being called the driver btw...he is fun!

I see these motions and Baez's comments as a grand set-up for the "cops looked no further than Casey" defense. If they are to go on pretending she is innocent, then she has to pretend to be interested in "searching" for her daughter, wearing the Caylee t-shirt, and so on. But she is doing a piss-poor acting job and an Academy Award is not in her future. 

And I don't hate defense attorneys, just some of the people they respresent.

Police said a wallet belonging to Republican Mel Martinez was stolen from his rental car while he was at a football game.

Someone posted on the last thread, I think it may have been Janet, the first interviews from Cindy where she talks about "forgiving" Casey for what she says she must have done. Maybe the body guard over heard them talking about the new cover up...she was in the house after the first release after all..

IIRC, there was a day when Cindy went to the Sherriff's Dept and was taken out a back door.  There was a woman waiting there with her car, and the woman gave her a big hug and appeared to be very sympathetic.  I always wondered if it was this PI. 

If so, perhaps the nutty Anthony's were able to draw her in with their lies and deception and she heard something and decided not to tell?  Then she snapped out of it when LP & team pulled out?

I think that there are a lot of people who have not dissected this case in the way it is being done on all of the blogs, etc, who may be sympathetic to this insane family.... perhaps from the inside she became one of them?

Maybe the security guard heard or saw something from Casey that she should have turned over to LE before she left. I do believe she has talked to LP and some of the info he is getting comes from her and RD, the male who escorted Casey every day.
As for NG... she is so rude sometimes that I yell at the t.v. My hubby just cracks up laughing at her! But we have both ended up yelling at her at the same time. These so-called experts are usually just spouting what she wants to hear. Every now and then one will make a lot of sense... and those are the ones she bullies! NG reminds me of a pit bull.. but she sure has some cute babies!
As to Lenny... he has a lot of contacts, he is generally respected because he keeps his word. I wish NG wouldn't always throw it up that he originally bonded her out and then revoked it... he obviously didn't know all the details at the time, and I do think JB led him to believe that he could question her... and then once she was out, he said NO. JB is a sleaze... just like his client.

I cannot comprehend why this woman guard working for Leonard Padilla would have had to sign a confidentiality agreement with the Anthonys.  Obviously ... when you consider Rob Dick and Leonard Padilla's interviews with Nancy Grace and Dana ... these two did not sign any confidentiality agreements.  They have revealed much of what was said and done in the period of Casey's first release.

I suspect that this woman guard has obtain valuable info while in the Anthony household  through what may be considered illegal means.  Something akin to a secret recording?  Maybe this is why she requires legal representation.

This is my first post.  Nice to meet everyone.  I'm a few pages behind but I just saw this post and wanted to chime in.  I don't know if garage doors openers are the same now but in the past I have heard that garage doors can be opened by openers NOT belonging to the owners of the house.  I guess in some cases they are similiar to the universal t.v. remote controls, in that, one can work for any device.  Just wanted to throw that out.  Lock the door to your home, don't rely on the garage door alone.

So much time has passed and LE has yet to search for Caylee, and in that time plenty of evidence has been planted all over Orlando. Don't you think it interesting that Tim took the jar and packed up and left the day he spent with LE by his side? Has anyone thought about a conspiracy to frame Casey is going on?

Also, as I explained to Steph last night, the odor in the car was dead crickets! A friend played a joke and put 1000 crickets in the car and they died. This is not something that LE is talking about, so what other news is out there you all have not heard? Makes one wonder doesn't it?

The decomposition fluids in the trunk yielded epithelial cells that came from the inside of someone’s nose and mouth. The DNA from that fluid, from those cells, is consistent with Caylee’s. The hair from the trunk is also consistent with Caylee’s hair, and showed bacterial infestation that's indicative of postmortem shedding which means the hair was left in the trunk after Caylee was dead.

FOX 35’s Mike Dunston spoke with FOX News Senior Judicial Analyst Andrew Napolitano about the motions released yesterday that could allow Casey Anthony to leave her home and help search for her daughter, Caylee.

Casey Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez, requested that his client be allowed to visit key places. “I suggest that motion has been made for PR purposes so that she can telegraph to the public from among the 12 jurors who will try her, that she’s interested in finding the baby,” Napolitano said.

Napolitano said he believes the motions were filed as a ruse to get the public to think that Casey is a grieving mother. “Whether she’s grieving or not we may never know. Whether she really wants to find the child or not we may never know,” he added.

Baez also filed motions to obtain copies of inspection and forensic evidence from Casey’s computer, cell phone and car.

A motion is scheduled Friday to determine whether these motions will be granted or denied. The meeting is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. at the Orange County Courthouse.
