Ummm????   Because I am reveling in self pity and it seems like a temporary fix and I figure I might as well indulge for a short time and I threw away money and I'm upset I gained so much weight since I quit and I don't know if it really matters and I am depressed and....should I go on???

Hi Mary,

Don't be depressed over the weight gain.  Conquer the smoking part and then concentrate on the weight gain.  One thing at a time.  Isn't it a good feeling to breath a little easier.

I feel like that smilie that MT posts that knocks on the glass but can't get in.   

MM, quitting is hard!  I quit about 23 yrs ago & I still want one.
