 Motion Granted To Review George Anthony's Testimony
ORLANDO, Fla. -- In the case against Casey Anthony Tuesday, the judge has just granted a motion from prosecutors to review George Anthony's grand jury testimony.

Prosecutors want to look at his testimony because they are looking for inconsistencies between the statements George Anthony gave on Oct. 14 of last year and the sworn deposition he gave two months ago.

Just hours after he testified before the grand jury, his daughter, Casey Anthony, was indicted on a charge of premeditated murder and put in jail. Months later, prosecutors chose to pursue the death penalty. So the question is did George Anthony try to soften or change his testimony in August knowing that his daughter was facing the death penalty? Prosecutor Jeff Ashton said he will share the testimony with Casey Anthony's defense team.
Casey Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee Anthony. Caylee's remains were found in a wooded area off Suburban Drive near the Anthony family home last December.

Oooo!   Let's keep in mind folks that obviously Ashton was at the Grand Jury proceedings.   The State prosecutors presented the case to the GJ, they KNOW what he said....they just want it in writing to compare to what he said in other sworn statements & interviews after his Grand Jury testimony.   Sharing under court seal with the defense....in other words kiss my @$$ Bozo we've got this, now what!

If it is being shared with Bobo, it is being shared with KC.  Next time she sees Daddy Dearest I bet we will see her flipping the bird a few more times and less of her poking her eyes to make them water.  Waste....huge waste!

To those confused, yes they may share with the defense attorneys under seal but not public record.   Regardless you know the Anthonys will be told what it states by Bozo, pretty sure technically that would be a violation of the order.

Capp- Can they ever refer to that testimony, since it is to remain secret except for them (SA) when Casey goes to Court- or are mainly they looking at this to charge him with Perjury?

I agree with Ispy's excellent post except on one point.  I don't think Cindy knew that Caylee was dead until after the third call.  IMO that call was the last time Cindy sounded sincere on any occasion.  "I need to find 'huh!'" I thought perhaps that Cindy had some kind of speech impediment with her pronunciation of "Her," and still don't get the point of it.  She actually does not have a speech impediment, but she sounded truly distraught IMO.  Of course Ispy's opinion is as good as mine and could be correct, but that's my take on it.  I think Cindy did indeed find out what Casey had done shortly after that third call and George straightened her out and the big coverup began.  I doubt we will ever know for a certainty, since the Anthonys are covered with Teflon and will never be prosecuted for what IMO are their misdeeds.

There should be no discussion of the GJ testimony before trial unless the judge unseals a portion or all of it, Judge Strickland's order today states that it will remain sealed unless otherwise determined by the court at a later date (not exact words).  Yes, since the defense does not represent the Anthony family other than Casey nor does Brad Conway represent Casey, it shouldnt be discussed with them either.

Sorries, forgot one thing...the Anthonys have already committed perjury, at trial they will undoubtedly commit perjury again.   Whether the State or feds for that matter choose to charge them is a whole nother story.   Beyond perjury, it is my distinct opinion that they were accessories after the fact in concealing the murder & thereafter...again charging them remains to be seen & to be honest the fact that they are grandparents to the victim & parents of the accused (soon to be convicted) that empathy would factor along with public perception & opinion will weigh into that decision (I dont agree that should be a factor at all)
